9:35 the baby on board sticker is actually for EMS, so that if you ever get in an accident and you're incapacitated they know that theres a "baby onboard" so they know they need to look for it and give it medical attention if needed.

47:44 essential oils have a place. My sister had a roller ball of one to help her anxiety, worked amazing. And as bug spray it works great on me as my skin turns lobster with normal spray and the sensitive skin stuff does nothing. It has a place but it’s not a cure all.

Ancient herbal medicine had some basis in fact through trial and error and are the starting point for stronger & more effective modern pharmaceuticals. Raw plant oils (from leaves, moss, bark, roots) can have effects like reduction of pain, swelling, nausea, and deterring insects. However, certain other plants are highly poisonous. And some that do have benefits can be irritating unless mixed into a salve to apply or made edible. Basically, don't do anything unless you have an expert source to reference. And ... a few drops of commercial oil put into a bottle of water... is for making scents, not curatives.

5:26 so this one is somewhat incorrect. Opossums can carry rabies, it's just not common. Their body temperature is lower so it's not a n ideal place fo r the virus to be. But if you do see an agressive opossum, assume it has some kind of disease and stay away

Wife of a police officer here -- and even he agrees you should ALWAYS GET A LAWYER. Do not accept interrogation without a lawyer present - PERIOD. Cops know the laws better than you, and they also know the loopholes. I don't care how innocent you are - GET. A. LAWYER. You already pay for a public defender with your taxes, so get your money's worth. Lawyers are there to help you, yes even the state-appointed ones.

Dawg there are around 200 lakes in Oklahoma??? Most of them are probably man-made though 😭 The Oklahoma Octopus is said to be found in Lake Thunderbird, Oolagah, and Tenkiller Also! Lake Thunderbird is named after the other cryptid that comes from Native American legend ☺️

Other things that may cause a feeling of impending doom are anaphylaxis, pulmonary embolism (a blockage of one or more blood vessels in the lungs usually caused by bloodclots), epilepsy aura (some people may have them before they have a seizure), panic/anxiety attacks, and even some medication! A medicine like adenosine is used to chemically restart the heart when it beats too fast or too slow, to try to fix it before we have to get an AED and start CPR. So, because it "restarts" your heart, it essentially stops your heart from beating, which causing the feeling of doom!! Random facts from your local EMT!

Oo! I remembered another thing that is cool about pre hospital healthcare! RSI (rapid sequence intubation)! A paramedic gives you a paralytic medicine to stop your lungs (and body!) from working, then intubate you really quickly and start doing manual ventilations. Obviously, you'd be unconscious for a RSI. Pre hospital healthcare gets INTENSE! Edit: FORGOT ABOUT THE INTRAOSSEOUS ROUTE (IO) FOR MEDICATION! Another cool thing about pre hospital care! A paramedic drills into your bone marrow to deliver the medication! Nine times out of ten, you're unconscious for an IO, and the paramedic would have likely tried to start an IV first. I *have* heard of an IO having to be put on a conscious patient, and it's said that the drilling isn't what hurts, it's the medication. Lucky, if you are ever unfortunate enough to have an IO put in while you're conscious, I'm sure the paramedic could give you some pain meds! I'm so sorry y'all, I just love my job 😭😭

I do think the Cistercian numerals have a charm to them, it’s a fun thing to teach yourself for an hour in an afternoon. However if I recall it isn’t used for complex math. Dont take what I say as absolute but I think it was used for simple things like numbering pages / notes, lines on music sheets and stuff like that. Possibly wine barrels too, but again I’m not an expert on it.

For anyone wanting to know why you put the black on bare metal in the dead car, most car batteries emit hydrogen gas which is highly explosive (see Hindenburg disaster). You are supposed to mount it to a bare piece of metal at least a foot away from the battery, most likely on the engine somewhere so the starter has an almost direct connection. Source: I’m a mechanic

It's probably been said before, but Fahrenheit is a temperature based on how hot/cold things are to human perception. 100F is really hot; 0F is really cold, and most people are comfortable somewhere in-between 60-90F.

2:44 Debate. Evil and sin was born after Adam and Eve ate the apple aka using free-will. If God would stop or manipulate us from sinning then we wouldn't have free-will. God can create a universe "with free-will and without evil", the reason it still exists is because it was our own choice to indulge in evil and sin, just like when Adam and Eve chose sin instead of God and were seperated from him as punishment which will happen to us if we indulge in evil.
