I did a little digging for those wondering, and youd use the word pronounced "goda" for numbers ending in 1-4 and the word pronounced "lyet" for numbers ending in 5-9 or 0 like 30, 40, 50 etc.

I recently brushed my Russian skills too 😂 and here's what I got: лет / года -- year -- changes depending on the number that precedes. 1: год 2, 3, 4: года 5 to 20, or if it's more than 20, just read the unit (5 to 9 & 0): лет Examples: Ему 20 лет. He is 20 years old. Ей 35 лет. She is 35 years old. Мне сто два года. I'm 102 years old. Мне двадцать один год. I'm 21 years old.
