@AnonRymal well..to be honest they didnt fail..they were a huge hit of their time...spice girls was big too but everyone has their timeline.All Saint's debut album was one of their best albums with quite a few hit singles. The 90s was definitely the boy bands/girl group era...music usually come in cycles.
Best ever female group; made the Spice girls (apart from Ginger, Geri) look like and sound very much second class. Pure class, unique and 'sexy'. I just love to play their music over and over.
What invalidates your opinion is that you excluded from the Spice Girls "Ginger Spice" who couldn't sing or dance and didn't exactly have a classy style (was provocative and uninhibited instead). It seems you don't know Spice Girls at all. I think they're too different to be compared and both are good in their own ways. Of course Spice Girls are in the lead. They had an original formula that other girl groups eventually copied. It was five different tones, different looks, a solid vocal trio, a talented iconic singer (Mel C), the life of the party (Mel B) a spokesperson (Ginger) and so on. Spice Girls are the archetype of a Girl group.

Heres some FACTS for YOU. Mel is French. Shaz is Jamacian and the sisters are Canadian! No one was kicked out, they all decided to disband for a while cuz they were not getting along! Both sisters are married to the brothes from Oasis! who are not a metal band.
