@@Geographypunk-111 My idea of why and how Poseidon from 2005 have capisized is: Modern Cruise ships are prepared for Cross Flooding: Left comp. sinks and to make left list less they sink right one. There was also said that they are going to the starboard side(right) engine room so these engine rooms are seperated by a door like that. So idk how, there are many options(like bc of Storm, by terrorists) these doors were closed. Also stabilizers were hiden bc they wanted to go fast. So it happens: -bomb explodes on the port(left) side -water floods some food storage and preparing areas on the port side, also probably there is some damage in ballast tanks -Martin spots the ship slowly tilting "The ship is sinking" -water gets to more open port areas, ballast tanks only makes it worse -ship with a lot of water, people, no stabilizers and things falling capisize -it does is faster and faster bc of all weight on port and ship losing its stability, and by that changing its metacentric height -ship is turned over -water that ship have collected Goes into some corridors and areas above and below the water level(that is why some corridors have water even if there is no visible flooding) -windows, doors and other holes breaks under the preassure, gets more water. Ballroom finally gives up. The window(that half is located on the lifeboat deck(yes, I know some basic placement of the rooms, i studied it)) breaks-the giant air bubble just floods -ship sinks flat -after some time ship sinks by bow maybe beacose of anchor pockets or a lot of balconies
