I wish they continued the game series and the webisodes! Like in Origins they left it as an obvious cliffhanger for another game! It's been six years now!
+Allday232 thats how they keep suspense like with guitar hero they waited how many years before they released Guitar Hero live maybe they have a secret game in store?
Jacob Speedy yes but unlike spectrobes it had a much larger fan base. I love this game but I’d be pretty surprised if they made a new one. And I hope they atleast remaster it for the 3DS (but they won’t)
agreed (I have fan fictions of this I made called: Spectrobe Stories . It takes place a year after spectrobes: Origins and there's a new character named Emily (she basically my character "aka me" in the story) who unbenounced to to her Friends Rallen & Jeena and the rest of the NPP, she is part krawl and daughter of Krux the high krawl, but she's defective instead of having an active evil krawl side like Krux and his high krawl minions (exe Maja, Jado, etc. etc.) she has a passive evil krawl side meaning its like this in her mind: "should I kill this person? nah... lets let them die naturally or get killed by someone else..." she works there studying krawl relics (which are written in a language she knows by heart called Krawl text. It's the writing language Krawl use, 1/3 of the krawl relics are just stone tablets of information the other 2/3 are the powered relic that could open a portal to some faraway planet *(which leads into the discovery of earth)* or unleash a creature that's impossible to defeat, and they could a lot more than that)
@@lightninglily9118 Don't get me wrong from what you have here it sounds like it would be an interesting series to watch or read, though the bit about Earth feels a little off putting or something like that can't really explain why though. Granted as I read it I began thinking off all kinds of events that could transpire, but falling under the vain of this trope or that common plot thread. However even if something has been used before a new spin or merging can still see something new and enjoyable come from it.
why isn’t there a reunion for this game to be made for the switch... i don’t care its a necessity for us old heads who used to have such fulfillment playing this game! we have to do something about this
Because Disney Interactive was the publisher and own the trademark. Not Jupiter. Jupiter did a great job but Jupiter was contracted not owned by Disney. Evidence of this is Spectrobes Origin's when they had Genki as the Developers. Jupiter had no say. The series just didn't make enough money for Disney and eventually led to the crippling of Disney Interactive. Literally all they make now is Kingdom Hearts so they are in crippled form. This game is beautiful and I will always want the game remastered too but that is why it will never happen
@Rodrick Young Yeah, I know... 😓 I just wish they kept working on Spectrobes, either a game or a webserie/movie after Origines. I feel so much potential in it.
One of my all time favorite games, I have so much fun playing this! But did anybody notice how Rallen was listening to the main theme of Spectrobes Origins?
This Guy I'm sure they qualify as a couple, it's just so tsundere that I'm pretty sure that if some one confronted Rallen or Jeena about it they would throat punch them XD
8:18 This is the best baby spectrobe you can use for Searching, it can detect minerocks and fossils, and has 8 points of range. Nice detail to included in this series.
Theres a lot of good references from the first spectrobes, like the combo with aurora-corona attack, the way to discover fossils and waking up them, the Geo, the people who give you the red and green gems (Cyrus gives you the blue one), the card input system and even the way to select the planet to travel. They really put effort to feel exactly like the game.
Yep. Years later, and it's still cheesy. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the only modern kid-focused Disney IP to throw out the words "Dying" and "Dead". Thank god SOME part of Disney got over the whole "Ermagherd our kids will be corrupted" phobia. That said, it could've been Buena Vista, but I imagine that the instant someone said "animated" Walt Disney busted through the wall and said "DIBS"
***** I never said it was bad, not at all. They're excellent games that I maaaaaay have spent a bit more time in than healthy :P You have to admit though, especially with Rallen's hamminess, the games were INCREDIBLY cheesy at times.
+Flappybird15 around 3 or 4 years ago i played the original Spectrobes to try and replace Pokemon bc i was convinced it was Satanic or it was satanism or some sht but it worked for about 2 to 6 months then i got hooked on Pokemon again i play Spectrobes and Pokemon now and i play for hours at a time
The first game starts with "Amoebic creatures that devour planets" and the concept of billions of people dying straight away. All you companions start out dead too!! How did I handle this as a kid
I never understood why they didn't try to continue this. Jupter really had something going. It's was like kaijudo. A great original TCG/Video Game series that got cut short
Spectrobes, among all the monster collecting franchises out there, has by far the most wasted potential. That shit was on its goddamn knees, begging for more games and plot development. Sadly, Disney never delivered, and now we're left with a corpse. Life is pain, I hate.
Well at DICE 2020, Disney invited game companies to licence their IPs. Maybe we can pester a game company enough to pick the license up for Spectrobes 4 lol
I never actually finished the first game. I never even played the sequels. But all of that is about to change. I bought the first Spectrobes game on Amazon two days ago. And I intend to complete it. It was one of my most biggest regrets, not finishing the first spectrobes game. Time to make up for it!
I wonder... if Disney even remembers Spectrobes. I still have the first game, for the ds; never got the second one, beyond the portals, right? I wonder if it was good.
Yes it was, it wasn't a huge release but you can find it as a used game for the Wii in most game stores and some new copies in drug stores, I'm in America but I have heard it's in other countries, and yes it was also made in Japan.
I really wish they showed off the other High Krawl, not just Maja ;v; But, this was still pretty cool. Just kinda wish the voice acting wasn't so...weird.
Eduardo Lalo it looks like it takes place during the first game. Although non of the dialogue was in the game if I remember right. But the encounters where.
