Note: a lookalike of the generic stick figure that appears on the "O" of "Pop Tarts" in the early commercials (that says crazy good) appears In Stuck (NEW peanut butter Pop Tarts)
It's not just the French Toast Pop tarts I would've tried back in 2004 during my childhood as a young little boy, but it's also the Mint chocolate chip Pop tarts that I also would've liked back in 2006 too.
I read on Twitter/X last night that, William "Bill" Post, the inventor of Pop Tarts, passed away at the age of 96. May he forever be... (ta-daaaaaaaaah) "CRAZY GOOD!"
Small update: As of late 2023, the animated Crazy Good campaign was “revived” again, although it now centers around CGI animated Pop Tarts whose destiny is to be eaten, unlike the Pop Tarts portrayed in the previous ads, who would run away from the antagonists or succumb to their traps. R.I.P. CRAZY GOOD POP TARTS (2004-2008, 2012-2018)
Soooo, I need to clarify something. I removed the original Pop Tarts Crazy Good video because I decided it was dumb to overuse the dramatic music. So this video is the version without the dramatic music because I also wanted to keep the ads authentic in case any (and I do mean any) of them become “lost media”.
28:21 Blue raspberry: it time for you to be gone >:( Vanilla milkshake: *gasp* ummm hi? *Loud bite* Narrator: the ninja is vanilla milkshake but he gone, learn about blue raspberry only at poptarts website, ask your parents permission *Crazy good*
That’s funny, you mentioned this, because aqua teen hunger force made a pop tart commercial - the snacks rapping then becoming an inanimate once eaten. Hoped too much believing the “crazy good” kid, would guest star an appearance.😂
Been meaning to ask this, but if the Pop Tarts are sentient beings in these commercials, does that make the kids and other sentient Pop Tarts that eat them cannibals?
I read an article from mid 2018, that involved a then new Crazy Good featuring Brent Rivera, and the article said that the animated Crazy Good ads weren’t attracting the Pop Tarts’s current target audience: that being teens. The animated commercials have since been replaced with the live action ads. I even put a disclaimer at the beginning of the video saying that I didn’t include any of the live action ads (from mid 2018 onwards), despite those ads still using the Crazy Good slogan. Thats because fcc made it impossible for them to air on over the air after 2008 or around that time as I used to watch kids wb and 4kids tv. More teens were cord cutting around 2012-2018 when it came back so they couldnt see disney xd or cartoon network where they aired now.
@@justphillips170 Interesting. I always thought they dropped these ads because they were running out of ideas (they'd been running those commercials for 14 years at that point!) and becoming repetitive. I also had no clue their target demographic was teens. I could have sworn people from all age groups loved Pop-Tarts. Oh well. At least I got to grow up with their best "Crazy Good" ads.
