I was an election judge- got up at 3:30 in the morning, worked for 16 hours, and when I got home, I saw Trump in the lead. I couldn’t sleep for two days and literally hung off my toilet for the interim period. This election probably took a few years off my life expectancy.

Why? Things went exactly as experts predicted. I actually found it rather boring until Biden was called the winner.

Trump was the only one who was able to win a lot of the latino vote in the Rio Grande Valley. If there isn't a candidate like him then it would be tough for republicans to even crack 30% in the rio grande valley.

And with respect to the research the experts do, Florida was predicted to flip as well but remained in trumps lane.

Then they counted mail in then early. Biden told his supporters to vote that way and most did. This went exactly as predicted.

Good observation , but nothing is forever California used to be a Republican State ( Reagan was Governor Nixon a senator from there ) All the Deep South States Including Texas used to Vote Democratic - the solid South . What has happened is that Hispanic's are Voting Dem , but in fact they are pretty Conservative and either the Dems will move right to accommodate them or they will start voting for the Republicans
