Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Maybe after a week of vitamins and fluids. Any solid food would come right back up after fasting. You gotta work your way up to something like steak n eggs.
You can't blame tik tok or the internet. In the 70s we played the exact same "games," the pass out game. We'd exhale hard 3 or 4 times, then another person would stand behind you and squeeze as hard as they could. In grade school one of our games was to pinch your fingers together, and with your fingernails see who could scratch a wound into the back of their other hand the fastest/deepest. We walked around with gaping red and purple travesties. Once we staged a "break in" and nearly scared our friend Kristy to death. No cameras, no internet, just dumb kids. People born after the internet think everything comes from it; it doesn't lol
Totally. And remember ‘smileys’? When we’d all compete with each other to get the deepest goriest burn in the shape of a smiley face by pressing a burning hot bic lighter against our skin for as long as we could stand it lol
@elindquist5725 my prick ex brother in law was an army ranger and that pos used to choke me and his brother out bragging thar 7 more seconds we'd be dead. What a prick huh.
About the guy who died underwater, attempting to free himself of chains ...the onlookers started to get worried "after 30 minutes" when he still had not emerged 🙄🤨 It took them 30 minutes to start getting worried🙃? They'd be awful lifeguards...
At least that magician isn't as dumb as *_the 2nd_* magician who died trying to escape from being chained up in a box 6ft down a 🕳 while a mixer truck fills the 🕳 with wet cement‼️ Yupp... one guy tried it not realizing how many _thousands_ of lbs the cement weighed and the box caved in under the weight!.. Then an even bigger idiot later tried the same thing w/ same result‼️
Shackleton's journey is truely an amazing tale of survival and above all, leadership. He returned 100% of his team thanks to selecting the right most competent people for the mission. I've read much about his epic success. He failed in primary mission of making it to the south pole but he had the humilty to shift his goal to getting his people home. He didnt tolerate incompetence or fools. What's not appreciated is the fact the small boat (22 foot) Shackelton, Frank Worsely and 4 others sailed to the whaling station 800 miles were improvised and Worsley, a Kiwi naval officer was able to navigate using only the stars. They then trekked 36 hrs overland to the whaling station to get help. Shakelton and Worsley returned in a rescue vessel to rescue his entire team. Remarkable. We can learn a lot from all of these tales of survival.
Ernest Shakelton was nothing short of a badass to pull off what he did. Edit How in the hell can a man enter a taco eating contest, die of eating too many tacos then his family sue the organizers because he died from--eating too many tacos? If I was the judge I'd tell these folks to get the hell outta my courtroom with this stupid stuff.
I was just thinking the same thing. I would be like are you joking? How stupid are you? It's not the organizations fault your stupid dad can't eat properly. LOL! Get out of here with that shit.
As someone who has been lost in the Australian outback and did everything wrong please stay with your car or if your walking the moment you know your lost stop. I would have been found within hours if I didn't walk off, stupidly thinking I could find my way back instead I was walking away not towards where I came from. I was bloody lucky that I didn't end up in a mine shaft, dying of thirst or simply just never found.
My grandfather, a farmer in Africa was struck by lightning as he was finishing off on the land plowing the fields before a storm. He was unconscious for a week at home. His children and grandma was taking care of him. He could not remembered what happened except a massive shock. He was extremely lucky the Dr told him after he went to see him. He suffered with a headache for a while but that went away. There was no effects after the lightning strike and he continued farming until the age of 80 when he sold the farm and came to live with us with grandma.
Saw a flatbread eating contest, the winner got rushed to hospital and died from burst stomach. After winning he drank water and the bread expanded and burst his stomach.
8:20 I can't believe the narration that the family rescued by a Japanese fishing boat was so dehydrated that none of them had pee'd for 20 days, with swollen tongues UNABLE TO SPEAK, was rushed by the Japanese fishermen "to Panama where the family celebrated their rescue with a HUGE BREAKFAST OF STEAK AND EGGS." This is comedy.
Y’all please keep a backpack with water, bandages, a solar blanket, toilet tissue and peanut butter crackers in your backseat of all your vehicles. Stuff happens.
@@purpleclouds1504 I had 2 children. A daughter 8, son 9. I was 40. I Just didn’t feel comfortable bringing a man into the picture- I had a bad experience with a step father. I just wasn’t willing to risk it. I’m 67 now and have never regretted that decision. 💕
I would learn to accept it. What else are you gonna do? You can't fight paralysis. All you can do is try your best to manage your situation as best as you can. I'm partially paralysed due to my own stupidly because I didn't heed my Dr's advice and go to the hospital when my left hand side lost feeling and then movement. I thought it'd get better on it's own, DUH!! It turns out I had a brain abscess and I was sooo lucky to live through it and regain some (but no where near enough) movement to be able to stand and, with the aid of physio and a walking stick, walk again, albeit very slowly and unsteadily. Don't play with your health because you don't want to go to the hospital. It really isn't worth it.
That's so awful. So sorry you hear you had to go through that. Do you know what caused the brain abscess? Just an anomaly? ( I'll re-read, but don't remember hearing). Glad to hear after all that pain, paralysis, therapy and healing you're finally getting back to some kind of normal. I hope you continue to heal and become 100% mobile again!
20:08 **This started way before the internet, for me, It was 1987** Anyone who forces you to "play" the knockout game is an abuser, the key word here is force but I have heard so many people say it is just a game and his brother did not know it would hurt him. It is not a game and anyone with a brain knows limiting blood/oxygen cannot be a good idea. I hate my brother for so many things....
That Rocky guy was dumped out in the middle of nowhere. Some guys flagged him down, saying they'd run out of petrol, proceeded to get him drunk, and he passed out. He woke up in the middle of nowhere, and his car had been stolen. He somehow found a dam on an outback property, and one of the station hands found him. They did end up finding his car, I think it was up near Darwin, on the side of the road.
There's no mystery about Ricky's missing car. Its accepted in the outback that if you leave a vehicle for more than a few hours it's fair game. Its either raided for anything useful or simply driven off. Everyone does it. Spares are hard to get and expensive.
What an absolute legend of a sailor captain and MAN Mr Shackleton must have been! That's the kind of soul that other exceptional MEN will follow to the brink of the abyss and back again! For all our faults which are many humankind has produced some unbelievable men with unbelievable character! Salute
As for Ricky Megee in the story of him crossing through the Outback, I reckon it was Aliens. I don't mean it was them who dropped him off in the outback: I mean that I think it was Aliens that stole his car! 😂
The saying goes "When thunder roars, stay indoors." It's said to wait 30 minutes after you hear the last clap of thunder in order to be certain that the storm has passed.
Poor Brad, the psychological torment of wishing you never did the backflip while you're laying in that bed must be horrible. I have to commend him on his will to survive. I'm 50 years old if something like that happened to me I would insist they pull the plug. This man is far more courageous than I to face such an ordeal
It did happen to me! I tried walking as long as I could as the numbness crawled up my legs and then my waistline finally stopping at my chest. I cut myself at work on Friday and woke up sunday morning still fine at 7am. By noon that day I was a paraplegic. That was 3 years ago and after a few surgeries and a short stay at a rehabilitation center I learned to walk on legs I dont feel and how to manage my bowel and bladder. I'm back working full time and most people would never guess I was paralyzed from my chest to my toes and have a foot long scar down my spine from a laminectomy that allowed me to walk again.
The narrator has a pleasant, nice-sounding voice, and seems to speak English. Why couldn’t he make sure he knew how to pronounce the name of the fish that attacked the poor fellow? SMH
Some people love putting their life in danger In the worst places where it takes a long time to get help. Rip to all that lost their life. Be careful exploring mysteries.🙏😇🕊🌹
Thanks for the video. Just one gripe tho...As a chronic smoker for 35 yrs, and was very skeptical of it's ability to abate my habit...I started with a cig in one hand, my vape in the other. I broke my unbreakable addiction in 3 weeks... That was over 13 yrs ago. The 15 yr old...he had an underlying chronic condition. THAT'S what killed him. You'll find that in most of those cases...same thing, or they were buying juice made in "bathtubs"...from the shady guy in the alley. That's what caused 98% of hospitalization, or anything else. Smoking cigarettes would be more disastrous for ALL of them. But our big tobacco and big pharmacy don't care. Seems killing 'em and pretending to "cure" 'em makes them both VERY rich. In the UK they have a vape store in the hospital's lobby, the Canadians have broken faith with our nicotine mafia...and are backtracking their steps. The problem with most of y'all is that you believe whatever your told by the propagandist media. Vaping is saving millions of lives around the globe...leave it to our greed to try and kill it in it's crib...terrified it might take it's 1st steps. Please don't cause more people to lose their lives. Great vid, cheers!
Vaping is getting really bad here in Australia, school kids are doing it and getting sick, many teens are getting migraines and are complaining vaping is addictive, every one should just try and give up for the sake of their health.
I also used vaping to quit smoking and though it took me much longer than it did for you, I think it is an excellent way of reducing nicotine to zero over time. It has been my experience that most people that have had issues fall into one of two columns, it is infused with pot, or the user has a spike, not an electronic mod that will shut down if a short is present instead it blows a hole in your face. Never use a spike, the batteries do have a fail-safe but a short happens too fast to burn the sacrificial ring in the battery. Never use homemade juice with or without pot
@@rhodawedd8628 love Australia, BTW...was lucky enough to be sent there TDY while in the Air Force. Was truly one of the best experiences of my life...and like the huge boomerang that the many friends I made had me sign on the roof of my favorite pub...and was told that meant I would return...I feel the call deeply...like in my DNA, deep! Most health issues that teens here experience are due to counterfeit juice not being made safely, and possibly containing chemicals they shouldn't. The headaches can also be attributed to very high nicotine levels. I would never advocate for the use by kids...but just saying...as a guy who started smoking Winston Reds at 15..I wish they had vapes back then. *Devil's advocate *
Can’t believe there wasn’t even an honorable mention to Greg Brady during his trip to Hawaii when Bobby found that jacked up Tiki charm and basically ended up cursing Greg by putting it around his neck. This list is crap!
I love how dude mentioned the lady lost in the Arizona desert after rescue got some gas for her car and showed motor oil being poured way to go the detail was awesome
My thoughts exactly. Like all these people give a shit whether I'm having a boy or a girl. Just another reason to spend more money on something that is already expensive as hell. 😅😅
That makes zero sense logically Honestly how's a computer chip in a person's brain going to communicate with the lower body with no spinal cord replacement?? Just sayn
I was 21 got in a really bad wreck I had no feeling from waist down doctors told me I would never walk again I said hide and watch me a year and half later I was walking
Shackleton is a local hero here in NZ even though he's not a Kiwi because until he came along our country watched many people leave from our ports to get to Antarctica, and only a few would return, never successful and always half dead. The fact that he not only crossed the ocean on rafts, then WENT BACK and saved every single crew member solidifies him as a legend.
The mama dog was starving and knew she wouldn't be able to raise her pups. That is why she ate them. Her desperation is sad. Also people didn't know much about dogs back then. Sled dogs need alot of very high quality food.
Even more embarrassing for the boy whose 19:27 father died eating tacos is that no one, including himself, knew how to save a man from choking. Or CPR, apparently.
My sisters brother in law just died from choking at a restaurant... he was 43. Everyone tried CPR and even the medics had to use a tool to get it out but he went into cardiac arrest and was pronounced brain dead so they pulled the plug... even CPR doesn't always work
I had a 60 million years old sharks tooth which I dug out of a beach near Christchurch in Dorset. I wanted to have it mounted and intended to wear it on a necklace but before I had the chance, it got stolen! I know it's not the same but it did come from a VERY RARE shark!!
41:27 "Number 7, surfer lightning... you"ll never guess how she was killed." Umm, was it lightning?? Not only did you just say it, it was written on the screen and the same story was on 10 minutes ago.
This is why its not a good thing to venture out into distant places or unknown places because if an accident happens and you are trapped you might die.
They've been responsible for something like 4 or 6 sunken boat's with a handful of others that made it to Port with heavy damage. It's believed to be revenge attacks led by a dominant female they think has trauma caused by a boat.
Orcas are assholes. Seriously, big, beautiful jerks, who surround, play/ torture their food before killing it. They used to wear dead salmon as hats for a time.. u know, for fun. They can take out a great white shark (just to snack on the it’s liver); leaving the 🦈 to die slowly. Orcas R known to hold grudges. ONE Liberian orca taught her entire pod including juveniles how to specifically destroy a ship’s rudder….ask anyone currently trying to sail the straits of Gibraltar. A pod of bored Orca vs a yacht…pfft, even 100+ft yacht stands no chance!
The shark story with the lawsuit to keep the tooth is funny xD (considering the circumstances of course) 24:50 Regarding the Turkish rafting company 46:51, why would 6 years be too harsh?? They knew exactly what they are doing for years and years in an industry where a little negligence can easily mean death. I mean over 12 tourists in boats made for 8 and you send them down a raging river all the time and people got tossed out of the boats regularly, what do you expect what will eventually happen? They should have been punished harder than almost 6 years only.
Don’t even vape thc vapes unless you yourself get them from a legit vendor. Any state that doesn’t have legal recreational pot is littered with black market thc vapes.
I can’t imagine breaking my spine becoming a quad. The only thing worse would becoming a quad when you are an adrenaline junkie. How do you feed that need in a wheelchair?
I've Vaped for ten years and i do not know of any vape related deaths here in the UK, we all know how greedy the tobacco companies are in the USA, if people vape they lose money.
You know what’s crazy, is in the u.s. it costs 10 to 40 cents for pack of cigarettes… u factor medical bills and taxes here in Washington state is over 40$ a pack! Some packs for just to buy without those factors is up to 12$ a pack for some brands!!! That’s insane! 1200% markup! That just blows my mind
@@BboyEklypse yes it very targeted taxation. What they do with the tax is shocking given the inorganic focus the big pharm has. It hurts many and it is criminal.
If a man takes a loaded, tensioned weapon and points it at his face, he deserves to take a spear. Even a rudimentary gun safety course will explain that rule; don’t point your weapon at anything you don’t wish to destroy. Ps: I’m glad that he survived. I’m glad that it hurts. He’ll make a full recovery and be a wiser man for it.
What’s a beer and doodoo cattle station? Anyone know? Even Google didn’t come up with anything lol 😂 I also think the guy living for 400 days on the ocean ate his partner. Just my thought I mean your eating animal blood how far off are you from cannibalism? Spooky 😱
ricky the guy who stupidly wandered through the outback was an American visitng australia, and while his survival skills decided to turn to soup and ooze out his nose. when he was found he had to pay for the rescue as he planned to wander the desert, and his america ego (yes, at one point he did not want help and thought he would be fine because he traveled the american desert, and thought it would take a day) pushed all sense out his orifices.
An uncle of mine was once spear fishing and a shark swam into the mouth of the river he was in and grabbing his fish. He escaped with a minor wound in the leg and of course without the fish
I think if the company for the river rafting was smart enough to make people sign waivers before going on the raft they would have been jail free. You assume responsibility for your own actions when you sign a liability waiver. Most businesses where dangerous activities take place, well most intelligent business owners I should say will enforce this
Obviously, the Australian had his car stolen left in a place where 20% of the people decended from criminals strange, but true lol Gender reveals are just a waste of money, as too many people are changing genders nowadays. That was a great and disturbing video
I know a guy whose car went down a 400 foot cliff, hitting ledges, in his truck. Tire chains flew all over the interior of the cab. Just as he became conscious and started to yell, a couple of people stopped to look at the view and he was rescued. He was only beat up, not that badly injured.
That’s has injured many magicians we had a magician that retired escape artistry when his trick failed he got injured survived but does local game shows
I was swimming off the cost of Nazare Portugal not knowing the fierce reputation Mazare has for high waves. It was only in 2019 that a Maverick surfer successfully surfed a 100 foot wave. Well, in 2001 I was swimming at the beach and took a couple of little 6 foot waves; no big deal but out of nowhere, the sand got pulled out from under me and I turned to see a 25 foot wave coming for me. It was large enough for me to hesitate for a second while it coiled up like a viper. I was going to run away but survival kick in over fear and I turned toward the wave, ran into it hands first, cut through the breaker and rode the crest in. Needless to say I didn't get back in the water at Nazare again.
Yeah, I think you’re right it was aliens. This story has aliens written all over it. I knew it was gonna happen. It’s only a matter of time they’re gonna come for me too but I’m gonna pretend like I’m not here you won’t see me.
His father couldve taught his what females were based on monkeys having females and giving birth. Especially macaques tend to be easy to watch. ie there are female/mom, slightly smaller versions of us too, that also have babies.etc
Has anyone ever listened or watched kids when they leave school? Maybe it's just nyc area but these "kids" Come by like a herd of crazy 🤪 wild Buffalo 🐃! They break anything unfortunate to be in their line of sight. They curse worse than I've ever heard any adult. They fight with each other non stop. And the way of group of kids works is that they get excited they're going to do something and then they happen to see an item sitting somewhere and someone says hey hit him with that and then they all join in.
