You admire JJ Rawlings for his what? Integrity and Anticorruption ?? For real? He's pretentious and never an anticorrupt. He ended up amassing wealth together with his wife more than what he purported those had stolen. He however had his positives, that i won't downplay

J J later became the most corrupt leader in Ghana. He held Ghana to a standstill for 19 years.

Kotoka was never the head of government but part of the NLC. Ankrah was head from 1966 when the coup took place till 1969 when he was forced to resign. Kotoka was killed in April 1967.

@Yaw Djin Well said bro Truth be told most of our generation has been polluted by the older ones who talk as if Rawlings was the devil incarnate but if he had been so incompetent how could he have stayed in power for 19 yrs. Those leaders that the older generations glorify are the leaders who were backstabbing each other after only a few years in power just to increase their own power. Had Rawlings been as bad and corrupt as they say wouldn’t he have been overthrown about 10 years into his rule by an angry population. To me it seems that the older generation just want a man to blame for all the problems of a country which has been accumulating since the overthrow of Kwame Nkrumah.

Rawlings betrayed the nation, he betrayed the very ideals behind June 4th... Why kill some people for overthrowing a constitutionally elected Government, then you turn round and also overthrow a legitimate Government?

@@Governor1935 that was the 1980’s and coups were happening all over the world. Go and check what some of those African dictators did and u realise that Rawlings was a godsend to Ghana

The AFRC handed over power to lihman after he was elected as president.... So why did Rawlings come back again to overthrow lihman, someone the people had voted for....
