That's actually really smart and creative. The fact that the entire mod was a play and that everyone is still alive is baffling. They went all out with this mod. Props to them!

1:20 I adore how M slowly drops his Mario voice as his dialogue goes on from here. Also I like how that this is another one of those FNF mods where the protagonists lose at the end, it is sad but still. This by far has to the greatest FNF mod I’ve ever seen
I love how (Despite not actually being canon I don’t think) the credits is mario essentially saying “I’ve won… But at what cost?” Another thing I like is that halfway through Mario’s monologue, he completely drops his impersonation of Mario and reveals his true colors, really cool. (Merry Christmas btw!)
Btw, if people don’t know what the Bg is in act 1 of all stars. It’s an abandoned and ruined New Donk City. A city based on Ny and run buy mayor Pauline.
@@eggy7375 Yeah. I also knew that it was because there’s a letter “I” and “E” in the background in the colors blue and green. Those letters and three other ones are in the New Donk City Park. They spell out Mario and once you organize them in the correct positions you would get a Moon.
Now we have to wonder: if BF and GF both died to Mario, what hope does Pico have? I think the only chance he has is somehow getting Daddy Dearest, Mommy Mearest, and/or potentially the Lemon Demon in for help

@@-agent10-2 that's an maybe but I don't think not because if you look closely after overturned after pico beat To-Late.exe pico idle was Glitching for a second until it turned back to boyfriends over world idle but if he did escape yes he would say that but I think he'll figure out that bf and gf are trapped so we don't known how much time have been spent outside of the game world it might be a minute to bf and gf but it mite be a week or a month to pico so that's something to keep in mine because we know the dev's from MM are taking their well deserved break for making the mod for the last 2 years I have a feeling that when we(it's an if here because they needed the break after their hard work for the mod) V3 it has to revoled around rescuing bf and gf and this time he is repaired and he calls dd and mm and his friends nene and Darnell to get some help because he doesn't know how much time they spent in that world and maybe will get the full back story of *M* in the V3(if that happends) they'll travel to *M* world and get bf and gf out of their because in the ending bf was implaild as for gf god I don't what's going to happened to her because *M* wants revenge on dd because of what he done to him back at the 90's and trapped him in a Mario cartridge for the last 30 years and I thought tabbi's backstory was messed up but these takes the cake but still I hope it happens but will have to wait until we get comform by the dev's because they needed the break at this point(and also sorry if this is long and I mean very long)
@@MasterSinister3 and that's a fact because we don't know his full motivation but we do know that 1: he's evil with a capital E, 2:He is obsessed with body's and wants to cook gf for some unknown reason, and 3:we have seen other mods of what monster can do the best example is fnf corrupted. So yea monster is out with no question but as for dd and mm however that's an different situation all together.
I admit, I was surprised that M was actually an exe version of cappy instead of another mario.exe. actually very original and interesting of a concept.
I don't know if you noticed, but boyfriend dies 13 seconds before the end of the song. So the song is not over yet, maybe there is a secret addition we need to do at that moment, which will help us escape. Maybe they will add it in the next update, maybe there is a move we need to do in the game, maybe pico will save us, I don't know, but I would prefer it to have a good ending.
i dont think this person knows copium refers to coping instead of copying, give em a break but yea the devs worked their asses off on v2 for almost 2 years and were bugged abt finishing it for a while too, they probly wanna b totally done w/ it at this point. that and everything that happens after all-stars is non-canon, bf does die. well, its more like u can believe what u want bc the credits has art of everyone just having a good time and implies it was a play i get wanting a good ending for stuff like this, i do. but i dont think we're getting that good ending u want unless the non-canon play thing counts also i dont wanna b rude but. bf dying 13 seconds before the song ending doesnt rly mean anything past him having died, the song was just wrapping up lol
I like to think it's because all signs point towards you, the player (or BF), and that everything was your fault. From the very beginning, when the two get sucked into the game, to the very end, when BF dies.
Finally! A mod where the enemy that is much more popular than boyfriend gets tired of singing and just kills him straight up. So many mods had characters that could do this whenever they wanted and yet they didn’t.
It depends of what people do with BF, sometimes they make him powerful like in Blueballs incident and the other he's just a dumb boy that play too much
They didn’t make him “powerful” in blue balls incident in a way yeah but he died like over and over like a million times he was stuck there battling with legion for years just take a look at his hair, another entity intervened and helped bf use legions power against himself

Don't worry in the credits scene it's revealed that everything is just a play just like in super Mario bros 3 and the creator said that if bf actually dies or it's all a play is up to the player to decide. I have a headcannon that this Mario.exe is just that creature from power star archives getting full hold on the game and all creatures in it, making it fully his game.
I love that gf and bf finally get what they deserve after so many years of being jerks and finally dying to someone who could have easily killed them but instead toyed with them instead
@billcipher6973 also they have survived way too many things. That should have easily killed them. Even sonic.exe should have killed them. They're too overpowered, then you need to be taken down. And mario did exactly that.

Funnily enough, no matter what happens here ending being canon or not, I just thought of something. BF kinda still has the last laugh after all of this. Yeah, he and GF died, and Pico is lost as hell, but I dont think that was what *Mario* wanted. It just feels like he wanted something from them but could never get it and killed them out of rage and is now regretting his actions. At least that's the vibe i get from the ending song. Maybe he wanted someone to help him escape the hellhole that was the cartridge. Maybe he just wanted someone to beat his game and survive. There are so many ifs, and there are no concrete answers...
I would’ve liked if other fnf mod characters came in to save bf in the end Or they each fight a different character in each song instead of bf for all of them
Seeing boyfriend lose with no twist or switchup is a nice change of pace, which sounds awful, but ironically, im totally here for it. You have to conceptualize that he, at this point, just has NOTHING left. The art does SUCH a great job at conveying that emotion.

If you watch the credits carefully, you can see everyone was shaking hands and all that other stuff, arguing over everything, BF was shaking hands with Pre-defeated IHY Luigi while MX was behind him, and in the end, BF sits down with Mario. The whole Pico finding them on strings thing IDK why tho.

Okay, hear me out. Mario.ExE is much more successful as a character than Sonic.ExE/Xenophanes. Sonic.ExE toys with his food, and is very arrogant, while Mario.ExE gets straight to the point. Not even 5 minutes in, the first cutscene with him in it, he literally just states "3 songs. Just 3, and you go." Xenophanes sends in his minions, who again, toy with boyfriend, while Mario.ExE does this to win his game. Mario.ExE doesn't just want to kill, but he offers a deal to BF, which he had failed. So, he ended up dying by the end of All-Stars, along with GF. In the ENTIRETY of like, EVERY Sonic.ExE mod, neither BF or GF end up dead. In MM v2, BOTH BF AND GF wind up dead at SOMEEEE point in the mod.
