Its also one of the moves chamber's player uses to entertain themself preround (beside just rapidly swapping headhunter and sometime goes negative 150 cred)
I love how Omen lowers the weapon before saying, 'let's talk.' If he had kept the weapon raised while offering to talk, it would have felt much more threatening. Those details were deeply insane in the storytelling. Lovely.
I LOVE VALORANT CINEMATIC'S ART STYLE SO MUCH and I love Omen. This new agent looks amazing, I love how creative the abilities are but all of them definitely very useful too
Omen is always 1 step ahead it seems... Maybe because he used to do these kinds of hunting missions himself... But I really would have loved to see Kayo being the one to outsmart Vyse...
@@Tiosedan In Audio only, which is exactly my point... Kayo, Breach, Viper, Raze, and Reyna are destructive by nature, and so pose a serious threat to their surroundings, and civilians, and so are only sent on the most sensitive of missions... (This is partially confirmed through fan interactions with writers, at conventions etc.) That's why even when capturing Fade, Kayo was the last to enter... Even Breach entered at the very end (since Chamber was in an overwatch position, his entry was late just because of distance)... This potential holding back of these Fearsome 5, or the Kill Squad, as fans have put it, has left a lot to be desired... Imagine these 5 landing in a completely hostile area and mowing down enemies... I mean Nome of them are the kind to hold back... It would be pure mayhem...
I like how this cinematic demonstrated what her strong point is and how she should be played. By the looks of it, she is good with isolating the entry duelist from the rest of the team so that she can kill the entry without being traded. The cinematic also showed what agents are good to counter her. Yoru, Chamber, and Omen can bypass her traps or escape easily if they get trapped. Chamber can also use his abilities if he gets ulted. This cinematic comes with a lot of good tips.
@@ItsVektor yeah lets hope. I forgot to mention that her flash is there to give her the advantage after isolating the entry. She (Vyse) can put it on a wall behind her so when she is about to duel the entry the flash triggers. Vyse mains should be like chess players here. Thinking 4-5 steps ahead. Also, if Yoru clone triggers the wall and flash, he might be the bane of Vyse. Some things we need to find out immediately once this agent gets released are if the traps can be destroyed before they are triggered and can be detected when you are close enough especially the wall, and if the flash trap can be smoked.
1:29 Ma boy yoru got that sick entrance slide Edit: Yaw thx for the likes so here's a better comment: Our boy Yoru just pulled up to do the sickest entrance slide ever
Uhhhh, no one gonna mention how that was Seoul "Korea" not north or south? Yea you really couldn't get more obvious with this one tencent. Oh sorry, I meant..... riot.
Finally my boy YORU got some screen time in cinematic after a long time and no one is talking about how cool his entry was and the way he threw the vandal towards jett....
@@EmiDeltaThat’s so true. I don’t think Skye has been in ANY cinematic at all thus far, along with breach. Those two have been neglected man, hopefully they make an appearance soon.

Did anyone notice the little detail that all the agents selected for this mission are teleporters/fast action agents... They didn't select neon (cuz she's only fast on land, which would likely be trapped) and even reyna (because reyna doesn't like being ambushed and would definitely kill vyse before they could get any info from her... This was made clear when she hunts and tries to kill viper, and also when she kills Brim in the future)... Also this makes sense as Sage was debriefing them on Vyse which likely indicates that she and Brim knew of Vyse's supposed abilities... And so they chose particularly the agents best suited to counteract them... Maybe this is just me blowing smoke, but it doest seems like a coincidence in my humble opinion...
In the cinematic, we can see that Chamber uses an outlaw. Although Chamber normally prefers using his own guns compared to normal guns("These guns we use are okay but I will also bring my own. No offense"), he is okay with outlaw. In the battlepass playcard 'A Charming Outlaw,' we can see how he is satisfied with the outlaw after target practicing, so yeah, he tried out the new outlaw, liked it, so he took it to his next mission, and then the new agent disabled his and the other's weaponary. If he just used his own gun like he did back when capturing Fade, he wouldn't lose his weapon, but the frenchmen wanted to try something new...
0:16 Sage does have a close relationship with Omen, as shown in the Episode 6 trailer… So when she uses the words “some kind of monster” (to refer to Vyse) even though she knew Omen was listening and that such words would upset him, it just seems weird in terms of character consistency.

@@Arten_380 I didn't say they knew her, but sage said "the things she can do, she seems like a monster" that's pretty much give them an idea about the scope of her powers which are to entangle anything with metallic vines... And those agents are the only ones in the radiant program who can escape such a trap... That is aside from Kayo who maybe could suppress her completely, but they didn't know if such a suppression would harm Vyse, in any way... Plus they didn't want to show aggression, and only wanted to talk to her... That's why no one instantly pulled out their side pistols when their main rifles got suppressed...
@@gourabhaldar9942 Its not cannon, but the team of Breach, Viper, Kayo, Raze, and Reyna are considered as too destructive by Brim and Sage, that they are rarely ever sent out on missions... This is because they pose a serious threat to surrounding areas and civilians as well... Also they are kind of a kill squad, and Vyse wasn't an enemy as far as they knew... So they sent the agents to contain Vyse rather than kill her... Remember, even Reyna alone would be enough to kill any potential radiant... Vyse included...
@Kanda-fz4ft Omen heard monster and perked up unlike the others so I think hes more weary of monsters, since hes also a monster, so he just followed the mission to capture her and thats why he dropped the gun aftyer showing he can catch her off guard
@Kanda-fz4ft up until now, all the alternate earth agents are bad, and every agent from the original earth is "good". big " " there because the lore isnt complete yet and some agents like chamber have their own agendas
Love how Omen phases a bit at 0:17 on the mention of "monster", as in he's dealt with that state of being long enough that nothing is worse than that anymore.
Vyse's ultimate disables all primary weapon such as vandal phantom, and in the trailer we see omen using a sheriff (pistol) which was not caught by VYSE's ultimate ability. And she also used ghost (pistol). Really something cool that I found out.
Omen entered the scene AFTER Vyse used her ultimate. So he wasn't affected by it. But yes, the ultimate WILL jam your primary weapon, so you'll have to switch to your secondary weapon.
@@max.s5202it wasn't the fact that they could have used their ultimates, but just that they were a little surprised by her abilities... But as omen showed, they are at this point more than enough hardned to face enemies like her...
@@yesyesyesyesyesyes2021that wouldn’t make sense and it’d be too harsh on Chamber. He changed the meta for good and now it offers a lot more variety. Riot should be thankful lol, and they should buff Chamber
2020 Valorant:Jett being overpowered. 2024 Valorant:Kay/o and Vyse ult toghter at the same time, followed by someone getting kidnapped by deadlock and iso ult as well 🤯
I get ur point in his figure moving in that frame... But it's actually his body which immediately dematerializes as soon as he gets agitated or looses focus... He's the opposite of yoru and chamber in that he actually needs to focus all the time to keep his body in one piece... Hence all the lore about him knitting and caring for his bonsai trees... So he just got agitated as he's heard enough people call him a monster... While He's just a man on the inside dealing with huge loss...

VAL never has bad cinematics. I hope we get a show one of these days explaining the "dimensions" colliding and other parts of the lore. New agent looks siiick
No, cuz the wall works differently. It only activates when an enemy triggers it, it doesn't lift you, and i don't think it is thick enoguh for you to stand on it
Theory: she has to look at the weapons she takes, over the course of the trailer several characters/weapons glow and make a distinct noise, the same noise that happens before her supposed ult happens, also explains why omens sheriff wasnt taken The main reason i'm saying this is to say that she may be able to only take whatever weapon you have equipped when she spots you, making it so then this ulti basically stops a team on eco rounds completely, while making it less effective on bonus rounds noise/flashes here: 0:42 , 1:30 (you can also see an orb go towards her this time", 1:33 (you can see both a flash as well as an orb, although the orb isn't moving, during certain frames on chambers outlaw), 1:39 (same flash appears on Vyse when ulti activates)
@@1saamor897 probably tbh, but its still odd that the orb thing is there, maybe its a passive, like maybe her abilities refresh after her ult or it marks a target like a mini skye ult, allowing her to gather info effectively for site takes, like a cypher camera or kj turret can sometimes. either way im hoping its not just visual flare but an actual mechanic
I think more like range, she disable all weap(and i believe including weapon skill like jet knife or chamber hence why they're a choice for showing her powers) Omen not affected is pretty much just because he's not there before he now teleported
wow the end was amazing, today earlier i saw really good edit for 1:44 chamber just pulled out ult... it was really cool, but im just exided for the new strats and ideas people will come up with when vyse will be ingame
When you think about it, after Vyse knocks Jett out, she drags her to some open area, drops Jett's gun in front to be kicked away later. She probably notices the knife on her back, leaves it there, then just kinda stands around waiting for Jett to regain consciousness. All the while, Yoru, Chamber and Omen are probably just watching from somewhere.
riot never fails to generate hype for their new content, I love the night city with her glowing eyes her colours blend into the environment to shroud her really well.🦔❄
