Tony is inspiring, a true self made man. Love this podcast! I can't be the only that is dying for a Tony special episode to give us an in depth insight on how car sales work. Where he gets stock and how he buys and sells the cars for profit.
Ppl complaining about the ad, just move past it....its not a YT ad that you cant skip cmon. I'd rather this and BTG keep giving me insights on supercars that I'd never have otherwise. Sam, Tony I'd love more episodes that go into depth about individual supercars you've owned....esp the 100k ones and whether you though they were worth it. This episode was one of the best yet!! 👏
Right.so easy to skip through it. Also think about the fact that the ad means they are getting financial support. Which means we can keep on watching these episodes every week. For free.
Got to say, you cannot but love Tony! He’s such a humble guy who’s clearly worked his arse off to get where he is and own such incredible cars! Fair play to the man 👏🏼
I love the F12 TDF and the 488 Pista a friend from Monaco has both and uses them properly, two of the funniest cars I've ever driven in my life!! But they are cars for those who have some experience behind the wheel!
I've only had the chance to be in the passenger seat of the Pista n I was straight up subconsciously tryin to hit the brake pedal when things started to go blur. Insane machine, but I'd still have the 458 Speciale over it.
I only bought 3 cars in my entire life (42), still own 2 of them 😊 BMW E46 325ti (sold), BMW E92 335i Coupé (daily), Porsche Cayman 981 GT4 (weekender)
Another great episode. What a journey for STG. Been along for the ride since the Alfa. Much love from Montreal. You gotta try to make it here for the F1 one year. City is alive and the track has always been a driver favourite. Would love to hear some more of Tony’s hooligan stories as well!! 👊
My car history 1. Ford Fiesta mk2 XR2 2. Audi A3 1.8T 02 reg 3. Audi S3 03 reg 4. Audi B5 RS4 ( still own) 5. Renaultsport Megane R26 (still own) Next is either 981 cayman S or M2 ??
Great video. If the editor could keep up with the images of any car they talk about (not just the main topics) that would be great. Thank you it's been a great improvement ❤️. Great podcast guys!!
Great work on the podcast as always, enjoy listening every time. I keep seeing the "new design" STG hat in videos here and on the main channel as well. Any plans to put it into production for us?
I love listening to this ! I’ve had dozens of junk cars,It’s took me to 49 to get a BMW Z4 coupe 🤣,but I love it and that’s what this is all about ! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I’d say it’s just a personal choice, I’d had 6 or 7 by the time I was 21. As they said I wanted to experience different cars. Didn’t have much money, just cracked on if I thought it was time for a change or saw something I liked, I sold current car and bought something else. I think a lot of people think it’s a big decision buying a different car - maybe it should be but I quickly broke that mould in my head! Am 42 and am on my 32nd car! On the flip side, my mate has only had 6 in that time.
Being 56, it was nice to listen to Tony buying montego/ maestro/ golfs/cavs/ pugs etc as cheap run a rounds. I remember listing after them all,BUT they were brand new in my day 😲
Bang on about experiencing different cars. Nothing annoys me more than people piling up “thought you said this was a keeper”. Or passing judgement on cars they haven’t tried or owned! I’m 42 and on a smaller scale than you guys I’ve experienced a few different cars having owned about 32! A 330Ci Sport was my first proper high quality car, a bit older than you guys I was about 26 or 27 I think. That’s not to knock many of the others I had before it though.
Fabulous episode. Brilliant stories from both of you but I think Tony needs to write a book- ‘A life in cars,’ about all the cars he’s had and the stories and people that go with them. I would buy it!😂
Really nice to reminace with you on this one Tony. Remember many of those cars that you mentioned especially the time that you turned up with a couple of mates in the back of your impreza turbo and let me have a spin around some Surrey lanes. If I remember rightly it was a bit of a vomit ride!
Anyone in south west London used to remember the amazing second hand car dealer Pullichinos. Amazing place. Wooden gates. Went in there to look at super cars and you’d stumble upon EB110 Bugatti’s
next time start with a welcome instead of a mortgage commercial. PS > early Koenigsegg are a handful sometimes. but the manual aspect of it is priceless!
I had a C6 A6 with the 4.2 V8 and yes the fuel economy was abysmal but I put about 150,000 miles without many issues. I was in secondary school and oh my it felt bonkers pulling up in it. Then switched it out for a manual E46 M3 convertible which was so unreliable but still loved that car
My cars: Ford Fiesta ST-first car and than: VW Up, VW Polo, Mazda 3 Mps, VW Golf GTI, Range Rover Evoque, BMW 435i convertible, BMW X3, Mercedes GLE diesel, Mercedes GLE AMG 53 and last order BMW M440i convertible
hey not sure if you heard about the La Ferrari Mule car. it's a 458 with the V12 hybrid powertrain. it's up for sale, thought it might be an interesting talking point. big fan, keep up the shows, thanks
the Audi S3 picture with the polish national stadium in the back haha, that gen A3/S3 the most popular choice besides an E36 for a slav street racer in Poland, so of course the pictures Ben would come across would be from here!
On subject of dangerous cars S2000, RX7 and MR2 are I hear. Regards Pista as someone that recently did a 180 into a fence in a GT86 due to damp road, tyres not warm, too much steering input round a corner. I can imagine how easy it is to spin out a Ferrari Pista and lose control.
Great episode - thanks guys. Tony - completely agree with your approach on mixing personal and business on social media, and have shared many of your cars in my life thus far, Regretting selling most tbh, otherwise I would be sat on a small fortune :-)
