this was actually fucking insane from Abe...if he just started guessing like 10-15 seconds more i think he could have actually pulled the entire Death Note MC vibe off
If the roles were "grayed out" for the ones you already guessed, maybe it would have been easier for Abe to visualize what was left to choose from. But still, very impressive nonetheless.
I don’t think it would work that well since, depending on the roles selected, players may have their roles change throughout the game or there may be an unknown number of players with the same role.
I think they should just make it so the roles that aren't possible in the game settings aren't there cluttering the screen and leave the rest to the player to remember and figure out.
@@danielshe07 "the guessed role is grayed out" nothing advantage here, it's just a remainder for guesser to visualize more easily It's not like who died is grayed out so u have more chance to not miss guess
That was incredibly amazing yet scary, that would be a legendary clip if Abe wasn't stressing on guessing corpse at the end and he could've won if he voted skip. But nice job Abe!
And tbh everyone in the beginning of the meeting was voting for abe and corpse intentionally voted himself that was 5head play there...... And after that abe killed everyone and if corpse wouldve voted for abe it wouldve been something else ig
No, abe is actually a very smart person. He almost always make great plays and often outplays toast. He is the one who always pulls out a plot twist win, but sometimes he thinks too critically and comes up to a wrong conclusion.
Probably not but if it will people in the lobby would probably say "they're pulling off an Abe"... Like what happened later on when Sykunno told everyone to expose their roles Leslie just said "no I don't want to get Abe'd"
And Corpse was really great at hiding he's jester, because normally Jester would try to get sussed out, which would give away that he's jester to impostor. But Corpse didn't go with that and just stayed unsus till the end of the game... I think if the "Abe incident" didn't happen. Corpse strat would be to wait until there's only 3 people left
@@EpicTacoSenpai no what I meant is most Jesters would try to get voted out on the first or second round... Corpse wanted to wait till the end... Yeah it kinda happened like that but I think Corpse was trying to pull off what Toast did in his greates jester play of all time video
@@jartalol31 I think it was more the pressure than corpse throwing abe off. There were only a few seconds left and it was literally 7v1 where abe guessing everybody. If you're gonna call corpse near, then you also need to call tina mello as they were literally a tandem.
He could've made a last second decision when Corpse said "Tina vote me" 😂 but I think he was just too focused on figuring it out that he either didn't think about his words or didn't realize it till too late.
Corpse intentionally said that last second since he knew that the moment he said it, Abe would guess him, but he still needed Tina's vote to secure a win. Big brain by both players, unlucky for Abe though.
@@Clintosaurus For gamers, 4 seconds is plenty. We should have quick eye movement due to training playing games. I found Jester within a split second because it's color coordinated and it was easy to separate the red from the pink. If he thought about the words carefully just double click Jester. He plays Valorant. He has the reaction speed, but as I already mentioned he was still trying to figure it out.
I watched this happen live on Sykkuno’s stream and I was so freaked out that Abe had so many of them dropping like flies. I was also a bit confused as to why he decided to wait so long to guess more people out let alone just start shooting more than two people during a meeting. I love how you can hear Corpse saying “Abe’s the Evil Guesser.” He must have been in a panic to try to get himself voted out to get his Jester win not knowing if Abe would guess his role before he had the chance. It’s so funny to see Abe’s perspective of this and realize he was freaking out more than everyone else in this group, LOL!
I was watching Lud’s stream when this happened, bro I freaked. This is genuinely one of the best Among Us plays of all time, even though he didn’t QUITE seal it out. Like Corpse said, man he deserved that win.
If you read Death Note till the end, you will screaming how this situation between Abe and Corpse is so fuckin similar with the climax scene of Death Note (Kira's comeback and then killing spree then L's death)
Lawyer can't see their client's role, that's the reason why she was clueless. Unless she is like 5up, Toast, Corpse, etc. when instant guessing someone.
@@naqibdaik7241 From Tina's pov you can see a little symbol next to corpse name telling her that he was her client. The same thing happened to ludwig when he was lawyer. Fuslie and toast had symbols next to their names. I'm not sure if this is true though it's just what I noticed.
@@aaeshz7196this guy (Ashna Sudhi) above me ^ already explain it. That symbol just shows who was the client, but it doesn't tell the client's role. Anyone who has followed Sussy Sunday from the very start would already know that Toast explains how Lawyers work. The only reason some players seamlessly made it look like perfect lawyer gameplay is because they guess their client's role quickly. An example will be Corpse with Blau(?), he after knowing that his client was a Jester he proceed to make the client look guilty.
he was on the verge of gueeing corpse as lawyer i oculd tell. but yeah if he had just stopped freakin out boi he would caught him saying vote me and killed him as jester. so close abe but i stsill give it to abe regardless
In that moment, as the voting screen ended and Abe saw that corpse voted for himself, he could have still guessed jester on corpse. Other than that, damn. Another 5head play by Abe!! I’m reminded of his uno reverse card on John at the height of Among Us last year
No, he can't use his ability once the votes are revealed. He could have guessed when Corpse told Tina to vote him, but there was too little time left, and he panicked.
this imposter round was so frustrating to watch when i saw it live (rae’s pov) but as soon as this happened it all made sense LMAO amazing play from abe!
he only know there's a lawyer left but unsure what's the other one. its 50-50 shot. if it wasnt for the time pressure he could've get it. at that moment he has two choice, to take the 50-50 gamble or simply skip or vote out someone. and kill one person at the next round if its a tie. its really unfortunate (or fortunate, depends on who you root for) that corpse is a jester.
Corpse said, lud vented. Lud said, yes but how can you see me, it was dark. With this information he should know that only the jester with nightvision was left.
@@frigom3651 yea.. Like i said its time pressure, i imagine its like playing chess, when you're running low on time, your brain turned to mush, you cant really think clearly. If corpse wasnt jester, both of them would vote for abe right? He couldve won by guessing 50-50, or even skip, but yea.. Time pressure panic, he didnt even do anything in the end.
I was really wondering who would have won if Abe killed himself guessing Tina or Corpse since all Crewmates were death and both were neutral roles and Corpse wins by getting voted out and Tina when Corpse wins. But the game ends immediately when all killers are dead so the jester can't get voted out but don't want to survive either and usually crew wins if the former lawyer survives after their client died and they became the Pursuer but since the client (Corpse) isn't dead Tina isn't a Pursuer and both win conditions aren't fulfilled.
Idk why but the scene where L from death note, was writing down names, while eating chips to hide his agenda from the cops just popped out when that happened
@@kaito8919 ru-vid.com/group/PLLGT0cEMIAzcd5XagsMwz22-NFPmToKIP If you go to the “Playlists” section, there should be this playlist in there, showing his past vods. They’re unlisted, so you can’t see them, only with a link, but he probably keeps them so it won’t clutter with his RU-vid videos.
I reckon if there was an extra five seconds, Abe could've guessed Corpse as Jester when he said "Tina vote me" but holy shit, absolutely phenomenal play
Nah, corpse waited until the last second before he said tina vote me. Corpse would only say that during the last second when there's barely enough time for abe to process and pick jester
@@ardel-4964 he said it about 7 seconds before the timer. you can hear it but abe couldnt hear him over himself freaking out because he wasnt listening to them just trying to figured it out
Was watching this live and it was insane. I've seen so many games where Abe just doesn't pay attention or is saying all the wrong things so watching this was shocking to me XD
That was great to see all the individual reactions! I had to watch over and over one at a time. If Rae had thought about it, she would have realized him doing it to, at most, two people earlier would have only delayed her demise by a round at most and may have only served to confirm her guilt. She couldn't really enjoy his feat because, as his partner, she was voted out much earlier. But the best was Toast's increasing admiration for him which didn't go away when it didn't work out in the end.
I read a comment on another video that it was because Rae sacrificed herself to get engineer and lighter revealed, but Abe didn't guess them. I could see why that would annoy her, but Abe was playing the long con.
Well, she was shocked when he guessed Wendy as Mayor but I think she was just annoyed that Abe wasn't guessing anybody that whole round until this moment.
Rae had a lot of caffeine and also was little annoying that Abe didn't tied the voted when she was voted out and guessed Ludwig and brooke when they say their role
I literally feel SO bad still for Abe because of Corpse's robbery at the end. He had EVERYTHING and was robbed because Tina refused to vote Abe when it was giga obvious that it was him and Corpse voted himself.
Tina was Corpse's lawyer, so she voted him when he said to, or got confused and didn't vote at all. He knew she was his lawyer that's why he told her not to vote in the beginning
I wonder what would've happened if abe actually just killed himself on a wrong guess at the end. it would've literally been just the jester and his lawyer alive. does the crewmates win? since jester "has" to win by dying..
the fact that corpse already figured out that abe is evil guesser so he just stay silent and dont be so obvious is just outplay there. Typical corpse tho, he figured out how to win. Even when he managed to make crewmate used all meeting button to win.
I bet Abe has flashbacks of “Tina, vote me! Tina, vote me! Tina, vote me!” Highlighting that corpse was jester and was the last kill Abe needed to win.
Toast: kill 3 people as a medic and save one person from a curse in one meeting Abe: killed 5 people in one meeting. The best crewmate and potential best imposter gameplay
Because Abe does not know what roles are left, he did not know if there is a jester and ASSUMES both crewmates would voted him. So in his mind during this chaotic moment, he thought the only way he can win is to guess all the way, thinking his vote would not have mattered. But only the viewers know Abe is up against a jester and has a chance to tie to vote.
@@JaySjx if he had more time he might have realized that it had to be a neutral left, since he knew there was a lawyer but the game didn't end once it was down to 3 so the lawyer couldn't have been on his side
Abe killing almost everyone else was the absolute climax of the story, and then Corpse revealing himself to be the Jester and then winning was the plot twist. This was an amazing Among Us round.
Not sure I understand why he hesitated so long on the last thing... He said there was a lawyer left and had 50-50 chance. I guess he didn't know for sure a lawyer was left, but same goes for knowing if the jester was left, so as soon as he identified a role that was def in the game he shoulda just pulled trigger. But hindsight is 20-20, I'm sure that was crazy stressful in his shoes and can't ask for much more than that wild clip
Wel, he immediately went to Corpse because he was running out of time, and Abe knew Corpse was not acting like a lawyer. I think if he went to Tina, he would've considered her as the lawyer and shot her. So tragic
i didn't watch the whole gameplay, but It'd be a lot easier for him to skip the meeting though. i'm not sure whether he ruled out the possibility of a jackal (if there are kills unaccounted for) or an arsonist (i doubt arsonists get a lawyer since they would need to douse them in gasoline as well)
@Sien Wei Yeah but Tina had her vote given back to her after Abe killed who ever she originally voted. So worst case for Abe is he skips corpse votes himself as he did and Tina realises she has her vote back and votes corpse since he’s her clients. So even skipping wasn’t foolproof and still coulda lost him the game if Tina was on the ball.
@@sienxwei If the skip had happened he would've won through killing maybe or have more time to guess. It wasn't foolproof in the sense that tina might've voted in time but I think if abe was quiet and calm he might've been able to react fast enough and picked up the clues from what Corpse was saying.
