I think after Harry Potter did it and made a gazillion dollars everyone thought they could as well- but what they miscalculated is that Harry Potter has diehard fans that have to know how the story ends. That's why Hunger Games and Twilight also got away with it and made lots of money. Fast and Furious tried the same approach and it did not work out for them at all. Because ultimately these are contained action stories- not really an ongoing narrative. So that's why 7 bombed so hard at the box office.

The fights scene is good but, the scenes is supposed to hold long for the audience to feel the rhythm of fight scenes and making it easy to watch, not watching shots cut in every 1 or 3 hits
