Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?

The movie itself was really dumb, but man, the sea battle scenes are world-class.

imagine being able to travel through space but you cant even put bulletproof glass on your spaceship

That ain't gonna sink this battleship no way ...The legendary dialogue 😎

This was an underrated fun movie to watch. Much better than I thought it would be. I also missed the fact that the enemy rounds are peg shapes from the orginal board game! hah nice touch.

Kinda surprised that this was not directed or had any connection with Michael Bay! The style and overall aesthetic of the film really reminds me of his films.

This is honestly one of those movies that just never gets old.

I lost it when I realized that the alien munitions were in the shape of the pegs from the board game!!! LOL

1:13 I like how they had to significantly change the fire rate of the CIWS so people could actually understand that it's shooting at the incoming shredders lmao

i dont care what anyone says, 6:04 with the broadside turn with the guitar picking up will forever be the best part of this movie

Whoever designed the shredder drones was a genius.

Can you believe I started watching this movie without knowing nor realizing that it's supposed to be an adaptation of the board game? It only dawned on me during the scene where they are bombing the grid. Whatever people think of the movie, that was actually an amazing experience, that sudden realization, and one that I'm sure only extremely few people in the world did experience with this movie.

why don't they make movies like this anymore?

It’s nice to see Navy get some recognition since 95% of them are never in danger unlike Army or Marines. So ya know, good for them for making them feel good. 👍

god i love movies like this where its insurmountable odds and yet somehow they still manage

Love the fact that these aliens managed to travel to another planet but are sensitive to sun light, dont have windows that can resist 50 cal bullets or higher and didnt put a shield on their spaceships to prevent easy destruction from heavy explosives

I like how even the cheese-whiz mount was firing, even though it should've blasted those tomahawks right out of the sky the moment they left their vls cells lmao.

You missed a couple of big moments from the earlier part of the movie. Some people went hiking 😅

as underrated as this movie is, and I'll give credit where it's due, the how they handled everything in the movie was dumb, the premise is good and the action scenes are phenominal imo. I like this movie for what it is, and I do want a second one, it sucks that we never got it tho

Kinda like Pacific rim 2. The structure of the movie was wild, but the battle scenes were fucking sick.

I have to say. The *idea* of "the board game Battleship as a movie but make one side literal aliens" is extremely absurd, and admittedly at some points the movie is extremely campy - but for all that, they ACED the battle scenes, especially the ones at sea.

I went inside the theatre after a fight with my gf, needed a break, there were 4 guys in that entire theatre and we all ended up hitting a bar after the movie and we couldnt stop talking and laughing about it ..

Film has lots of pointless filler. Would have liked to see a large fleet battle between the Pacific Joint fleet and an equal if not larger alien fleet. Battleship U.S.S. Missouri will always be cool though.
