This woman should be revered and a model for environmental cause in the Philippines. She cares about the Philippines. Philippines should treasure her work -- YOU NEED TO LOVE THIS WOMAN.
The local government should help and support sanne's advocacy. She's done a lot of help on siargao's environment as well as 8MFH! Big thanks to you guys!!!🙏
As we say, "Think globally, act locally". Thank you for all you do. I'm so glad we have three filling stations in my area of Berkeley, CA. It has reduced my use of single plastic significantly. Baby steps!💚
Sannie ,she’s a long residence of siargao ,a watch her blog before ,but I don’t know what happened she stop blogging .if I don’t mistake she’s from Sweden .like you you’re almost four years in siargao story getting bigger,I love her skin we called morena .take care guys god bless .
Hi ❤ We got so busy focusing running our 6 community projects (Recycling Studio is one of them) so not enough time to create quality content for RU-vid.😅 Therefore we are so happy when friends like Jay, Sacha and Story comes and do what they are experts at; telling our story in motion form ❤
As a person that cares deeply about the planet and the environment, this makes me very happy. This is a project I would like to fully support. How much does she need to purchase more molds? I will continue to donate.I like this women. You can clearly see how passionate she is about the environment and the Philippines. The Philippines as an advantage over other countries less "red tape" As a person that has spent time navigating my own share of red tape, regarding my own environmental project, it can be very frustrating. Its people like her that inspires me to donate my own environmental project, skills and talent. Its really about children like Story that will make the biggest difference in helping the planet. I worry about climate change and the effects its going to have on peoples health especially the kids when they get older. It's something not many people are talking about.
We feel the same. Our core passion is always to protect our children and if we can find both emergency and longer terms way of protecting a planet they will live on we will keep trying 🥰 Each mold is around PhP 9,600 each plus shipping so approximately PhP 10,000 each. That said, any support is so, so helpful and help us keep going in taking steps forward ❤
This is a cool advocacy by Sannie,we should have this kind of advocacy all over the Philippines, especially Metro Manila, this will help our environment cleaner and provide jobs for our kababayans.
Sanne is amazing. She really cares for Siargao esp the environment. And Jay and Sarah helping her makes it more amazing. I'm in awe on how you are all doing so much to protect Siargao. I wish more people like you would do the same in every place they live esp. on the islands. Stay safe guys.. ❤
I 💯 agree on Sanne on her project regarding how to save the environment of my country Philippines 🇵🇭 I hope this project will implement not only in Siargao but the whole land and island in the Philippines. The dirtiest place that government needs to do action to clean are the following : all the river and all Slum areas. People who trash their garbages on the water should be responsible to clean their dump trash and penalized them as well. Singapore is one of the cleanest of the world. People should be disciplined in dumping domestic and food waste and trash. By the way thanks to Jay and Sacha in sharing this information.
The heat will not disappear in the Philippines or any island out there. You need to bring or use your umbrella each time you head out walking outside or strolling at the beach.
You don’t only love our country but help us too. Thank you for all that you do. You help educate us, move us forward, make us awake and make us conscious. Endless thanks to you all ❤🇵🇭
❤ This amazing work hope will have this recycling all over our country so that no more plastic trash in our place. Thank you for great content you all do ❤❤❤
Excellend recycling which can save the Oceans around Philippines! There`s also recycling in Camotes Islands which Pacijan island adds plastic to a sement making strong hollow blocks. Island has given already years ago some Swizz reward for protecting nature. So clean and pretty island even while comparing the neighbor island Poro, unfortunatelly. It depends of the attidude of islands mayors...
Thank you for helping our islands free from trash. It is a very beautiful initiative, which honestly shames many of us Filipinos who can't keep our own places trash free.
Out of the shredded material there are places that make pavers and leggo like bricks to build walls (fencing) also pegboard type sheets that you can hang hooks to storage planter pots (think green walls) off of. Also they make filament to use in a 3D printer where multiples of useful daily products to art objects can be made.
Cool thing what Sannie is doing for the island and who knows for the country. So excited for the future projects. All the best and thank you, 8 miles for sharing and being part of this.
i love this episode, thank you J, Sacha, Story and Sannes and everyone in the eco siargao art studio's hardwork for doing such advocacy, not only for the environment but also for the future generations as well.
Better if the workers or everyone inside the recycling studio would have a protective mask too so they would not inhale those micro plastics. Best of luck to the recycling studio!
Thank you for noticing and thinking of the safety of our crew 🙏 On regular basis we have fill protection gears like industrial masks, long sleeves and gloves ❤
Wow....I feel like going to Siargao. I was invited by France before to learn their environmental protection program. I failed to bring the practice home as it won't work here I think. Great learning for Story.
Good jod guys the way to recycle plastics ,, thanks for you mam for save Siargao to be clean iland...hope more people out their helping bring plastic garbace at you and to be keep clean surroundings😄😄👍💪💪👏👏🙏🫰🫰🏝️
Sanne is such an intelligent, kind and passionate person. She's basically amazing and I'm so honored that she settled in the Philippines and chose to help the people. We need to clone her. 😅
What happens to electrical trash. For example a ceiling fan or something that has an electric motor, those can be turned into an electric generator for a wind turbine. Obviously it's not going to be big but u can try a vertical wind turbine design. You need a battery to store that energy since the wind can be inconsistent.
maybe someday install 3D printer to produce drone parts or drone manufacturing and assembly forsale to Ukraine, if you can't import from china maybe from Vietnam or Mexico or other cheap drone parts exporting country, aluminom beer cans can be melted then turn into cooking caserole similar to a video reel frrom FB
When i visited siargao i was wondering why the local government seems doesnt take too much effort on keeping island clean, when the island is their main source of income, they should protect it in extensive manner yeah?
