Have you ever walked out of a mall into a huge parking area, and forgotten where you'd parked? Don't wait, time is ticking. For Al Simmons, he did, and it ended up costing him. How much? Well, how much is the right amount to tip? Hi, I'm Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn.
You find yourself on a literal road to nowhere. Barren, desolate, so quiet that all you can hear is the howling wind and your nervous heartbeat. You keep walking, and walking, and walking, thinking this road is eternal. When suddenly, off in the distance, stands a figure. You swear to yourself it's a mirage. Yet somehow, it feels real. What's more, this distant figure beckons you to come closer. So you do. With each step, the figure seems to look like a fellow human being, waving their right arm from front to back, as if to say COME THIS WAY. You get nearer to this figure, and it seems that the road ahead of you splits in opposite directions. And the figure is standing at the fork in the road. You can't resist, each step closer, you start to notice the figure becomes more familiar.... HERE YOU ARE! The literal fork in the road, and that fellow traveler beckoning you is standing a mere 10 feet away from you. That's when you come to the horrible realization. That figure you've been anxious to follow... was you. Not a doppelganger, not a mirage, just you. What do you do? You notice his arms stretched towards each split in the road. His right arm guides you one way. His left, the other road. Man, what a trip, huh? Our dear Hell Spawn is about to undergo a similar situation when his boss Malboja sets Al Simmons down an irresistible road with its own demented fork in it. And the guide beckoning him to choose which side to take? Well.... watch and see.😉❤
Do you really think you know anything about everything? or do you actually know nothing about anything... I'm Todd Mcfarlane... I was contractually forced by HBO to try to scare adults in this intros... and now... Spawn... so take of your pants.
"If you're good at drawing comics, how good are you at drawing different comics? How do you react when the script changes when you're reading it? Hi ,I'm Todd McFarlane, creator of Spawn. Now I'm also contractually obligated to host Tales from the Crypt for a season, because the Cryptkeeper puppet broke. And after watching Tee from the Cee, go watch Dream On, for the "breast comedy in tv" and oh god the money is not worth this shit."
Have you ever been on a date and suddenly you have to fart really bad? You're trying to impress this girl but you're not sure if you can hold it in for the rest of dinner. What do you do? Do you lift one butt cheek off your seat and try to let it out silently? Force it out while faking a cough to cover the sound? Excuse yourself and go to the bathroom? No time to think - the gas is a heartbeat away from escaping your colon. What's your decision? I'm Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn.....
It’s easy to make fun of these, but when you consider that he could have just been lazy and shut up and allowed Marvel to take his characters and stories, it changes the perspective. This is a guy who built up his own ideas and helped to provide a real alternative for comic book artists when the big two dictated unfair terms.
@TheFLAMEXD to be fair Todd Mcfarlane is busy making toys and doing Spawn as well doing live action Spawn movie and Spawn The Animated Series and Todd was busy providing Image Comics Company more money to keep the company alive since the collector market(from the early years)collapse due to many variant and hologram covers as well bad story telling from Marvel Comics such as Clone Saga, etcs and Neil Gaiman only pissing Todd Mcfarlane off because Neil Gaiman is not receiving loyalty from his work at Spawn comics and Todd Mcfarlane is busy at his work as well his personal life and Todd Mcfarlane is very busy bussiness man only for Neil Gaiman to pissing Todd Mcfarlane off. I know what type of man Neil Gaiman is and Neil Gaiman got divorced twice in his life time and that's karma for him being asshole to Todd Mcfarlane and I know Neil Gaiman's type and Neil Gaiman is devilishly greedy man and weirdo as well being asshole and doesn't understand the concept of the character to be created and forever being owned in different comic book companies and I knew Neil Gaiman was an asshole to begin with after I researched him in RU-vid video and I will never read his comics as well the movies he made and I will not work with Neil Gaiman and I will never work with him in my whole life.
@@Kelis98 dude i haven't had cable for about 5 years now so i haven't really kept up with anything that's been good on tv tbh I've just into listen to audiobooks lately from what I've seen tv shows and movies are frankly just too predictable and some just nonsense with their plots
TODD: Lucifer...please grant me good looks and success if I create a Comic Book series of your domain... LUCIFER: Granted....for a price... TODD: ...What price? LUCIFER: A LISSSSSSP!
These intro’s where absolutely awesome it takes absolute guts to talk about your own creation on live tv (some would say Pretensions but that’s everyone in the business)
Rynnec Zuhac Todd McFarlane. He created Spawn, one of the darkest and greatest anti-heroes. Before that, he co-created Venom at Marvel and revitalized the Spider-Man series.
Todd McFarlane talks like his words mean the fucking universe and will change your perception of reality but in actuality he comes across sounding dumber than he probably is. These intros are just pure comedy gold.
Imagine todd did become a MLB player and a very successful one like he wanted to but due to injury he was unable to persue that career we would had never gotten spawn or venom or image comics
I don’t like these narrations for a few reasons. First off, I get that he was perhaps inspired by Stan Lee to narrate his own show, but he doesn’t have nearly the charisma that Stan had. It has the opposite effect, sucking me right out of the show before it even begins. Second, it feels like he thinks we are babies because he just explains all of his themes out right. Lastly, Richard Dysart always chimes in and does all of this way better than Todd McFarlane. He narrates the show with the wisdom that someone like his character would have and he explains it to us as if we are adults, the target audience of this show.
