Good addition to the story that was not in the OG, she was a fan favorite in CC. And it goes with the story. If Cissnei were to find out Sephiroth kills Aerith she'd want to join Cloud to honor Zack.
To be fair, Cissnei at least knows not to say his name in front of Aerith in this context, because she basically has to do double duty clarifying that she wasn't one of his girls in a different port. That might be harder to explain if she clarifies that she's essentially camping his hometown to wait for him.
@@darryl7803 Tifa didn't camp out and set up 7th Heaven in Gongaga waiting for Zack - her mentioning that she had seen him briefly on one mission isn't likely to earn Aerith's anger.
Also,I can't specifically recall Cissnei meating Cloud. I know she came close physically, but she only ever saw Zack while Cloud was tucked away somewhere.
@@AntiDoctor-cx2jd Pretty sure she sees Cloud the moment before she chooses to relent against Zack, because she sees the condition Cloud is in as to understand why she should back away and let Zack and Cloud through that one time.
@@AntiDoctor-cx2jd I think I'd agree with @reaganlionel - it's her joke that she knows *why* he can't remember, but by saying it the way she did, she's implying that he *should* remember. Like the Street Fighter: The Movie quote "For you, it was the worst day of your life; for me, it was Tuesday.". Arguably, that *was* the worst day in Cloud's life - but for him, he didn't even know what day it was when he met Cissnei. Also, probably a meta joke about the fact that because she's a Crisis Core OC, she's not in FF7 original...because they wouldn't know to have added her in that game.
That ending dialogue was really interesting and I do not know what to think about it. Cissnei: This world of ours is about to change. That's not my gut talking. The writing's been on the wall for a while now. And there's nothing we can do to stop what's coming. Aerith: I bet you could, if anyone. It's either writers' reference that part 3 will be really different and Cissnei will have some bigger role there. Or it is reference to something, i don't know. Really curious about it. Cissnei: That's sweet. You now, I think I see it now. What he saw in you. Yeah.. Well it will be probably that Aerith is personification of hope.
@@montecristosmith2343 my reply was to the comment that said he doesn’t remember him “ at all” during that quest. I didn’t say anything about the accuracy of his memories, just that the quest could be done before or after he remembers him. However, even if she did tell him it would just make him grab his head or something
@laserbeamlightning Aerith and her are the hottest to me too. Tifa is cute, curvy and I love her outfit. And Yuffie is adorable. But they just made Aerith and Cisseni very beautiful.
What quest is this? I don't think I got this. I certainly never managed to talk to Cissnei about THIS. I've looked through the comments and your answers, but the last quest I had was a Cissnei one but it was the soup quest. Is this a post-game quest or something? Because I haven't finished the game yet. But I have finished until Cosmo Canyon, almost finished Nibel too. So…
This is the last quest you’ll get for Gongaga region. Not 100% with it but I believe you have to do all the quests in Gongaga and all the protorelic locations completed. Then you’ll get a final quest back at the village. Hope it helps
@@cellisch3753 Touché, they wouldn't, but Cissnei could discretely ask Cait Sith if there's been any further fallout from "the Z Incident" or something.
He is dead...in this timeline. What I find strange is how so many people knowing him (Yuffie, Cloud, Tifa, Cissnei) yet no one says his name or confirms he is dead in front of Aerith, ever.
@@MrDiomedes1977Tifa doesn’t know what happened to him after the events in nibelheim and was actually helping Aerith find any clues as to what happened to him. Cloud still has his memories all jumbled up and thinks Zack died during their mission in nibelheim. And after he told Tifa she knew that wasn’t the case and told Aerith about it. Which just furthered them thinking Cloud is going crazy. I don’t think Yuffie actually knew his name and just knows him as “that soldier guy I used to run into sometimes” And Cissnei is just being cryptic on purpose for some reason. The other 3 have valid reasons for not saying his name or not being able to confirm that he died. And Cissnei is just Cissnei.
@@KingDontre I take Cissnei's deal as fanservice. In terms of how this scene can play out, "Who are you really?" seems like the most candid "canon" one since it doesn't spill the beans about Zack at all and keeps the party at arm's length.
