I honestly never thought I would hunt all of these three little whippersnappers.
I decided to hunt Turtwig way back in 2019 and just dreaded the freaking hunt.
The resets were so long and, no kidding, at some point I even injured my left elbow because of how long I had to bend my left arm when doing said resets.
I stopped the hunt before getting the shiny turtle and went back a couple years later and hunted until I finally got it, which has after 30 thousand soft resets. I hated that hunt. I finished it because I really like Grotle, however I didn't care that much about Chimchar's line or Piplup's so I had no intentions at all to ever do this hunt again.
However at some point, Chimchar and it's evolutions started to grow on me and I ended coming back to this hunt and surprisingly, Chimchar shined after only 185 SRs!
Since then chimp shined so quickly I had no choice but to go for the penguin, which shined fairly quickly.
