Its rare that we get to see non clone officers in TCW. I wish we got to see more instances of non clones in the GAR.

They probably had a reserve army made up of volunteers but they wouldn't have seen much action

I think it's mostly because it would be too expensive to make many unique faces many times, even more for secondary characters. It's the same reason why we don't see many CIS organic officers and crew.

@@a_tree5793I think it's more related to ranks and corps. most of the non-clone troopers and officers were capital vessel admirals, and apart from that there was a captain from senate commando and I believe those were all of them

@@madding1602 true but that’s only what we’ve seen in the official lore. Clones are expensive to produce and equip so it would make sense that in the event of a depletion of personnel or resources they’d have a back-up army of enlisted troops that could be deployed ad-hoc to assist with military operations.

@@a_tree5793 but (at least in the current lore) they don't. That's what we see in the bad batch. The recruitment law allowed them to create an army of non-clone troops. If so, as soon as Tarkin was allowed the whole clone army would have been dismounted and the Imperial army would have been set. Besides, the whole republic counted with at least 1.2M soldiers at the start of the war. Even if the clones died, more were being produced as the whole war was going. And clones, unlike droids, could be healed easier than droids could be repaired (and were protected better). The Republic was centered on winning the war, and after that paying whatever debts they would have from the war once they'd won

I like Killian's strict but orderly manner. The man is truly the typical ideal of a military leader in times of war. Unlike Yularen, he knows how to assess dangerous situations correctly.

Even more than that, Killian was more than willing to disrespect direct orders from Jedi generals when he saw fit to do so. Yularen mostly went along with Anakin’s orders even if they were stir crazy

@@spencercarruth9706 Yularen also had to be rescued from very dicey situations by the Jedi during the war. He mentioned to Anakin in the episode "Cat and Mouse" that in the battle against Admiral Trench, a Jedi-led special unit narrowly managed to save him. As the ISB's top intelligence officer, Yularen was efficient, respected and very influential. His record as an admiral in the GRN during the Clone Wars is not great.

@@antonius521it’s a case of bad placement. Killian is fit for admiral, Yularen was not. I recall many admirals descend from Republic Nobility who have multi-generational lines of admirals, so placement was a mix of being ‘in the blood’, family pressure, and nepotism.

@@antonius521 That wasn't during the war. He was a young judicial officer at the time. Also, that wasn't down to him being inept, you are kind of just ignoring how good Trench was. And he wasn't just 'saved by the jedi', he was saved by a Republic taskforce that was led by a Jedi. Trench was outgunned at that point, not outskilled.

Well, He's an admiral in RL military ranks, he's might just one step below the Jedi, but considering he's the actual military top brass compared to the Jedi, he has full authority on his ship.

Empire. Most, if not all the characters in TCW, if they survived, would be Imperials. Commander Hawk for example probably would be squadron leader, and if he survived the first few years of imperial rule, then maybe he'd make Imperial ace and/or retire. The ATRT company from the Ryloth arc that helped Mace Windu invade the capital city remained loyal to the Empire, that was confirmed. Cody should have stayed loyal to the Empire, but the writers changed his personality drastically to make him leave, but the other 212th and 501st troopers probably stayed loyal as well.
