This is probably my new favorite band doc. The unfiltered behind the scenes look at tour life (babaaay), the outright calling out of shitty workers and opener abuse, the humor, the friendship, just everything. This video slaps so fuckin hard
i think we can all agree that the NY show where Justin called out this person at the end was the best part about the whole vlog. seeing everything that led up to that moment really puts things into perspective, and i think y'all did the right thing by calling out opener abuse and encouraging other up and coming bands to take no shit (and bigger bands not to hire people who clearly don't know how to do their job correctly or even basic respect). again, fuck that guy, Tallah for life. 🖤
@@Reds_not_dead the whole segment near the end with that show specifically starts at 5:35:33, but there’s a lot of context that you can only really get thru watching the whole thing. But that whole segment starts there.
would you believe me if i told you i’ve watched this whole thing twice now? lmfao but seriously, thank you for the dedication alone to just film every day and present it as wonderfully in the tour vlog man!! laughed hard as shit seeing myself at the austin show 😭 super excited to see y’all again on the 30th, and i hope this tour is just complete smooth sailing with some sick artists, because if anybody deserves that it’s definitely y’all. tallah for life baby!! 🫶🏼😤
I was at the show in Portland, one of my favorite parts of the show was Justin saying the song was over literally every time there was a change in the song during Too Quick to Grieve
Bro…. Justin!!! Your cojones against these ignorant morons is freaking admirable! Your infectious spirit is what we need in this world my dude!!! Keep slaying that shit!!!
Thank you for this in depth view of what it's like on tour. I'm so glad I watched your livestream about how you were going to edit this, Justin. You're right! If we can watch you livestream for 6 hours, we can watch this in 1 sitting. Thank you. You really are the best! #1
This vlog is how I spent my hurricane Ian 😂 I appreciate all of the work you put into putting all of this together, I can’t imagine how long it too with all of the editing! I think this shows a super important window into what it’s like for touring bands in the most raw way possible, y’all are just friends trying to have fun, but it’s not as glamorous as it may seem. I saw you guys at the Ft. Lauderdale Show in south Florida, and only went because you guys were there with varials. It sucks to see the disrespect that gets thrown around to openers, everyone starts somewhere! I wish you guys all of the best, and hope your guys tour with Attila is better!
I love these videos I can easily watch hours of this! I’m a 9 to 5 husband/father/railroad worker! But, before that I tour for 7 years off and on and I absolutely loved it! I miss it dearly so I’m just living vicariously though y’all and I’m thankful you put these out! Great people, great band! My goal is to play one more tour and open up for you guys! Keep killin it! Much love!
Let's see if I can even remotely put into words how thankful I am to just been able to witness this one of a kind masterpiece. Man, thank you and your whole band and everyone beyond that, who made this possible. This is the stuff people don't really see and even think about when enjoying their favourite musicians on tour. You guys are soooo much more than just Tallah to me, it feels almost like making new friends - even though we never really met, with every second felt like being with you guys on that trip, with every moment being so personal and unfiltered. From the highs and lows and everything in between. What a journey, man... I hope one day I will be able to see y'all live. I will always keep this experience, what it means to be touring with a band, in the back of my head. I love ya guys. Keep slayin it, and oh yeah.... F*CK YOU POOP SNIFFER, VOLDEMORT.
Everything about this entire video has been an eye opener. This is the part people don’t see that I feel would make even more outsiders have respect for bands and artists who tour, ESPECIALLY the smaller ones. Right now, I’m at the part where the security made Justin feel threatened and that’s just not cool bruh, I hate people like this. I hope the other bands had your back Just finished, very sorry you had to go through that type of mistreatment but thank you for allowing us the opportunity to see every aspect of tour in this way, especially for it to be 6 hours long. Incredible. You guys are amazing and this is why you’re one of my all time favorite bands
Holy shit what a tour!! I’m so glad I got to see y’all in Albuquerque, it was a hell of a good time! Justin and the rest of tallah thank you for signing my phone case! And thanks for such a great show, hope to see you all again sometime in portland
He's eating m&ms, and he brought me a coors light. *cut* Don't know why I laughed so fucking loudly at that. I guess just the idea that in order to get through this 3 am merch wrapping marathon, the specific fuel he required was one bag of m&ms and that his gift to you was one individual can of coors light. Probably would be close to the very bottom of the list of canned drinks I'd want for that occasion but you seemed juat so content with it and appreciative of your friend. So wholesome.
despite what was going on the entire tour behind closed doors, this was amazing, im glad i was able to see y'all for the first time and im definitely gonna be coming back if y'all do another date in LA or san diego
Binged it in two days!! Great content. I agree 100% with what you said on the final show. The build up of frustration after nearly 3 months, I would’ve done the same thing. Also, you’re mom is hilarious. Thanks for uploading and taking the time to edit!!!
this is so Frikken awesome! thanks for filming this and giving an inside point of view on the tour life, really cool to watch how things work and go. the transparency really made it and put things into perspective! also little did that guy know he would become the villain in an awesome documentary of opener tour life baby! love what yall are doing keep being real and support will come.
God damn you really out did yourself with this, I loved every second of it. Just seeing the wacky antics you guys get into is great and v entertaining. I hope you vlog at least a little bit on your next tour & Let’s hope I get to finally come out and see ya 💪🏽💪🏽
I know you said you’re probably not gonna do a tour vlog again. I hope you still do, but if not, this was an amazing experience and thank you for bringing us along for the ride.
Oh man, the blizzard at the Worcester show. Waiting outside in that was not fun, but seeing ya'll open up for a band that didn't pull some shady fuck shit was totally worth it
Mewzen hating the clap 👏 had me done in 😂👨🏻🎤🤘. Definitely some hilarious moments, and quite a few sad ones. Can’t wait to see y’all in reading this weekend! Don’t ever stop holding your ground!
Between last night and this morning, I have watched all of this mammoth. Loved it! Sorry ya'll had to deal with Voldemort but I respect the way you went about it (even if it's not the "professional" way, that's not what rock and metal are about man). I too, hate people like that, so I would've done something similar haha. Looking forward to new Tallah soon !
I can't believe i finished it!!!! AHHH i get to see you guys in just 2 days i'm stoked such an awesome experience being able to go behind the scenes, thank you dude!!
5:16:56 they're called zebra sharks because they have stripes when they're young that morph into spots as they age. In some countries they're also called leopard sharks because of the adult's spots.
When you guys hit Ft Lauderdale and Justin had to fill in for Phil of All that Remains must have been a total shock!!! Either way Tallah was unbelievable and Justin knocked it out the park!!! Continue to kick ass boys and girl.
Can’t wait to get my pre-order package! Those shirts looks fucking sick! Generation of Danger is my most anticipated album of the year, and I don’t think anything will beat this album for me in a very long time! Thanks for all this content and amazing music guys!
I live about 20 minutes from Greensboro NC and I am so sorry that happened to you here. A few months after your show, a security guard shot and killed someone at that venue; I wonder if it was one of the same guards you dealt with. I'm so glad your situation didn't escalate beyond what it did. EDIT: I see looking back at the comments that it was the same guy. Holy shit
I wish I could have been at the NY show because it looked epic. Saw you guys in Cincinnati and it sounded like you werent given the chance to get the sound right and everything setup. Varials spent the first 10 minutes of their set after you guys got off stage making the venue fix the sound which really fucking sucked because you guys fucking rock. I really hope Avatar treated all of you well they are the reason I found you in the first place at the House of Blues in Cleveland. I hope to see Tallah live again soon.
Oh man, what a ride!! I've seen all of it and for some moments I felt part of your crew (I wish!!!). Hate to hear such things about Voldermort and his shit. Some people are like that and you did great exposing him so others may be cautious about the guy. I'm in a band too and sometimes you just feel not appretiated, like a "music machine", with people not respecting you, or the instruments, or help you with anything but hey, that's part of the show. Good luck. Surely you'll be soon in huge festivals. Or maybe you can have a career in acting as your very funny and versatile. :)
I'm just finishing the vlog now, and Justin tearing Poop Collector Voldemort a new ass was satisfying as hell. ANYONE who's had to work under asshole management will relate to this frustration.
With the rotating family ya'll have, I would kill to join you on the road. Amazing to see peeps still doing the road grind, and especially in such a positive way. You're all worth your weight in gold and then some
Wow, this was so much video to edit. Pretty interesting to see a good bit of everybody's personality and the vast differences in venues. Kinda disappointing that it ended the way it did after what looked like an overall fun experience.
Does anyone know why Max (the drummer, I think that’s his name) was unable to go on this tour? Also- does do you think Mewzen keeps in that tactical chest strap? I’m guess a rare holographic Pikachu
You are the kings and queen of creation and I think all the haters that think Justin didn’t make the high scream in ghost feet I’d love to see one performed live to silence all that ish js love you guys keep it cummin
Also I gotta ask. Was the merch situation before or after the Alpha Wolf merch situation? Cause it seems to be an ongoing problem and it’s shitty that you guys have to deal with that constantly
Blind tiger is easily one of the worse venues in NC they've had shootings there this year. Arizona Pete's is way better for a venue in Greensboro. I love the vlogs! Love the band glad you made it out of Greensboro safe!
Hey guys, I know you know I can play your songs, next time you do some shows on the west coast, hit me up, if maximus can't make it, I am down buddies. I will not clean the pee lol.
I was at the show in Greensboro NC, dude one of the security guards there at that venue (the blind tiger) shot and killed someone during a show a month or two after you all played there. Look it up. I wonder if it was the homophobic one that was giving you guys trouble...
I just looked it up, and that is 100% him. I remember his face and the red braids. I memorized it because I was genuinely worried he was going to try and stab me. That dude needs to go to jail and stay there. Complete danger to society let alone the bands playing venues he works at.
@@HungryButtons Wow. I had a feeling it might be him.. I agree, fuck that guy! I'm really glad nobody got hurt the night that you all played. And r.i.p. to the guy that he killed
Finally got around to finishing this after passing out earlier in the morning, you suffering was worth it Justin, I found the hours just flying by and I enjoyed every second of this 6 hours❤
