I actually attended the Loona Cinema Theory Event, but when these vids didnt got released, it seemed pretty unfair to other Orbits who could not attend, i think BBC has some type of fear to success at this point

You also have to realize that Olivia Hye would have had to record her solo album and music video, the yyxy album and music videos, and then record ++ album, learn the choreography for the entire album and then film the Favorite and Hi High music video all within 3 months. She must have been exhausted.

This footage was from an event titled Loona Cinema Theory. Im sure it was kept unreleased to give the paying Orbits in attendace something exclusive. But that was Predebut and i think its time its officially released.

BBC is the real "villain" lol jaden made loonatheballad with monotree, bbc didn't buy it digipedi made a lot of music videos and lore videos... bbc didn't want to post them ..
I still think is mainly Jaden Jeong's fault. he was CREATIVE director. He created all the lore and wanted them to have that exclusive aura. loonatheballad was mentioned in some videos descriptions so BBC was actually on board from some time, but Jaden's view was unrealistic, BBC let him do his thing but I think they realized (or always knew, who knows) that this kind of "exclusive" project had a nature that wouldn't let them have profit, or hardly would. Without profit, loona is over. Without Jaden they were able to send them to shows and let Jinsoul stop bleaching her hair. So they don't care about that exclusive stuff. They got their first win, they're fine. BBC is trash, yes, but this whole project of unreleased, mysterious stuff was Jaden Jeong's work. He got fired maybe because BBC was done with it.
If they really wanted to keep these exclusive while not wasting money they should release them on a DVD and sell them. Orbits would buy the hell out of those = profit The stuff already exists and you spent money on making it cmon bbc
honestly have a dvd of these mvs but they're slightly different here and there in shots so that you can use alternate ones and make it worthwhile to have something different.

I don't really have a problem if they want to keep those performance versions locked away, but I do have a problem when they literally lock away the lore. This is a dead giveaway that cheorry and hyunjin are related, before it was revealed in so what. Cheorry met yves, but orbits who love the lore and theories would only think they met at hi high. The cat in one&only is hyunjin because gowon already has ties to her. You give this group an extensive and well thought out story, and then lock part of the story away so only certain people can view it?

So the material was mostly there and those cinema theory vids were just really bonus material / confirmation

It was released. It is exclusive (not unreleased) content, from a event named Cinema Theory, in which the orbits saw a lot of lore related things and other videos like SITR and EILY performance videos. Sorry for my english if I wrote something wrong, it's not my first language.

Jaden really did these girls dirty. We would’ve had so much content if he wasn’t concerned about keeping LOONA a secret and sticking to the story in his head so strictly. The girls deserve better. Thanks for sharing all of this footage though.

They released these things when loona was "small" in exclusive orbits' events called LOONA Cinema Theory and the people were really into that! But I think they (BBC) thought because all the effort they put in every song and specially the lore they would make a "debut of the year" with Hi High but it was not a success like they wanted so that was the first thing shutting them down. With Butterfly they kept showing some things related to the lore but much less compared to the previous era and here is when I think it went bad because after no winning a show again (and for that they didn't realeased the FINISHED performance version of Butterfly) they started to care less for the lore and more into the music. Remember that they were making an orbit digital album called Loonatheballad that was supposed to be released in August 2019 but it didn't. After that (or in the same time, we don't know) they were focusing in the new song/album "BURN" that is supposed to be the previous "So What" but it was delayed like Loonatheballad too. Here I think is where J*den fucked up. He, as the creator of the loonaverse, seeing that everything he planned didn't went like he wanted (first win, global tour (AND THEY WANTED TO DO A CINEMA THEORY IN 5 COUNTRIES TOO) and a really big place in Korea) started to think about leave the project but obviously the group needed to stay in the game. So it went like that, as he said himself "I deleted an entire album, I'm leaving" orbits thought the album was loonatheballad but I personally think it was "Burn", THE ENTIRE ALBUM. That's why the company delayed the comeback again and again. They needed a new title track, new b-sides, record all the things and make a new choreography. cloudy x but that’s the thing, they did gain money from it lmao. most of these were released for people who went to their special event concert. they were literally produced and filmed for people who paid to see them and as a way to incentivise people to attend. it’s like bbc putting the hidden tracks in the limited albums so we buy more.

They should have released this kind of stuff long ago as (at the very least) pay-for-view content, but especially at a time like now where concerts and live special events are no longer an option. it was rumored that Satellite MV was made and will be released if Loona got their first win with Butterfly (If you have watched the xx comeback concert leaks, the outfits were actually for Colors/Satellite). Dunno. Just rumors within the orbit community.

BlueStylus I agree they fed us pretty well, but thinking about how long the loona project has been they really haven’t. Take dream catcher for example make special MVs for bside tracks, silly videos and vlive a lot. We nearly didn’t get a vivi birthday live until we complained. The secrecy and restrictions on loona have to stop. I also really wanted a 18.6y mv its my favourite song :(

good point but your opinion is opinion. the fact is they have all these hidden videos and even more as hinted im loona tv, that could have bolstered marketing efforts. content that has budget behind it, content where in the girls put a lot of effort into, that we orbits never had the chance to see. you dont isolate a fanbase from the content.

As we all know, choerry can transform to different worlds. she met yves in new and she was hanging out with yeojin and haseul in the beginning of love choerry motion. i think she was a normal 1/3 girl before eating the choerry, which transformed her into odd eye circle with powers. choerry felt wise again and gained knowledge the second time she tried the choerry, and in the last scene of love cherry motion, I’m pretty sure she transports to the garden of Eden. she has the power to transform between different worlds!
There are theories that say Choerry is HyunJin's mirror - based on their respective colors, they're on opposite ends of the color wheel (HyunJin is yellow, Choerry is purple). In pre-debut promotional photos, Choerry's photo is similar to HyunJin's photo (the ones that were tweeted out when they revealed the girls). There's also the fact that HyunJin appears in Girl Front for a split second for seemingly no reason at all, except to prove this theory. Choerry herself can transport to the different "dimensions" which is why she shows up in new and One&Only. Yves gives her the apple she throws from the higher dimension of Eden down to the middle earth where OEC is, and Choerry takes that apple and drops it to Go Won, where she's literally hanging upside down like a fruit bat. It's also why there's the scene with Choerry meeting Yves in the same tunnel that Yves explored in new. Look up theory videos by twinfish and Daebak Jjang, they dive into a *lot* of this stuff and break things down piece by piece.
i get that they wanted to make them a mysterious group and honestly watching the clips in this type of quality does have that vibe, but at the same time it seems like such a waste especially since some of it was completely scrapped, not even to be shown in this kind of way :/ hopefully its being saved for someday in the future where they sell a download/dvd of unreleased content, but that feels like too high of a hope for bbc rn lol
I wish Loona had more vlives, more selfies, things like that. I wish I can see more of their personality other than Loona TV's 1 minute ish clips or from scripted variety shows, V live about the international fanbase, they could've done a world tour in 2019 when Loona was really popping.

I think BBC should've just make a Cinema & Theory 2.0 Event and throw all the unreleased stuff for viewing and get some money. Butterfly Performance Video is the biggest missed opportunity ever. No joke. They filmed in this beautiful ass set with the prettiest and most elegant outfits and bbc forces Digipedi to delete it😑
the vivi hongkong video and the scene with jinsoul at the aquarium.... i replayed it over and over again. such a good way to catch people off guard with something so haunting after such a lighthearted vlog. those few seconds at the end really are some kind of masterpiece

My two cents on this: I know that the content was through a fan event, but wouldn’t it be a smart idea to release this even and all through a dvd sort of thing; kind of how BTS have muster DVD’s. LOONA has a huge international fan base that I’m sure it would be worth while to do a limited run of the dvd contents. Hell, even do separate dvds for each cinema theory held lol 😆 Second, this might be super controversial, but I feel a bit sad that for the L&L special MV, they didn’t have a 5 group formation rather than replacing Vivi with Choerry :( Ig it’s just more budget friendly to keep the current 4 group formation or whatever and replace the “dispensable” member with a more popular one. Idk I’m probably being sensitive, but I really don’t appreciate Vivi being snubbed ever since the early days seeing as she’s being snubbed way more now :(
actually, choerry replacing hyunjin* was for lore reasons! u might’ve caught it in why not and love cherry motion, but in the lore they’re mirrors of each other. the l&l switch was to represent that! and she wasn’t replaced fully, it was just for a little bit towards the end. it’s actually got a lot of important lore bits! so don’t worry, she wasn’t replaced for popularity reasons. it was a super smart move, actually! they were able to explain the lore + show off multiple members! For some reason, I think this upcoming comeback will make unreleased content justice... on "New Moon"'s teaser we can appreciate Vivi with dark hair... she had her hair like that after The Carol 2.0 (because she's blonde there) so perhaps they'll use something from that (?) meaning that BBC still owns this content and it didn't go with JJ like rendevouz MV and loonatheballad.

For the things like “performance MVs” those are really easy to make since they’ve already been filmed during the actual MV shooting. They go over the dance scenes like 5-6 times. The fun part is because it’s Digipedi they’re always beautiful shots because they know the image but BBC just doesn’t have time to put that footage out there for whatever reason? I don’t even know.

Would just love this to be released, or even a special DVD or something There will be no point having these videos in future Cinema Theories (if they even do it) as these were still mainly pre debut/early debut, they can make new videos or reveal new unreleased content for future ones
I'm pretty sure there's more unreleased videos. With Jaden leaving, he could've deleted some videos. If they could save it put it on DVD's or some shit, orbits would literally buy those especially videos with heavy lore.
