This is why i love these types of videos. You get the good, the bad, the games that hit you right in the feels, the games that have you ask yourself, what were they thinking? Even games that have you asking, why was this not ported here? Even some games that are underrated gems.
@@Alykzandir right? like, of course you got your franchise players like sonic, street of rage and others, but then you got some good stuff like Konami games like buster’s hidden treasure, contra hard core among others, castle of illusion, but then you got those games where when you see it as an adult, you were like, what drugs were they on, this game looks stupid. then those games where others may not have picked up on it, yet it still has a colt following. then you got the japanese and other exclusives where most of them were like, why did nobody port this here, this is a gem! then there are those games you played where they’re in the back of the mind, you may have had it there for a long time, cause maybe it wasn’t as good, but then you rediscover, and you’re like, this is def worth another play around. let’s do it.
WOW. This video is _great_ value - we get to see footage of *all* the megadrive titles in one video. Though, I might chop it in half and stick the other portion in the freezer for later.
These are all on par with them: Thunder Force IV Ristar Sonic 3D Blast Alien Soldier Master of Monsters Time Trax (unreleased) Vapor Trail Devilish/Bad Omen Mega Turrican Panorama Cotton Wolfchild Gauntlet IV ResQ (unreleased) Elemental Master Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes (MD) & Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes 2 (MD) Midnight Resistance Dragon's Fury/Devil Crash MD Superman Battle Mania Daiginjou Thunder Force III Revenge of Shinobi Adventures of Batman & Robin
2:26:16 you know the *genesis does what nintendon’t* is actually true, nintendo tried to make pac mania better But the sega genesis out smart them, they even have an arcade version means full 3D game instead of just flat maze See nintendo don’t count your chickens before there hatched.
After sitting through whole video, I could't find my favourite childhood game, where screen moved on its own and you had to dodge giant floating gun's shots
A little help with the titles written below each game. For example, it's showing 6-pak.mp4, for a Double Dragon game (4th game shown). So, what is "6-pak.mp4"? It's also shown for a Sonic game. If a game is shown with a title like 6-pak.mp4 and I don't know what the game is, then how do I know what the actual name of the game is? Thanks.
John Smith sega was always better than nintendo. The library was better overall. Snes only has the same handful of games to brag about. Mario, zelda, donkey kong, metroid, starfox. Take away those and the snes has nothing worth buying. Sega on the other hand. Sonic, Streets of rage, Revenge of shinobi , Golden axe, Toejam & Earl, Busters hidden treassure, Dynamite Headdy, PulseMan, Castle of illusion, World of illusion, Quackshot, Aladdin, Ristar, Rocket knight adventures and the list goes on.... all must have games, all incredibly fun with great gameplay, lovely graphics and brilliant music. Sega MegaDrive/Genesis will always trump Snes
I was lucky to had both consoles back in the 90's and still do own them, but if I have to choose one will be the Genesis because the games are more fun to play and 6 button controller since to bit better for me. In the other hand Super Nintendo without Donkey Kong Country, Metroid, and Zelda will be killed by the Genesis.
I CAME HERE TO FIND MORE GAME CHARACTERS FOR MY SERIS SEGA HEROS I THOUGHT THERE WASNT ALOT THEN I CLICKED THE TIME THING ME:😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 SO THEN I DECIDED TO ADD ALL OF THEM EXCEPT FOR SPORTS
I remember a game from my childhood. all I remember of it is one of the bosses is a goldfish of some kind and it changed colors as you fought it and i think some of its scales came of (maybe).
cant find a game I played when I was little, I am pretty sure it was on sega console, I remember only 2 scenarios, its a shooter game with a level I remember was fighting on top of a plane, and I remember last boss scene when he drops from helicopter with 2 guns in both hands... hm thats all I remember I am still looking for the game.
I cant find the one where u were these characters u would throw things at the bad guys but they would throw things to u would get more characters each round but the one guy threw spears and some people had melee weapons and you would view them from over head
Anyone knows a side-scrolling platform game, which main hero can bounce at top of poles (similiar to mario's end poles) more than once and poles are bending when hero bounces. It was a mario like art style i think, and hero advancing through the game doing other stuff like walking, jumping, running. The only thing i remember is the bounce stuff. Please help^^

It's a Puyo Puyo alternative with some sprite work from the sonic franchise. It's called Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. It's available as a stand alone title, and you can also get it on the Sonic Collection.
Were all these sold on those cartridges that cost £40-£50 ? (back when £40-£50 was a lot of money!) Quite a lot in there that I'd have felt a bit ripped off by!
can someone tell me the game i forgot the name and i played the game when i was 8 years old so the game is based on a giant mech that can transform into a airplane and you have to explore the hole map by searching for mini bases and make them your team and you have to avoid to the other team get and capture your mini bases in islands or whatever the map was and so you have make your own robots to defend your principal base and transport those robots to a island to protect it from the enemy i hope i explain well and plz help me

This game is from the Koniu-Kun franchise which had many games in it. The only one I can think of that is on the Megadrive is called Kunio-kun no Nekketsu Soccer League
These may be all Classic games, however new games have been made for the Genesis for years - these are missing here. RETURN magazine reports on these new games for this system and many other systems (NES/ SNES, Commodore 64, PlayStation, Sinclair, Sega Master System / Genesis, Atari 8-bit & 16-bit and a lot of more). If you want to know more about new games for classic computers and consoles, you should subscribe to RETURN magazine: www.return-magazin.de
Damn I looked through this whole video and I didn’t find the game I was looking for. Although I’m like 85% sure it was a saga genesis game. I have no way of knowing how to find the game. I don’t even remember what the objective was
OMG LOL I FORGOT THE NAME OF THE GAME I WAS LOOKING FOR AND I HAD A FEELING IT WAS TOWARDS THE END, I WAS RIGHT IT WAS ZOOM! LOL. IM 32 YO NOW AND REMEMBER PLAYING IT IN THE MID 90S BEFORE MY SEGA GOT STOLEN! GOOD THING I WAS ABLE TO SKIP AHEAD. TY.
