I commend you, but "hopefully" doesn't sound certain. Have you done a business plan and have you done a marketing plan, have you analyzed the market to see who your competitors are, how they make their money, how much they charge and what they are doing to get customers? have you analyzed your local market and how you will market your business? just some things to consider.
You don't need prayers, you need business education and a plan. I went all in on a Photography studio. I am a qualified professional Photographer, good at Photography and working with people, I thought that i was my passion and I enjoyed taking pictures that it would be enough to succeed in making it a profitable business. I was wrong. The studio I chose had too high overheads and I didn't have the marketing skills needed to generate enough business to break even and I ran out of money in 6 months, studio closed, game over. In hindsight, I would have built up the business from home just doing weddings and portraits, maybe hiring a studio if needed and then go full time in a studio once I had built up a profitable business and I had proved there was enough demand for my service. Could you go part time teaching and start your business on your days off? Have you got any orders yet for your Hampers?
Rate this vid high. NERD TIP - on the overhead/birdseye view camera, once you've set up and it's focused just turn the lens to 'manual focus'. Then it wont blur in and out and be blurry when hands or people move and write. Same trick will work on the side cameras. All love just looking out because I want to see more vids! Ha... I have watched every 'Get my Knowledge' video in the past week and now this one too. Ive gone from having a tiny idea of wanting to start a business to actually starting one and have mapped out my full plan. Thank you so much Simon. My dream is to create a space that fully helps and supports small businesses that are struggling. To also help my future employees start their own business and help them thrive. Offering them mentorship, allowing them to get equity in my business and for me to invest in their business. Most people dont have the luxury of quitting their job to go all in on their first business so i want to pay them to learn how to run a successful business through helping me grow mine, and then invest in them when they are ready to launch their own. I have secured my first client by offering to do free marketing as they are a struggling business with a huge purpose of getting mental health resources to the most vunerable of people.

I plan to have multiple companies (product/service/manufacturing/etc) so they can learn every aspect and help them decide the path for them. The initial plan will be for them to help me run my business and we do mentoring once a week to discuss their ideas or plans. I will also want them to try out different areas of the business so they can learn each skill and see what it is that works best for them. It will be a slow starter and a service business is going to be my first priority which will eventually fund the start up of my product business. What is your dream?

I want a service and a product business so they will get traning in all aspects of running and starting a business. Giving people the freedom to try different areas and get full training in different areas. I wont hire for 1 specific role, whoever is to join me can get full access to any part of the company that they want to learn. I also want to give them weekly mentorship for free where they can discuss any ideas they have and if i can help them or point them in the right direction. So my product/service businesses would be making the money, for me to invest and then the ROI would continue to be put into the next business i invest in. Hope this makes sense and im happy to answer any more questions :)
One point I learned the hard way. Don't take government jobs. I'm an artist and I was teaching art classes for 2 years with an government run community centre. I was the best at my job, I was irreplaceable, I sold out every class and had many returning customers and a waiting list for my classes. Every 6 months I would ask for a pay raise and get turned down every time. Basically it was "computer says no" I was in a certain category for salary based on my education level and job age and I was supposed to stay there.. My input, efforts, skills, popularity, money made for the workplace, didn't matter at all.

My goal for now is to live free by making money via ecommerce, to do what I want, understand myself better, to have no limits in developing myself, organize my time how I want it, not how someones tell me to do. Even if that means working 24 hours a day, when I will accomplish this, the next goal would be something similar to what you two are doing. Helping business grow, helping people achieve their goal or making a community where very open minded and intelligent can meet up, for networking, to create something amazing for the society.

Luke always says the right thing, he’s smart and always motivational. But apart from that he doesn’t provide much value. He always dodges the question of how do you actually start to make money online with no experience and a small start up capital. People are looking for that specific answer and he never gives it. What the people want is a step by step guide. First you do step 1, then step 2, then step 3, then step 4 and then the money starts to turnover. Until he comes out and says it, he just talking the talk without showing how to walk the walk. Maybe he’s another online guru / grifter. I haven’t checked but I’m guessing he’s got some kind of course for sale. Is all the smooth talk an upsell and the marketing strategy for his course? I don’t know, it’s up to you to decide.
Yeah I've noticed this too. Although, I still like him and I do believe he offers some valuable insights. I like to take certain aspects of what he says and try to apply them specifically to my own situation.
The fact that people want a step-by-step guide on how to make money is not his problem, because he can't provide that, NO ONE can. If it were that easy, everybody would do it. It's like asking for a specific answer to how to live a good life; there are literally billions of different ways that could make up a good life. We obviously can't ask for specifics when it can't be applied universally. That's why it's YOUR task to find the specifics; based on fundamental rules, you have a framework with a set of values and laws that YOU need to apply to a particular circumstance of a particular time. He can't give you a specific answer because he doesn't posess the knowledge that you posess; the local knowledge of a particular circumstance of a particular time.

I have been mining for about 6 months now and just about every mine, it backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

Don't listen to her, don't give up. Mining takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later
You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?
I've been in touch with a financial advisor ever since I got into the market. Knowing today's culture The challenge is knowing when to purchase or sell when investing in trending stocks, which is pretty simple. On my portfolio, which has grown over overboard and been making about $1500 bi-weekly, What I'm trying to say is the 5% of traders in the world that are consistently profitable are very reserved, they are just random/lowkey people no one even expects. If you ask me, the most important factor that goes to having, not just a successful business, but having the determination that goes to succeeding in life. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

I have watched multiple videos of Luke and thought he was an idiot. Congratulations Simon for being the first host to ask him insightful questions on a great topic and give Luke the opportunity to showcase his knowledge. Luke does need to be more selective about the content creators he talks to because in my experience he comes across poorly talking a lot of nonsense in a lot of videos I have watched. I will now not swipe past him in future when he comes onto my social media platforms and consume more of his content to see if there are more golden nuggets to be had!
Most people want to change their life because they’re already going through hardship, for example debt, difficult living situation, poverty, bad health, unfulfilling job, etc. So to say to someone to get out of hardship, you need to go through more hardship would deter people from wanting to make that change. I think how Luke pointed out, if you want to achieve a goal, you have to make it easier for yourself, i.e. eliminate distractions, turn off notifications, get a separate work phone etc. The way you speak to yourself during this time is really important, being hard on yourself will only lead to regression. You need to learn to develop disciple through repetition.
