Almost caught up with the build list, not quite yet though! Sorry if you've got a build for me, I promise I'll get there eventually! What do you guys think of the Mill? Both for game balance and just generally, lemme know!
I love the Mill on both teams! It's pretty balanced to me with the number of basement exits available for victims and the routes that the family can patrol. I just wish it had some unique escapes or mechanics -- here's hoping for the next map Gun brings us!
not good. map is too big and the valve spawn at the top of the mill is problematic, especially with danny existing. you'd think that they'd learn after slaughterhouse. the generator side is also particularly difficult to patrol, with a giant wall and los blockers inbetween the two gates. i perfectly understand why people dodge it, but i dont care enough to personally. also a minor annoyance, but the fuse exit is misleading. theres two wells next to fuse that look like theyd take you right next to the fuse exit, but they actually leave you much further away.
Mate you did great for first times on mill as usual. You should be 10k subscribers just because of your edits for the type of game and who you're playing as & against.
thanks a lot! It might be just because its fresher, but it feels like I get extra lost in this map compared to Nancy's House when it came out, its fun though!
The game never really explains it, but as long as you're "in shadows", so if you've used the perk Sanguine Shadows or Cover Recovery, it's the same situations they activate, you can also crouch walk unless grandpa's level 4 or 5. Its a bit niche but can come in handy if you're trying to make every second count! It's been in the game since the start, but its really situationally useful, its definitely nice to know though!
yeah its rough right now, door slams have been glitchy since forever, I'm guessing its probably a latency thing so unsure if it'll ever work fine. slamming with gates is a complete guess if it'll work or not too
Personally I think that Mill is very confusing and hard to get around in, even as the family. But your commentary really helps as I made and achievement myself which was finally escaping as a victim from the mill!
will do! I only have 3 left but I want to clear my list completely. I don't want people waiting forever like the current ones have been, thanks for the patience :D
Hey stepha I got a Leland build that I use Perks: Grappler, Agitator, and Efficient Grappler Attributes: get toughness to 42 get 42 endurance and leave the others base (It’s a fighting/distracting build 😃)
as long as you're "in shadows" you won't be detected by grandpa unless he's level 4 or 5. slow walking in bushes counts as this so you're ok to move. Easiest way to tell if you can move when he's screaming is by using Sanguine Shadows or Cover Recovery, they only activate when you're in shadows, so if the perks lit up, you know you can move safely. Its a bit niche but can save you a few seconds!
I looked it up early on because I thought it was weird that level 4 grandpa notification mentions tracking in shadows active, and I had no idea what that meant. It's handy to know sometimes, but barely ever comes up, so a lot of people don't know, and the game never explains it for some reason!
