But just trust us when we say you should see writer-director Andrew Haigh's film, and see it with someone else, because you're going to want to have a long conversation about it afterward. Andrew Scott gives a devastating performance as a writer who's stuck emotionally and creatively until he revisits his childhood home in suburban London. He also strikes up a romance with a neighbor, played by Paul Mescal, and the two have crazy chemistry. Co-starring a lovely Claire Foy and Jamie Bell. In theaters Dec. 22.
