Real AS is about designing an entire competitively fake season in order to crown a specific individual and showcase older but loyal to the show contestants. Exceptions might apply (cough, Mimi, Phi Phi, Trixie, cough).
Agreed, top 2 for me was gia and latrice but manila definately deserved to be placed high on that challenge, still don't get how trinity and monique were top 2 that week when one of them was mediocre as fuck and predictable and the other was cringe-worthy... Gia was so so so robbed that week and I'll never get over that. Also, if we're talking performance wise, latrice's number was MUCH more interesting than monique's. I find myself constantly questioning the judgement on this show like wtf did the judges see the same thing as we did or what???

@@ellimistiquekrystal I think that's mostly because when people think fashion they tend to lean towards dresses that look like they ripped off a runway (example, Aquaria and now Gigi). What Manila does great is combining that with quirky and thematic runways. I think thats what people sometimes don't 'get'. But in my opinion Manila is just as much of a fashion queen as others.
Living legend of drag. She combined glamour and camp and created her own original and well executed brand. Everything she does is art. I didn't think I could like someone's drag better than Sasha Velour's THEN...

@Joopy Jellopy girl there are SEVERAL looks worse than that pair of Grecian inspired flowy gowns. IE latrice's airbrush cat couture, Monique's elegance after dark, Valentine's angelic white, Monet's padded look. If anything, Trinity's Versace outfits are uglier and much tackier. And Monets partner was painted like a ghost.
Manilla gave us talent, humour and style. She had unique looks that hadn’t really been done before, always looked bomb as fuck. She didn’t even look bad on the best judy episode. This season was dissapointting as fuck
i really appreciate how her makeup AND runway presentation always change along with the outfit. she carried herself so differently when wearing the elegance after dark look compared to the bondage bunny, compared to the curves and swerves look, compared to the greek goddess, etc etc. she PERFORMS on that runway, even when she's not lip syncing. she adapts, and she exaggerates the part of her persona that each outfit brings out. she knows how to sell a look. she knows that a look is more than just the garment, it's making sure YOU *WEAR* the garment, never let it wear you.
Manila had always been one of my most favorite Queens. Along with Bianca Del Rio, Katya, Tatiana, Raven, Jujubee, Latrice Royale, Alyssa Edwards, and more.
She was the best of all stars 4. She deserved to win. I love Naomi but i'll never forgive her to push Manilla out. Manilla the true Starqueen of All Star 4
I love how she just keeps surprising us and yet every time it happens we can totally say "that is so Manila". There's this line between curation and innovation that she walks effortlessly. Truly one of the queens with better sense of self. Quirky, campy, creative. Extremely expressive, probably one of the best lip-syncers (and never having to do a split or deathdrop). Extremely knowledgeable of cultural references. Artistically multi-talented. She deserved to win.
The most consistently stunning and creative runways of the entire franchise. Manila surprised us every episode while maintaining a recognizable style throughout. You know a Manila outfit the moment you see it, yet you never know what to expect. Props to whoever makes the outfits for the execution as well... I think it might be her husband?
The song has always fits her from head to toe, i'm still can't move on about that season. She supposed to be the winner or must say 'the real super queen' periodt.
Pretty sure I suppressed my memories of this season to save my sanity. I swear I try to remember and all I see is Manila’s stunning looks and pure unadulterated talent everything else was trash. But of course that doesn’t matter as long as Drag Race keeps producing dramatic twists 🙄
Deserved to win? ABSOLUTELY! Needs a win to be memorable and iconic? Hell no. Amazing Manila, show stopping, gorgeous, funny, lovely, iconic, everything. ❤️
With the exception of her angelic white and plastique runways she served the best looks this season (her makeover also wasn't that great but it wasn't bad either) Entrance and promo looks were also amazing, I would say they were some of if not the best between all of them... Excited to see what she's gonna wear for the reunion/finale if the eliminated queens get to come back for these
I love Manila to death and am genuinely so proud of her and will always have her back. Her skill, beauty, intelligence, and personality together cannot be matched. I hope she’s happy in her day-to-day life outside of drag. She deserves so much happiness and success. Not only as Manila but as Karl too.
Couldn't agree with you more. From all the things I've seen her in she appears very happy. She's done all kinds of things in her career -- Drag U, ANTM, other acting gigs, recording and performing original music and all the other stuff she does for WOW. I'm sure she makes a good living. She's happily married as well which I'm sure grounds her and provides her with security and stability while working in the crazy world of professional drag. She deserves every happiness for all the joy she brings to fans.
I really loved her beside of representing the drag name from our country. She's a defining of full elegant, comic and sexy drag. Consistency in the industry of drag is the what define her a legendary
Manila is one of the best RU girls ever. She is the perfect combo of beauty and talent. Her ability to bring camp and fashion to the runway is what makes her stand out from the rest. Her runways were always the best since S3! Love you Queen❤😍🌼
What I love about Manila is that she doesn't rely on her status, she is an icon and a legend now but she still shows us how fierce, funny, talented and creative she is. She's not entitled unlike her "BFF". Btch is sickening!

The most robbed Queen. She clearly won s3, she also could've easily won as1 if it's not teams, and she was the frontrunner and got eliminated in her first time in the bottom... Girl.
I wish we could have seen her Kitty look on the runway. All the other looks were super boring and predictable but her siamese look posted on Instagram was pure class !
When she walked out wearing tht Grey Dress - Elegance after dark ... I felt like , the Empress of Moon finally descending to earth to give us the gag for the rest of the century, wigs were snatched that day, some even saw wigs flying of the solar system. Some were also blinded reported the gay times .. Hail queen Glamazon ..her crown is her people. Period. TEAM MANILA FOREVER
