This game was definitely the best Pokemon game ever.

Why does everybody hate Gen5 and Unova? I'm desperate to go back there, because Black 2 and White 2 weren't remakes, they were just sequels. I'd love to see this region again, it's filled with so much variety, mystery and incredible different people and Pokemon. So, I just hope, that after Gen4 has gotten it's remake, that Unova will come alive again.

Gen 5 had so much heart and soul put into it. These games are art, GameFreak's magnum opus. And thus, they are forever the best games in the series, for me.

The orchestrations of these themes in the anime are just amazing! I found so many reasons to love this game when I played it and the anime when I watched it. Generation 5 was awesome, no doubt.

Man the gate theme. I remember. But my favorite is the route 11 theme. It just feels powerful, kind, beautiful, strong, and motivational.

Route 10 is probably my favorite route music from any Pokemon game. Only Route 113 from R/S/E and Route 209 from D/P/Pt come close.

Sinnoh has my personal favourite route themes, but I have to admit that Unova's came in a close second.

One of the best things about these Route themes (besides Routes 10 and 23) were that if stand still, the drums stops playing. The seasons adding their own instruments were also a fine edition.

Of all the Pokemon games, I think Gen 5 (Pokemon Black & White, Pokemon Black 2 & White 2) has the best soundtrack There is something special about the music in these games.

Just goes to show how good generation five was, all of these themes have four versions for each season!

DS soundfronts are really impresive

I like the instruments too! :D Route 4,6&16: double the previous comment and add some trumpet Route 6,7,8&9: feels more adventurous and grand. Route 10: soooooo relaxing. like a stroll in Paris or Italy (Kalos vibes) Route 11,12,13,14,15&18: feels more downtrodden than the others, with more bells Route 19&20: CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED, it's so good ( with some alola vibes lol ) Route 22: very heroic Route 23: Feels like battle music or hype music, like it's building up to something Gate: very chill, sound like menu music Bike: makes me wanna be active, it's super peppy and fun to listen to as well! Surfing: upbeat but also cute, me like:) I love this game

10, 11, 12, 13 ,14, 15 & 18 are the best in my opinion since it has a calm melody to listen too

The best route theme starts at 5:15

I can't possibly pick my favorite. Route 1 has that simple vibe like most early route themes, but the marimba really brings it out. Route 2 perfectly transcends from Route 1. It still has that simple and nostalgic vibe, but is a little bit more energetic, makes you feel like you're really starting to get somewhere. Route 4 almost drops the nostalgic vibe of the earlier routes and feels very adventurous. Route 6 is like a triumphant military march theme, yet at the same time it sounds perfect for a casual stroll through a sun shower in the woods. Route 10 is like something out of a Disney movie. Would be perfect for after the protagonist's best friend or family dies and they need to move on. Route 11 marks the next half of the region that you have yet to travel, and I think it conveys contentment with how far you've gone so far. Route 19 Goes back a bit, sounding nostalgic like the early route themes but still being triumphant. Route 22 is a full-on military jam as you march forward! Route 23 Sounds like something out of a medieval play, like an orchestra.

I genuinely believe that this game is too good to be called a GAME.In my opinion best pokemon gen and best game I have EVER played..

Anyone get loads of nostalgic listening to the gate theme? It's so beautiful, so peaceful, so full of escapism.

I love unova because it's so different and unique compared to all the other generations before it. The 3ds games did change alot, but black and white changed alot for the ds games.

Pokemon black 2 and white 2 are my absolute favorite pokemon games

this was my first poksmon now i love pokemon so i watch this so i can remember the music when i still had the game

Because I played B2 first, Eastern routes always gave me a feeling of mid-game and SOutheatern routes+route 1 were post game. They were so great. Plus I never realised Central and Western routes had different music.

Route 10 is fantastic, but I think Route 11 is a bit underrates. It sounds very magical.

HGSS Did a Good Job at Foreshadowing Gen 5. Route 47 in HGSS looks like a route theme straight from Unova. Unova Stans and Johto Stans,Let's Team Up!

Route 21/22 is breathtaking, I wish it was in both games

Now that Sinnoh remakes are over with, Gen 5 remakes ARE NEXT Y'ALL. BUT I'd rather it be in SwSh style & have the soaring feature like Oras. Just imagine FLYING over UNOVA with Zekrom/Reshiram. Damn I want this so bad 😭.

What's my favorite route theme in Unova? Err.... I dunno. All of them? (In all seriousness, it's a tossup between route 4 and route 10, with routes 11, 19 and 2 as close runner-ups.)
