Fingers crossed for some more part 8 characters now that they have the full part to work with. I think that especially Kira, Jobin and maybe even some rock humans like Damo, Urban Guerilla or Yotsuyu can make an appearance.
It's a shame they don't have a collectors edition for Steam. I'd really like to have the Jolyne figure but not enough to buy the game twice! I would just get a console version but I'm really looking forward to seeing if we get a modding scene around the game on PC, one can only hope!
The Jolyne figure seems to be a recolored version of the Jolyne Cujoh - Grandista (Bandai Spirits) prize figure, so if you can’t get her here you could always try buying the original and painting it if that’s your thing
I feel like they can definitely go hard on the Stone Ocean promotion. Since the game is coming out a month before the new episodes, they could have characters like Weather Report, Foo Fighters and others added to the game to increase hype.
Weather Report, would be very lit because i love his power, but would the memories retrieved Weather Report, be a transformation so you can use the snails to turn the tides.
I just want my girl F.F. to get in. I imagine she'd be a gun user like Hol Horse. I remember one of his moves broke a bottle of water on the ground so Hanged Man could attack, so maybe she'll do the same to let a copy assist. Maybe a passive heal if she gets to the puddle first?
An interesting idea I had for how Foo could work is that they could normally be Atroe Foo for the main part but then also have a separate colony of plankton come out to form the Stand Foo, allowing then to work like any other Stand user. Another idea I had is to give them a charge/hydration gimmick. They can charge up meter by drinking from their cup, similarly to how Hamon users can charge meter by breathing, but only for a period of time before the cup is empty. There could also be a meter that goes down whenever you don't drink and could work similarly to Mista's 4 bullets, where if they’re dehydrated they take slightly more damage and lose meter when hit.
@@mrSatern100 Hydration could work well if they balance the recharge time and how long the status lasts. It’d be a hassle to do quick damage then have to run across the stage just to take a sip of water or else you get debuffed. What I love is the idea of human Foo and Stand Foo being together. Obviously they’re one and the same, but I’m a sucker for shots of a User with their Stand next to them, so an opportunity for Foo to get a chance for that sounds amazing
I wonder if by “more than 50 characters” they mean 50 characters base game and then the four DLC characters. It would explain the updated roster image with Baoh and the 13 extra slots
Baoh popping in and out is weird regardless, but yeah I think this is the most reasonable explanation. One image has 50 characters, one image has 54. There are 4 DLC characters. So, I think it’s likely that the 4 extra characters are the DLC (with Baoh being one of the DLC fighters again I guess).
Even though I would love to see all Eyes of Heaven characters come back, I doubt that N'Doul shall return due to his specific gameplay. In free roaming games like Eyes of Heaven or Last Survivor he could work perfectly but in a limited environment of 3D fighting games. But I would be glad to be wrong and if they shall find a way to implement him... Also, I would love to see playable Mikitaka, Abbachio and F.F. as well
Or they can make him sit idle and let him just use his stand to fight Like how in JoJo's venture that D'Bo guy fights along side that small guy They could make something like that but just N'doul can't fight
N'Doul was actually planned to be playable in Heritage and even had concept art of some attacks. The reason he wasn't given the Vanilla Ice treatment is likely because Geb's sprites had desert reflections in them, and redrawing them would've been too tedious.
Man, you just made me remember JoJo Diamond Records. God I miss that game, despite it's issues. Pitter Patter Pop lasted a decent bit more than DR though, like a few years more?

It was fun, but it had problems. Everyone had slow attacks, so rounds would just drag on. Though it looks like they'll be fixing that. Also, you could play custom music during fights, if it was downloaded on your PS3. I really hope this feature stays in this new version. I added a bunch of music from the anime, and fan themes for the Part 6-8 characters.
The thing I’m most looking forward to, possibly, is stage hazards!! A lot of SBR and JJL stands have passive abilities compared to previous parts. Imagine Tooru wandering around a portion of the screen, making anyone in that area take increased damage due to calamity or maybe a stage based on the 11 Men shootout where walking off one edge of the screen takes you through a body to the other side!
If you're correct that's going to be a lot of characters, I hope that the game will still be balanced and all characters be unique. Also yeah Speedwagon is here!

I have only three main wishes for new playable characters: Foo Fighters, Keicho Nijimura, and Wekapipo. I really hope at least one makes it in. Especially FF.

I think, much like how Hanged Man helps Hol Horse, that Pesci is already going to be included as part of Prosciutto's moveset. Honestly I'm not sure how you'd go about making a whole moveset for Grateful Dead otherwise
Maybe make a video on Pucci’s three Stands and how they relate to each other? I think I have a solid idea of them but a lot of people might not understand the intricacies so it could be a good thing to go over
So it’s safe to say Abbachio and Foo Fighters are 100% gonna be 2/4 DLC characters. Because they’re the high demand characters so they’d probably need more development time/make money from the season pass. Or Abbachio could have a cool custom character style moveset since he copies stands.
@@juncheok8579 to an extent. His stand can take the appearances of other characters and people. It wouldn’t shock me if he was like Mokujin from Tekken where he could use other characters moves or abilities. They have a lot of creative potential with his stand
Something I would find interesting and a complete left field move is if the last character in the season pass was a prototype for the protagonist of part 9. I know that Araki would probably never do this, but it would be the most Hype thing ever in my opinion.
The original ASB had a version of Josuke 8/Gappy that was based on the first few volumes, so I think whether or not they get in depends on when Part 9 gets released, as well as how much there is to work with. Of course, it doesn't make it any more likely...
I'm guessing that they might add part 8 Kira, Josefumi as a possible alt costume for Gappy and I hope they add either Blackmore from part 7 or Wekapippo(?) also from part 7.

@@BurstSigil honestly either way would be awesome. I’m a big fan of part 8 and I just want the main villain and potentially others to get in! It would be awesome to hear voice actors and interactions from these characters that probably won’t debut in an anime until like 5-6 years from now.

It might be neat to see Abbacchio use Moody Blues to "copy" an attack for later use. For example, it could be a specific special move, and the first time acts like a counter that deals little or no damage and resets to neutral, but the second time, he has Moody Blues redo that attack by rewinding. You could just copy the opponent's model and animation that way, too.
@@eli-jah_ayon Maybe that rewinding takes a bit of time, allowing for some potential combo extensions or additional pressure due to the delay caused by the rewind process.
I want F.F. and Ghiaccio to join. Also some more part 8 representation is greatly accepted. We don't know if they will bring back Joshu, but we need Tooru, and then we can say that the game has all the antagonists.

Id desperately want Jobin-san added with Tsurugi riding his back and tsurugi acts as ranged attack sending oragami fly or crawling across the stage and when jobin transfers heat it does passive damage over time
In my honest opinion, this is probably gonna be one of, if not the best jjba fighting game we'll ever get. this many characters AND costumes, long with a bunch of locations? this is gonna be awesome
With how EoH was developed on the ASB engine, and with Trish and Prosicutto soft confirmed, I think it's likely that we could see Abbachhio and Pesci make playable appearances as well, as they have full models in EoH (like how Prosicutto did). There's also the possibility for a few other characters appearing like this that I've forgot about. Aside from them however, I've compared the rosters of EoH and ASB personally, and excluding Part 4 Jotaro, Pucci New Moon, and Diego The World, every other character from EoH not in ASB already could be part of the final roster (with Vanilla Ice being shown very recently as well, it just adds to the point).
They tried to do that last time but had difficulties implementing Moody Blues, I believe. Of course, a similar reason occured to Ditto as a Pokéball Pokémon in SSBM, but it eventually appeared in SSBU, so it is indeed possible now, so hopefully they can work out Abbacchio!
The fact that it will have a season pass makes me happy, because it could be another character that isn't par of the EOH roster besides the one we will already have
I want that collector's edition but Namco is one of those companies that charges for pre-orders up front instead of at dispatch, and like, I cannot afford that right now.

So if you notice there’s a season pass so I think that all the NEW as in new to the game not from EoH will be in the game pass , and the 10 coming with the game will all be from EoH, that’s just my guess though.
OK so given how this trailer focused on parts 1, 2, 3 and 7 and revealed characters from those four parts, I can't help but wonder if there's going to be another for parts 4, 5, 6 and 8. And gets me thinking: 1. I think if they were going to reveal anyone else from parts 1 2 3 7, they'd have done it here, so sadly there's probably no Stroheim this time 2. Do you think they cut the parts the way they did to get these trailers to match? And if so, does that mean we should expect the next 4 characters to be from parts 4 5 6 8? Does that include Trish and Prosciutto since as far as I'm aware they were revealed basically by accident?
Please. I love Petshop, but he just hates being balanced. The main issue was that damn overhead icicle. Given how busted it was, I have a feeling they might not give him that again. Or at least, I hope not.
@pabloni pet shop is the brawl metaknight of the game. His icicle, dash, moveset and mobility absolutely cucked all else in the game. Hell, Kakyoin was more tolerable.
@@theguy2759 I played EoH only, so forgive me if i get this wrong about ASB, but Tooru could be a Dramatic Finish as the finishee pursues the doctor and boom the stage starts flying at them
6:10 It's a potential theory that the PlayStation trailer has more characters present for exclusive characters in its version, since Sony kind of does this a few times for a few fighting games I want to be proven wrong tho
@@EXFrost They do it with even games outside of Fighting Games as was last year with Call of Duty Vanguard I wouldn't put it past Sony to pull that, since ASBR got revealed on a State of Play event, and the previous two games were sony exclusive
One thing I noticed from the first half of the trailer is that the parts shown have reveals relating to those parts Part 1 got Speedwagon, Part 3 got Mariah and Pet Shop, and Part 7 got Diego. However, Part 2 didn't get any reveals, which possibly means there might not be any new Part 2 fighters added to the base roster (poor Stroheim) So with that in mind, that could mean the next few trailers could follow this format: showing off what characters are already in the game for that part first then reveal what characters will be added for those parts later in the trailer. Just some food for thought going forward
Thats likely what would happen, given they haven't officially announced Trish or Proscuitto yet. The next trailer will focus on new characters from parts 4, 5, 6, and 7. One of which likely won't get a new character since part 4 got two new ones, just like part 3 did in this trailer.
I'm kinda happy we get this instead of a new JoJo game because with how Bandai does things nowadays it would probably had many less characters and more DLCs

The updated Baoh poster makes a lot of sense with the fact that 4 DLC characters will be added afterwards. 54 Characters with Baoh's return being a surprise. 50 base characters including Baoh and then the 4 dlc, the PSN pic was probably a pic meant for after the game came out showing the hidden stars for the dlc.
One day I'd like to see Anubis/Possised Pol make a return to a JoJo's game I just Really like Anubis But if there's 4 dlc My predictions are Part 1 2 4 are probably not getting characters Part 5 I'd say Risotto is a lock for dlc Part 6 is foo fighter again another easy lock I'd like to see the funny Motorcycle Lady from part 8 And probably another Part 7 rep (Hopefully Jesus but it would never)

The one thing I hope for in this game is an English audio option, as I watched the dub. I wouldn't complain if there wasn't, but it would be really nice if there was.
