Jollof Rice comes from Sénégal... The Word Jollof itself is from Senegal. Jollof is one of the empires in Senegal which happened centuries ago. Most of the Wolof ethnics comes from that empire Jollof. And now the Word Jollof is also used as a nickname of Senegal particulary for the Senegaleses of the Diaspora. For a city tour, I recommend you to start from VDN all the way down in Point E then from Point E you drive right in Fann Residence which in one of the first rich People neighborhood in Dakar. Do not forget to pass by the Cheikh Anta Diop University and from there you can reach the Corniche where you can discover the Huge outdoor Gym and Glamour restaurants, Hôtels and beaches. Then to finish with Downtown Dakar where you can see The Presidential House, the highest buildings and the Independent Place. And those are just some places of Dakar because there are others.
@@kabbabrema2866they do actually ,you pay tourist tax in many places in Europe if you go there , I had to £20 tourist tax just for visiting when I arrived the hotel in Spain ,some places they ask even more .
Mr. Kenneth: Thanks you guys so much for this new remarkable video this weekend from Dakar, Senegal to shows these amazing places on the streets in great joy in West Africa 2024❤❤❤
I am from Angola and I was fortunate to visit Dakar, Senegal and, I experienced many good things. I visited the Monument de la Rennaissense African (sorry bad spelling) , Almadies, Ngore, Mamel neighbourhood, Ashlam Grand Yofe, Marche Sandaga and downtown Dakar. We need to meet to brak the sterotype exixtent among Africans. We need to come together, enjoy and solve our problems together. to My friends: Ibrahim Gakou El Adji Gakou...and Moctar
Dakar looks more beautiful now than in 2019 when I visited. Engaging a tour guide on Goree Island is ideal if you want to learn about the rich history and historic buildings on the Island. I was shown the guest house for the president on the island. There is also a museum on the island. FUN FACT: Those big guns on Goree Island featured in the 1961 movie "Guns of Navorone"
Much love from the United States! I wish I had some contact so I could visit! I am retired in the U.S and cannot go home in Haiti. I would admire to see the big, tall statue of the strong black god, his beautiful goddess, and the child resting in his powerful arm. I am grateful of how Senegalese embracing their fellow Haitians over there.
Mr. Kenneth: Welcome to this amazing beaches in Dakar, Senegal today’s in West Africa with thousands of people having great times in peace August of 2024❤❤❤
A Ghanaian and a Nigerian enjoying Diolof rice in senegal. This video should tour the world as we all agreed now that semegalese diolof rice is the best in Africa 😂😂😂😂😂
The first and the best jollof, and whenever i see Ghana and Nigeria arguing it's just funny, Senegalese are just there very calm. Ask a Ghanaian or Nigerian the meaning of jollof, they won't tell you.
Thx man I really appreciate ur content since ur startingbfrom nigeria I follow ur guys Hope u really enjoye ur self one day I will be visiting nigeria Incha Allah as a Senegalese man but I recommande 4 ur next trip take a Scort man who make u visit the iland good luck bro
Thank you for visiting Dakar and Goree Island, but you miss the most attracting site ,the House of the Slaves. The historic buulding where people were gathered before putting them on boat to America.
Point of correction Stop saying we maybe you can say you are left behind not we. what is in this video you cant find in Nigeria. I am not currently in Nigeria i am planning to be in Nigeria soon but right now i will tell you for free that Nigeria is far better than many countries i have visited, the only different between we and them is that you can see them come online talking bad against their country in which most Nigerians normally do.
@TrillionEddy stop lying to yourself ok. Bad roads, open gutters, epileptic electricity, fuel scarcity, kidnapping, etc. He didn't even go through top places in Dakar yet and it's better than anything in Nigeria. Those ugly rickety Danfo yellow buses and agberos under bridges in lagos, they have better transport system, better railway system, Rule of law etc. Travel and widen your horizon, ok
Rely your ignorance is too much this your comment you don't know anything how many city we have in Nigeria. how many standard cities Senegal have after the Darka. I am not surprised after I check your name I know who you are
What makes Gorre island famous is the "Point of entry and point of no return" If you did not see it, then, you have not visited Gorre island. Go back and revisit to see and show the "point of entry and point of no return."
Thank you to show the world my country. But because with the price if you need to buy something Lol because grandma she 150cfa the other young girl said 500cfa 😂😂
Nigeria is way behind looking to all his potential,200000000 people, top producer in gaz and oil in africa !all the natural ressources !!only lagos is more populated than the whole senegal!😮
I visited Goree Island in 2017. Nice for highlighting it. But it is disappointing that you didn't visit the Dungeon European used to visit hell on Africans during enslavement. It was specifically built to hide kidnapped Africans until the ships arrived. The water was intentionally infested with alligators and sharks as a way to prevent kidnapped Africans from swimming back to the mainland. Honestly, I wish every African of school age will visit Badagry (Nigeria), Elmina (Ghana), and Goree (Senegal). It provides great history lessons that our people badly needed as part of African history. This can never be allowed to happen again to us as people. The Catholic Church played tremendous role and made a lot of money in the enslavement of Africans.
Djolof rice its like u say senegal rice...djolof means like senegal in Senegal,so they call it djolof rice because its tipical senegalese the way is made...
You missed to climb on the fort and visit no point of return. Why???. Those that you missed are the reason the island was important to the colonisers and oppressors of the unsuspecting Africans. Visit again.
Try presenting without sunglasses, you are better not pretentious. I have been to the same city/country, I love it plus that Island Goree, there is a smaller one also name....don't Yoff or Maison Bonheur
I told you to be careful ⚠️ about the prices for this fruit that you ate, the old lady told you that it costs 150fcfa in Wolof but you misunderstood and you paid 500fcfa instead of 150fcfa.
You are overplaying everything which makes you seem like someone who is very provencial. Let the scenery tell the story. Your click bate title is embarassing.
Stop that nonsense Ghana girls are not even attractive and I'm from Ghana. Senegalese girls are tall with beautiful dark skin. Compare other West African countries like Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Ivory coast, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Nigeria and you will see Ghana girls are the bottom
@@johnmike8114you are 😡 lost. Your Nigerian men are in awe with light skinned women that is who 99% of Nigerian women bleach their skin tones. Senegalese women are dark and not attractive to Nigerian men because of it. You all wants light skinned women. You call Ghanaian women u g l y because they are dark skinned and curvy. Pathetic
Mr. K you did not visit the house (gate of no return) which is the main attraction… I was there ten years ago … everything in the Island was natural… Next time look for an escort services…❤❤❤❤ USA
