I feel like Abe No Semei would be an awesome “Quick Merlin” type support. Since Douman is his counterpart and is a Quick servant, it would make sense for Semei to be a Quick support. I would love to see him have a unique gimmick that no other support in the game uses. Either some wacky/fun mechanic or an on attack buff that could be applied to Allies like Koyan Light
I've seen a lot of theory on Abe no Seimei over the years and I think post-5.5 I now understand the reason so many want him. Would legit be really interesting unit that's for sure!
boobica has all her skills basically upgraded, and oh boy she is a good teammate for an Arts Stall/Arts Crit team, with the right command codes, she has the missing part of Castoria/Tamamo stall which is Guts.
She would have been so much better as a support if she wasn't a rider or if they strengthen her arts buff, so that it gives stars and also reduce her crit star weight like for Bart
One o' those Bedivere people here-Knight's Tactics is a fun one in theory. Beddy's standard rate for generating NP on-hit is in that feels-good range where it's not just a pittance, and even if you have nothing else to capitalize on that with from summoning, his Bond CE further improves on this with a 1.1× bonus to NP rate and Buster performance. Slapping an NP Gain buff on top of having good base NP Gain and a potential second or even third source of NP Gain from CEs or support abilities would send him over the edge, to the point that you could much more reliably NP two or even three turns in a row if you get lucky with your cards and crits! What you said about taking him into challenge quests and having him go the distance is spot-on-he's been my main single-target damage contributor verse Lancers or Berserkers for a while now, and I like to supplement him with Mash and Andersen to help him survive until the next NP. With this buff, he'll get even more out of that wonderful NP of his! It's an exciting thing, let me tell you.
My suggestion for what they should have done with cursed arms np is that they should have made the buffs proc on a kill or bar break, any kill not just insta kill, that way you can use it to consistently buff up by killing adds in boss fights and then np again on the boss afterwards or use him as a bar finisher and then opener for the next bar.
One thing you missed about Tristan's buff is that now he doesn't only remove mental debuffs, he removes ALL debuffs. This is good in general, as he can remove stuns and skill seals and so forth, but it especially benefits Tristan because now he can remove the NP seal on his battery so he can charge up and NP on the same turn. Lily also has better NP scaling than the average Buster Servant. Most Buster AoE Servants do 300%-500% damage unupgraded or 400%-600% damage upgraded; Lily does 300%-600% damage unupgraded and 400%-700% damage upgraded.
I rolled NP5 Fukino (as of Summer 6) and brought Ereshkigal to NP5 (courtesy of this month's GSSR) so SUPER hyped now for their NP buffs. BTW Jalter REALLY needs a buff like a +50 NP charge for her 3rd skill.
Larter buff being 3 times 3 turns actually makes sense because its multiplier is equal to a mana burts, having a buff like that for 3 turns without restrictions would be broken
I'm just going to point out that Lancer Arturia is one of the few 5* AoE buster servant who can use Black Grial... Although, I also gotta say, it's not 6CE, sadly.
I don't know much about the Koyanskaya buster system stuff since I've been avoiding spoilers, but I do understand she does something to skill cooldowns. Does she just have it much faster and with more charge or is there some upgrade Tamamo could get that would let her do something similar with her skill cooldown reductions?
Koyan has a 50% target charge, which lowers skill cooldowns by 2 turns. It means that some servants can use their np charge and buff skills twice in 3 turns.
What KoyanLight has is: - targetable 50% NP battery with lower skill cooldown by 2 - Stars per turn - NP gain on buster card - Crit chance up for buster card So, for minturn, especially for buster servants, Koyan is indispensable. What Tamamo get over Koyan is spam able NP while Koyan's skill has long cooldown. But in minturn, that cooldown won't matter.
