The problem with Maddie having a million and one solos makes them all look the same sometimes. Same with Chloe in some cases. (Obviously NOT their faults)
I definitely wouldn't put Applause so low. When she actually nails the turns that's definitely one of her best solos. Regardless of the turn bobble is was really good ,the choreography was great and so was her energt
nope, it was season 5, there were/was a perfect score(s) for solos that season and a lot of dancers had an emotional breakthrough. this is jst my opinion !!

Down to the river is very underrated, Nia's costume was beautiful, the song was catchy, Nia's facial expressions were good, The fact that the technique was not perfect does not take away all the good things that I have just mentioned.
@@abbythings that's obvious since the team had prodigies like Savannah, Elliana, Brady and Lily. Sarah, Gianina, Hannah and Pressley were also so advanced, but Abby couldn't really choreograph to their strenghts.
@@abbythingsall the season 8 solos were very boring to me except for black widow that’s it and yes the season 8 solos were better technical wise but the earlier solos have a connection and are very entertaining and plus I don’t like season 8 and yes the season 8 team all came from better studios that’s why there technique is better but at the same time there group dances are boring and there is no connection when they dance together and they don’t dance sometimes as a team more like a soloist and plus when they dance I feel nothing

People opinions change all the time to the difference for the maddie solos and also this is based off their opinions so they might not like fool me once, lucky star and birthday that much

God, I mean nia had like 4 or 5 solos at season 4 and she showed that she could be at top 3 just one time she isnt got a place and kendall had a lot of solos more than nia and she always was like 9th 5th or something like that, I think abby didnt gave the same oportunities to all the girls, just saying
My top 10- *Game of Love* *Out of my mind* *Lucky star* loved the solo, I just feel like Abby beat all of the passion out of chloe by season 4, and it showed, especially in her technique (being a dancer myself makes it more noticeable) which is in NO WAY chloes fault, and all Abby and the producers’ *cone to the caberet* *Timeless* *swan solstice* (I’m sorry I love Kalani but I found both of her s4 solos incredibly boring and didn’t showcase her skills enough, especially compared to solos like fragile forest) *unless you say sorry* *birthday* *into me* *happiness* And *FOOL. ME. ONCE.* I fell in love with everything in this dance by Maddie. I’m a huge fan of Maddies dancing especially because of the emotion, many people think that emotion just lies in facial expressions (which BY THE WAY need to be exaggerated so the judges can see & make out, since they don’t see the dance through a camera that is 3 inches away from her face like we do on the show, so when people say ThEy LoOk FaKe, it’s clear they’re not a competitive dancer) but emotion is also important through body language, agression in movement, pace and sharpness, which Maddie is a MASTER of by season 4. I think kalani is also absolutely amazing at this, but her solos really don’t show it in season 4. But it really shows by later seasons, especially 6&7. 💓 I’m not a master dancer, and I’m by far not in any position to say anyone is bad, which they’re not, but I’m just giving my perspective. A dance isn’t all about technique and precision, but it’s also about the sheer performance, which is why many people find maddies dancing more mesmerising and better than chloes dancing in season 4, because Chloe was beaten down and exhausted from the way she was being treated, whereas Maddie still has a drive and a passion for dance, which chloe was lacking.
Christi did not sign the aldc contract for s4, Chloe did not take classes there. But because of the show, she had to be there, and Abby absolutely exploited her through that situation. The psychopath was laughing when she said in an interview that "someone couldn't leave the show because of lifetime's contract, so they were locked in and wouldn't be able to leave however she tortured them, and so she did". She went out of her way to hurt poor Chloe

I get that it’s your opinion and all but truth be told, the “Fool Me Once” solo was extremely overrated, there was really nothing special about it, Happiness imo was her best solo of the season along with Birthday.
that's actually crazy to see maddie, chloe,kendall and kalani had so many solos and then PAIGE had only 1 that's so unfair to be honest, if PAIGE had they're same opportunity especially maddie she could have been the best dancer but no she was so underrated :( :( I FEEL SO SAD FOR PAIGE

I think Maddie’s solos should all be higher than Mackenzie Chloe and Kendall. They don’t compare to the other dancers here except kalani. Earlier seasons of chloe were better. I think goodbye maya is very overrated and I dont see anything special about that piece.

My top ten solos 1 baby mine, come at me with cry is better I don’t care I like it. 2 Manhattan, and yes I’m aware she wore the same costume in angel 3 dance doctor, she had so much sass! 4 city of angels. If her foot was better and Abby believed in Paige a bit more it could have won 5 in for the thrill. Not really ballet but flawless even so. 6 electricity( jojo first solo) I loved so much about this 7 no crybaby’s, tea is so underrated 8 out of my mind. Mckenzie should have done way more blues. 9 dissapear, the facials were not cringy and forced like usual. It was refreshing and moving. 10 the diary of Anne frank. So much thought into this piece,loved it 11 metamorphosis (savannah) so clean, wish we could have seen more of her. 12 rich girl. It wasn’t lyrical or comtenpary, it was sassy had great performance song and costume thought and exacution was too the point. So glad they did it. I also love boom boom, maddie the dance not the person, hellen kiliker,ptsd, mother,straight escape ( both versions) and proud Kammy And yes I know I did twelve I can count. Super star my Mckenzie was clean and cute too

i just wanna put this out there, i feel like whenever abby gave maddie a solo that isnt lyrical or conteprary she would mixe it like "lyrical jazz" (defo NOT maddies fault dont attack me on the comments)
Freedom in paradise and down by the river should be way higher and battled feet should not be as high as it is also out of my mind should not be above full me once happiness or wreck it and another pretty face is way to high as well
Hate how the places are based on the overalls because overall are just for the show, nobody puts all age divisions together and have only junior dancers win, you can't tell me senior dancers aren't better. Overall awards are just made up for the show like for example Chloe got 3rd in overalls but 1st in teen divison which is tougher judged then lower age divisions so the score is not as high. That's why real competitions don't do overall awards. Nothing against or has something to do with this video just wanted to say that
