@@Sanguine_Vampyre I know, i think it's a neat detail but they DO have actual lip sync in the live concerts which makes this even more jarring, props to them for keeping it up ig
@@Josuh maybe it's a style thing, because iirc the old amiibo's models are from the games they were introduced for, it might be as simple as "we overhauled lip sync and forgot that doesn't affect old models" but then again they do have the low FR lip sync in side order so who knows?
Not gonna lie, i kinda hate how you're just forced to have NSO to do anything in Splatoon 3 that isn't the singleplayer modes. Nintendo really could have spared amiibos from NSO
I think it’s because they need to check how many battles you’ve won. Though it does make me wonder why it can’t just check the logs instead, maybe any anti-cheat measure?
@@callumc2284 That's the lowest requirement needed to do so and i do know it works because it has ai opponents. Nintendo still should add more offline stuff though

I got all the equipment so… whatever; but it kinda sucks the need of internet for so Much stuff that doesn’t involve directly playing with other people. Tubleturf Battles against npcs or reclaming the rewards of story mode, for instance
Honestly Haven’t decided to renew my nintendo because of it. Along with their new like payment system stuff, it’s all bull in my opinion like I can’t even get the free first piece of gear without the NOS. It’s really annoying, but i’m happy to have the figures. Fr can’t wait for the rest of the dlc to drop.

in able to get all of the gear for the amiibos you scan you have to win 20 pvp multiplayer games (10 for each item as you get the shoes automatically). so basically they have to check the battle logs to count that which requires internet apparently
@@Anon_ghost yeah, its really not that great how almost everything on splatoon is locked behind having internet/ a nintendo online subscription...... like if you cant pay for online anymore its literally unplayable except for the story mode. cant even buy gear or weapons without internet. :/
@@astrinova Yes. This was my issue, because nintendo stopped accepting certain credit cards which made it hard for me to buy anything and then their new payment policy is garbage. Anything above 3 Financial issues will get you permanently banned. For example: If you needed to change your card because you were hacked that would count as an issue gives you one strike, or say you have a fraud alert then that will also count as a strike and will make the game impossible to play without calling nintendo, then say like someone manages to get your information, that too counts against you, and therefore that would permanently ban your account. And now with them not accepting certain credit cards for nintendo eshop I and many others am forced to resort to buying the nintendo online gift cards. Luckily they have them for a one year subscription so i’ve started doing that and thankfully to that nothing can go wrong so it can’t count against you.
You need the Nintendo Online Subscription. I’m not going to go into specifics about how to get it, just in case you are a younger viewer. If this is the case, then ask a parental guardian to help you.
