Nobody noticed that in her final lypsinc Shea was wearing LITERALLY the same wig that Sasha Velour used when she beat her on season 9? Shea even was using gloves and i was like "omg .... she's gonna make a wig reveal of the wig that she used in her final lipsync in season 9 but with blue petals to tell us like "i win this time "? I honestly would have died to see that.
unpopular opinion, but i LOVED her wedding chaps. her makeup paired with the veil looked ethereal and the concept went way further for me than the other queens, yet still gave me family picnic with the materials. A little ill fitting, sure, but still soooooo pretty.
So in season 9, everyone wanted her to win, and so many people were devastated when she lost. Now she won, and it seems like most folks are trying to take it away from her? Make it make sense.
Probably because AS5 was an underwhelming season. Because a lot of “fan faves” where in this season so the hype was spread too thin. And when it got to the final performance, she didn’t perform as well as people would’ve thought so that’s one of the reasons why I think her win wasn’t well received. All Stars seasons starting from 3 to present have been underwhelming, especially the crowning of the winner. It’s too “in your face”/predictable or an undeserving winner wins, you know what I’m saying.
Ya'll had the audacity to say she was robbed on season 9 and was your winner as soon as the cast reveal. But when she actually won she got treated like shit. Byeeeee.

NOT A SINGLE BOOT IN SIGHT IMO. im so happy that she proved herself as a fashion queen this time around. the versatility when it comes to the silhouetes and concepts amazes me 🤯😍
@bubbls abc My mother does pole dance, and believe me, Shea's talent show was as simple as it could be, not bad, but as the other dude said, pretty underwhelming.
Them putting her in the bottom for her 3-in-1 was some of the biggest blatant riggery ever. That was one of the best looks of the entire season, and they had the AUDACITY to pretend to dislike it.
I don’t think anybody was pretending to like it. It was an amazing concept, but it just didn’t translate well on stage. The second look was ugly with whatever that material was, the third look was underwhelming with the wings. And the bright colors made an already busy concept, even harder to see and understand.

Bottom 2 placement = 1 point Low placement = 2 points Safe placement = 3 points High placement = 4 points Challenge win = 5 points Add that up and Sasha beats Shea by an incredible 1 point. Sasha has 43 points while Shea only 42
the rupaul fandom was very demanding on shea. many high expectations not all of us are perfect. and it must be admitted that shea looked good on all her catwalks let's stop setting ourselves great and unreachable expectations
That pink finale look was high fashion, couture, chic, and everything and beyond what I could hope to see in a finale look. Shea was amazing. I hadn’t seen S9, so I got to know Shea simply from All Stars alone - and I’m an instant fan seeing her journey throughout the show. Some people may criticise the fact that she didn’t have as consistent a track record as Miz or Juju, however it didn’t matter because ultimately the top 3/4 in Drag Race are there because they did well throughout the season alone, and it wasn’t the track record alone that brought them to the top, but the fact that they prevailed to get to the top. *Also: being a winner of the entire season should count as a challenge win
The thing about sheas runways this season they were all amazing and conceptual but the fans would boot her cause they expected something Godlike from her however she had the best looks of the season not Blair I said what I said
Greatness. Excellence. The full package. Never once did I think anyone was gonna beat her. I’m a huge shea fan but I watched this season with a open mind to the others. Sheas runway looks, approach, presentation, personality , lipsyncs, all way up to the performances in the finale truly impressed me. When people say “ I expected her to do better” is really just People putting harder expectations on her than the others out of fear because that’s what people do to confident competitors, they wanna project doubt on them. Many people feel challenged or insecure when they witness someone who is truly great, like shea. No personal opinion, subjective/selective criticism or “fan made point system” can define true TALENT, the proof is in the puddin y’all. Shea ATE! Left no crumbs. Congrats to all and congrats to the RIGHTFUL, and ONLY winner. SHEA MF COULEE. 😌
I honestly don't think Shea's freakout look was her intended look. I mean she did something fun and out of the box for the 3-in-1 and was straight up called cheap and they came her for taste level. Like I'd tone it down too after that
