Nicky Doll very much reminds me of an April Carrion kind of queen that is poorly adjusted to the challenges and up against a culture difference and a language barrier, but is still always perfectly in her element on the runway no matter what is happening around them.
Both very beautiful, but I'm partial to Violet Chachki. Her face is so severe to me, her thin black brows that arch so high and her pouty lips. She is like a pin-up Pat McGrath fantasy, and she just looks so expensive.
Season 7 was full of talented queens i never understand why people always trash talk s7...it gave us trixie Katya and violet 3 the most successful queens ever

Gigi and Nicky was kinda like Aquaria and Cracker or Violet and Miss fame. 2 fashion queens in the same season and kinda look alike but one with memorable personality and the other kinda flatttttt
Fuck, a tiny part inside of me feels uninterested to finish the season now. Nicky is an epitome of the Parisian fantasy I had growing up & she embodies it so well. now all I’m rooting for is my black Barbie Jaida
I'm watching this bc Nicky Doll just came to RPDR mobile game. I really don't think she had that many good looks. Tbh most of her looks seemed like she would use them in a bad to perform.
okay she is cute, french, and serves great look but oh my god why couldn't she stop giving excuses about language barrier? i'm french too and i know how hard it can be but girl, why did you audition if you still feel insecure about this ? at the end of the day i am not sure she has the spooky personality she pretends to have and i really did not appreciate how she treated miss Aiden on the episode she went home girl, bye that was my opinion nobody asked for
Yeah. No-one asked at all. 🙄 Honestly, neither you or I would know just how tough the Drag Race environment is because we haven’t been there. It’d be easy enough for anyone to audition and then get there and feel a bit overwhelmed by the pressure, and have their inner demons get the better of them. Don’t judge her for being insecure in a hugely pressure-cooker environment. And I think Nicky and Aiden are fine now…all the girls ended up mending fences after the show (including Aiden and Brita, who had one of the worst feuds). Again, the competition environment can really bring out in the worst in people. I mean, you’re entitled to your views and all. But girl…what are you doing with your life? Talking smack about drag queens behind a phone screen? Not cute.
What was Michelle talking about personality on the ball episode for? She showed hella personality in the lady ballers outfit and she served different attitudes with every outfit. Also, it's a runway, "personality" isn't really a concern there imo
They did it for storyline reasons, they keep repeating it over and over again, the “fashion queen with no personality” storyline, they have at least 1 on every season at this point it’s so tired
It takes a lot of guts to go on such a competition show in a different country with a different language and culture. Nicky slayed it though and her bravery got her the gig of hosting DragRace France. Connections are soooo important! She was super courageous and even though she left 3rd eliminated, she opened up so many doors for herself. What a queen. 😊
@@BunnnyBoy you can be brave in many ways, not just the military… you sound exhaustingly annoying. Bravery isn’t a competition. It’s not only the most deadly choices that get deemed brave. It’s also the 5 year old who has an accident on the playground and gets whisked away in an ambulance before the parents can arrive so he goes alone to meet his parents at the hospital. It’s a shy 9 year old getting the courage to write on the board in front of the class. It’s the high schooler who put their fears aside to try out for the cheer squad/dance team. It’s the college student who chooses a college far from home. It’s the adults who take a leap of faith and get married. It’s the widow who has to break the news of their partner dying to their kids. It’s the person who accepts a job abroad/in another culture and language. Bravery can be seen in so many forms. Not just military personnel.
Rock m literally did 4 splits and looked desperate , she got desperate when the judges weren’t looking at her if you do more than 2 splits you should be sent home you shouldn’t rely on splits
Brita stood in front of Rock M the whole time and used the latter's prop to do whatever boring thing she did with it. Rock M might have done poorly in the lipsync but Brita did so as well. The whole lipsync was underwhelming and messy on both fronts (altho Rock M didn't deserve to lipsync imo)
Oh honey, they are safe IF their outfits didn't look cheap and next to Gigi, Aiden and Jaida what could Nicky have done when none of her looks were revolutionary. She was doomed to the proverbial guillotine.

for me nicky is the fashion queen of the season. gigi has great looks but they come off more costume than fashion. while nicky gives you very french couture with a touch of camp
America Drag Race will always value camp, laughter and clown-looking queens over top couture, elegant, and editorial drag queen. Why? cuz America don't know about couture, culture, and editorial looks...thats all European-driven. Nicki Doll was underrated and kicked out cuz she wasnt acting stupid like a clown to make us laugh.
I saw what they were trying to do unfortunately they had no patience with nicky Nicky miss fame more history than gigi with fashion being reserved because shes a model but secretly having personality Gigi violet hasn't been doing fashion as long or has as much fashion knowledge but rivals nicky Jaida pearl very naturally fashionable and chill and fully developed on makeup
@@gianbertiypelusa3924 But at least all her looks were clean and had synchronized shapes and colors. Many of Miss Fame's and Nicky's looks were unpolished around the edges making them look cheap.
If only her personality was as fierce on the actual show as it was on her “Meet the queens” runway, she promised a mix of fashion and anime and we only got the first part! Love her but she’s the kind of queen who needs to experience the show to evolve and I’m so excited to see what she brings up next!
I think it has a lot to do with both language and cultural barrier, she seems like she has personality but it is lost in translation especially in acting and impros challenges (and I say that as a french currently living in another country)
Poor Nicky 😢, she had the same run as The Princess and April, where they sucked at acting challenges but did well when the challenge is fashion oriented.
They said that she didn't have a personality or something like that. And I oop- why they need all the queens to make laugh, cry and talk about their traumas always!! Judged their talend Ma'am, not all the queens are drama queens
Its sad to see her get eliminated man. It was her 2nd week in the bottom(?) and Heidi killed that lip sync. Its also sad that her personality really shined through her insta live and confessionals.
She reminds me so much of Mariah from Season 3 brings a lot of personality into the werkroom and confessionals but dosen’t apply that to the challenges
