Sani R i think they sounded awesome, but i do agree with you. I didn't think it was really an issue of pitch, for me it was power. I feel like Zendaya's voice was drowned out in the harmonies because she was so soft and quite and max was much louder. But it was still an amazing cover

Zendaya doesn't have the breath support she needs to sing a song like this with a singer like Max. If you notice she breathes, very heavily and noticeable, after every single phrase. She would've been better off doing this song on her own.

This is a cover, the rhythms don't have to be exact. They're supposed to put their own style into it to make it their own. She very experienced and very talented.

For example, would you say Rihanna is a wonderful musician? Someone who never arranges their own music and is only a puppet for the industry to promote an "exotic" look? Yeah. Thought so. Christina only said she fell out of rhythm a few times, which she did. That's not a huge insult. Not all *constructive* criticism is insulting. That's why it's constructive. It helps people learn what they're doing wrong so they can fix it and come back ten times better.
