Going this year with my hubs, Aunt and at least 1 cousin...all quilters. I live about 40 miles or so from the venue so I try to go as often as possible and boy has it grown over the years from the first one I attended in a hotel ballroom! Will look for the Craftsy booth while we're there...love your show!!
Glad to see new videos out. I'm a trucker that quilts at night when the kids go to bed and watch these as I'm getting things together to get quilting. Started quilting with my mom and after she passed I started quilting again as a way to deal with loosing her. Keep up the great work.. thanks for the show
I am fast approaching 60 and I have finally found a soulmate. After trying many quilting projects, all of which are not quilted, because I didn't feel I could do it or I would not do the quilt justice I have found you. Your demos are awesome. When I see this quilt it reminds me of the Wonder Woman symbol, I think of it as Angela's Wonder Woman Quilting Symbol, beautiful quilt! Love the pace of your videos, clear and to the point. You make it all look easy Angela!

Angela, I absolutely love your show!!! I also love your sense of humor, you crack me up!! I have been a quilter for over 20 years and for Christmas I got a baby lock crown jewel 111 just 2 days ago!! It's a dream come true for me! I've been practicing for over 6 months on how to make designs with the long arm. Thank you for all your inspiration and knowledge about quilting! Your amazing!! I am from Australia and just happened to visit dear friends in Houston at the same time of the Quilt Festival last year - how coincidental was that!! They took me for a drive to a small town called La Porte which has this fabulous quilt shop. We were just about the only customers until a busload of women pulled up and piled into the store - wouldn't you know it they were all Australians. Aussie quilters visiting Texas, it was like a reunion. Keep up the good work - you are such fun and I look forward to your videos.

Another beautiful (and easy) quilt to put together, Angela. I love your designs! Like Nonnie, I don't buy precuts, but I can make my own layer cake of 10" squares from my stash! I won't be going to Houston this year, unfortunately, although I've attended twice in the past. Have a blast! I look forward to the new season of quilts and laughter!

You have encouraged me to go to the Houston Quilt Festival after watching your video at the quilt festival. We have been raising my step-daughters children and the youngest will be off to college next year (2020). Going to Houston in 2020 will be a gift to myself then after go to Dallas to see my sister and niece and her family. So excited. Love your videos and encouragement to try free motion quilting. I am so excited you are coming to the Houston Quilt Festival in November. I live in Houston and the flooding from Hurricane Harvey was horrible so I'm excited the Quilt Festival is still scheduled. It's the little things that make us happy!
LOVE this quilt top ... I do not have precuts but I do have bins upon bins of TONE on TONE FABRICS in multiple colors ... TIME to hit my stash. Love simple dynamic quilts
I’m currently making this quilt, and to change it up a bit, for all of the half square triangles I used black instead of white. It adds another layer of interlocking squares to the overall design, but isn’t noticeable until the quilt is complete!
Angela, you are so fun! I love your tutorials. You're so very informative. I've just used your hooked swirls to fill the borders of my latest quilt and was feeling so 'Zen' while doing that.... such a relaxing design. you are really an inspiration :)
I love this quilt. It has so many design possibilities by turning the blocks although I really, really like your choice. I haven't decided whether I'm going to Houston Festival or not yet.

Congrats on going to the Houston quilt festival. It is a wonderful show. I cannot believe that Houston manage to still hold this years show with hurricane Harvey aftermath. I am glad the show must go on. I loved your quilt today. It is definitely a pattern I will be planning on making. Have fun at the show.

I made this using Christmas fabrics for my mother in law and she loved it! It was only my second quilt and although it wasn’t perfect, I enjoyed the process and am going to make the scrappy star quilt next. Thanks for your positive and encouraging attitude! I love your show!
I love the Midnight Quilt Show you make things look so easy. I love putting tops together and I am bravely starting to think free motion is in my grasp. I am so afraid of messing up a top I have spent time putting together. I would love to be in Houston for the show, but I'm in the UK so not possible. Have a treat time.

When I use the magic 8 method I like to finger press instead of marking corner to corner. Saves me a lot of time. Thanks for this video Angela! I love the pattern and it will be purrfect for a layer cake I've been saving! Cheers!

Oh, no, not another "must do" quilt! Angela, I love this design, and think I'll move it up to the top of my to do list . . . or maybe after the one in progress for my 3rd great grandchild (1st boy) due in February! Your RU-vid show is so fun to watch - - just don't need too many more projects, so I, personally, am glad you're taking some time off so I can get some more quilts done before you come up with another winner. Angela, every time I watch the entry to your show and the glass letter breaks.....I think of Carol Burnett's show years ago....IF you redo the intro, put a caricature of your self at the bottom where the glass breaks....with you sipping wine ! That would be soooo cute !
J D it was crazy here for awhile but it is getting back to normal for some of us. Others aren't that fortunate. I lost my car and a little damage to my home. However I am blessed.
I never keep scraps!! I have a basket that I throw them all in and give them to local Quilt Guild. I love the quilt. After watching this I think I just might try it myself. Thank you for all your tips. As always! 😀👍
Oh I can't wait till the Houston Festival. I had some comp days coming at work and my boss offered to let me use them last month and I said oh no I'm saving them for the quilt show. He said all of the comp days? I said yes sir the whole week. I hope I get to meet you Angela. Thanks Bekka
