No doubt mate he’s awesome Adam D from killswitch is probably the best I’m sure he had input on one of their albums he’s not just the guitarist he is pretty much writes all the parts to
i had a cd-r copy of BS&S before it was officially released that i got from a friend who used to date the original second guitar player (the guy with blond hair and a beard who looked a little older than the rest of the band, can’t remember his name). i absolutely loved that record -‘home to me’ is a great song -but never followed their subsequent releases after i moved away from massachusetts and the metal scene. it’s wild to me that they really took off after that and have a whole discography i know nothing about. enjoying the songs from the record they’re performing here tho
The whole band kills it, but I honestly believe out of all the metalcore scene Phil has by far the best scream vocals. Howard jones has the best vocals and Jesse Leach is the jack of all trades.
Got to see them in Indy, & when Dwells in Me dropped I lost my shit! Never thought I’d hear my favorite ATR song live & Phil sounded just like he did on the album. There sounding better then ever these days.
Dude I agree. It was hella weird, the moshpits for Miss May I were fucking ridiculous and they opened up for ATR. But when ATR came on they were at least half as crazy.
For me, it was my first concert, and I thought it was cool, just people in front of me throwing up. But that’s what makes a rock concert, beer and throw up on the floor, but the concert was fun to watch and experience.
