He ran through the 200 tho. He gave that 500% effort. That indicates what kind of pace and strength he had. Going off that, he wouldn't have been in 9.58 pace/fitness for this 100.. the chest pump on took off fractions, and not enough to drop it down by that much. 9.58 is whole different beast to 9.69-9.63. Alot of person don't realize that the difference between those two time groups is not just mere steps or waving the hand. That time is whole culmination of an effort placed over 100m. In other words, the difference between those times isn't what is done at the end, but everything starting from the beginning.

That's blatantly false. Look up "Usain Bolt 2008 vs. 2009 split times" -- you can see he slowed down by .07 with the showboating, meaning he would've ran 9.62. If you want further evidence, look at his 200m times in 2008 vs. 2009; he was clearly in better shape in 2009. His 2008 200m was 19.30, and his 2012 200m was 19.32, and he ran 9.62 in the 100m that year, so the numbers confirm each other.

@@RobertSmurda Exactly. The 200m is the only race you need to see that he was not on the same form in '08 vs '09. In '09, even after the accident, he was still be better form. He ran his heart out for both those 200m, and the time difference sums it all up.

Under 9.5 is a stretch, would’ve been a high 9.5 again, he was already past his top speed by the time he celebrated but it would’ve been easily faster than 9.69 easily, celebrating doesn’t drop your time by more than 0.1 though since that’s a massive drop if you know about times in sprinting.

@sir_sack

@@lyric.x763 Well considering the fact that Jamaicans take full advantage of the 3 miss rule is pretty suspicious. An athlete can miss 2 random drugs tests in a row without being suspended, but it is highly advised not to miss any. And practically every Jamaican athlete will miss 2 drug tests, then test for 1, then miss 2, then test for 1, highly suspicious. And the Jamaican “testing facility” was shown to be a storage shed. I’m not singling out the Jamaicans because every country does it, but you can’t honestly believe that a large country like the United States can’t beat Jamaicans while the Americans are cheating and the Jamaicans are clean. Another thing is that they can’t really come out and say that Bolt was cheating all this time because it would ruin the sport. And answer me this, why did the 2008 Jamaican Men’s 4x100m team get disqualified?
