Actually, the names of the new emotions are at the end of the trailer. The teal one is envy. The pink one is embarrassment. The orange one is anxiety. The grayish purple one is ennui.
Bro they used the most complicated names for these emotions like what is "ennui"? Also, why does anxiety exist if fear already exists? Edit: MAMAA I'M FAMOUS
@@fruitsandgeometry26, anxiety is a very specific kind of fear, but I agree, it would've been better to have anxiety as a new extra function for Fear. I think Ennui = Annoyance, but they should've used a simple name, like Annoyance, which is actually connected to anger and disgust, so that should be a new function for Anger and Disgust together. As a matter of fact, impatience and passion are connected to each other and to joy, so they should be new jobs for Joy; Envy can be connected to anger and disgust, so Anger and Disgust working together to create that emotion would be cool; Embarrassment = sadness + disgust, so Sadness and Disgust working together for this would be cool. That would've been my approach if I were writer.
@@Firespark7 Actually! Ennui is a fancier more scientific name for "Dissatisfaction" so my thought process is to make it like a name like Joy, Fear, Anger etc. Ennui sounds better than "Hi I'm Dissatisfaction" so in reality they are bringing to light a new name that no one has heard of hence educating people! :D
They did it so fast that you have to use frame by frame tools unless you are good at pressing the pause button. Anxious is Orange. Envious is light blue Embarrassed is pink Ennui is dark blue. Ennui is basically a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of Occupation or excitement which is probably the cause of all teenagers favorite line of WHATEVER.
I think Anxiety has different eye color because we tend to perceive some situations way differently than they actually are which makes us feel anxious. It's all about the perceiption :D
Easter Eggs: Joy has blue hair, which means she has a bit of sadness. Sadness has yellow cheeks, which means she has a bit of joy. Anger has a green zig-zag on his tie, which means he has a bit of disgust. Disgust has a purple neck bandana, which means she has a bit of fear. Fear has a red bowtie, which means he has a bit of anger. Anxiety has green eyes, which means she has a bit of disgust.
I think so too. what the puberty alarm probably means is that when the puberty button flashes, new emotions come to control Riley with the core emotions.
Which is confusing why they in the trailer said several year later I imagine if someone says several to be more than seven they should have just said a bit over a year
I want a third movie to end a trilogy, in the third movie i want riley as a grown up watching the relationship of riley and her daughter/son (mother son will be a great new concept to disney that never did a mother son relationship)
@@Uripinkas Riley is a girl and a pus adopted mom and kid has the same type of relationship, it doesn’t matter the difference or species in this case. Kala took in and raised Tarzan as her own, so that’s good enough to fit any book.
I thought the new emotions where Teal: Envy Pink: Embarrassment Orange: Anxiety And Dark Purple: Ennui (which pretty much means boredom or dissatisfaction)
Riley is 12... At the end of the movie, Joy says "Riley is 12 now, what's the worst that could happen" or something like that, like she said at the beginning of the movie but 11 and everything went wrong
The other emotions in order on the poster are Envy, Embarrassment, anxiety and Ennui(boredom) if you slow down the end of the trailer it lists all the other new emotions. Also In the poster it looks like either embarrassment has very long arms or there’s two new pink emotions.
did y'all not see the sequence where they named what we'll feel while watching? the new emotions are: anxiety embarrassment ennui envy y'all were close though.
This is a nice idea but as periods usually start to occur a couple of years into puberty / a couple of years after the first signs of puberty I don't think this will be the case. :3
@@ele-sme4477Notice I said "usually". That is very early. Although, if you don't mind me asking, did you have any other signs of puberty before your period started and were they a year or two before your period occurred?
@@ele-sme4477 Also, I based the comment from two weeks ago on the fact that Riley is entering puberty. You may have started at 10 years of age but I expect Riley will be slightly later than average.
Did anyone notice that the laughter is from the song it's going to be me and that it reflects Turning Red when Mei finds out that she's turned into a red pand?
not sure why, and i doubt this is actually whats happening... but i almost felt like the reason anxiety has different eyes is because hes going to have a big role like Joy. maybe not as big. could be possible Riley has an anxiety disorder and not just general anxiety. like i said, doubt it. but i feel like there could be a reason why Anxiety stand out with their eyes.
my predictions of the new emotions:teal/green=envy sine shes the cutest and most likely to have a big ego and wants all the attentions, pink=embarrassment since shes the biggest and most likely to mess up riley and get embaress, orange is obv axiety, purple = annoyed or fearless since the eyes are a bit like annoyed and has a long nose or maybe its lying bc of a ponochio reference
In terms of emotions you are correct on all except the dark purple (or blue) one. In the trailer they use a fancy word that basically means boredom (Ennui). They look very bored in the poster. Also, I wouldn't assign genders yet. Let the characters introduce themselves.
Disney probably only makes sequels because they only rely on old stories instead of mailing new ones. Yes this is new but still the same story just not put together.
Don’t want to assume but I imagine that they might talk about periods since shes starting puberty, can’t wait for people to freak out about it does show up
I didn't miss that she had braces, but I did miss the spot on her chin. I DID notice how Riley's hair's still blond, despite being older now, and her eyes are blue, unlike her brown-eyed brown-haired parents. Maybe, besides puberty, she'll be dealing with learning she's adopted.
I disagree I'm the only kid in both sides of the family to have green eyes in the last 3 generations, everybody else has brown or blue, sometimes hazel but not often I've taken a DNA test and I am biologically relayed
Nowhere does it say this films takes place soon after the events of the first film. We see a memory of her 13th birthday in the trailer. The film can take place anytime after that. Riley could be 14 or 15 for all we know.
12 year old Riley and 13 year old Riley look extremely different from each other. She changed A LOT in just one year. Usually on someone's 13th birthday they don't look that different from when they turned 12. In fact, Riley looks like another person in this sequel.
Changing that much in only a year is possible Me for example I looked like I was 9 when I was 11 but as soon as 12 hit I could look older than I actually was
She went from 11 in the first movie to 13 now so it's deffinetly been over a year. The body and mind go through ALOT of changes between that time. Remember going from elementry school to middleschool and seeing how diffrent everyone looked just over the summer? Same affect
She basically just grew her hair and got braces. The rest of it is only bcz of the improvement in the animation over the years. Remember the first movie came out 7-8 yrs ago.
@@HazelNutAndTheBirds She was 12 at the end of the first movie, and still looked the same as she was at 11. So while she was 12, Riley's hair and face changed a lot, and we see how much she changed during that time on her 13th birthday. So half of the time Riley was 12, she looked like she did in the original, and the other half of the time she was 12, she looked completely different. Its weird.
The fact it's Ben a decade since the 1st inside out movie makes me sad 😭 because it reminds me of my childhood I was 8 yearsold back in 2015 and I didn't see it in theaters but i saw on TV in 2015 and it was a good movie I am 16 as of 2023 and I wish i could go back to the 2010s as it was nostalgia for me but mabye the brighter days will return have hope😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Try not to get caught up in the trap of nostalgia. Sure, some things suck, but some things have always sucked. You just didn't notice them as a kid. And some things are good now. Some things have always been good. It's just hard to see when we're so busy romanticizing the past that we fail to see the present. Try to be present. Try to look around you. And see that there's still beauty and wonder in the world. There's still amazing things to look forward to. You just have to remember to see them.
Same, but I'm fifteen! I was seven when this movie came out and I watched it in the theaters, and I was OBSESSED! I still kinda am, but it was strong, back then! I can't believe they're making a second one! SUPER EXCITED!!!!
@@Laylayslayslay1246 yes i can understand that envy can look teal but i dont get its facial expression. My theory/guess is that envy is literally envious of others and want to be like it?
I rewatched the move a few days ago and noticed that they might hint toward anxiety in the first movie, when first lost there are both orange and yellow memories. Or am I overthinking this.
@@salazarslytherin7766 The trailer spells out which colour is which. The Inside Out emotions from the first film are written in their respective colours and then Anxious (Anxiety) is written in orange, Envious (Envy) is written in teal (bluish one), Ennui (Boredom) is written in dark purple, and Embarrassment is written in pink.
I laughed at the fact you were very far from right with all 3 emotions. Teal is envy (jealousy), pink is embarrassment, and the new purple one is ennui (boredom)
That would be nice to see, I kinda hope they touch on that numbness in the movie too, I know it wasn’t really a thing but it would be nice to see what it really is being someone who’s starting to really space out, go on autopilot, etc.
If you go to the end of the official trailer where it says the feel (emotion words change) those words changing are the new emotions you would either have to be good at pausing of go frame or frame and they colour coded I remember there was anxiety, ennuie the purple one with the long nose (bored, disinterested) which makes sense his face said it all😂, embarrassed the cute big eyed one (the face I'm sure most of us make and silently hope nobody saw us trip or whatever 😂😭) and envy the large one coz let's be honest when we envious it's a big feeling
What I want to know is how the filmmakers are going to square the arrival of these new emotions with the fact that in the first film, ONLY the primary 5 emotions (Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, Disgust) were running the "control room" in the heads of the adults we saw into (though those adult 5 were more mature and nuanced than Riley's). Side-Note: I always found it interesting that the "leader" emotions in these adults varied person to person (example: Dad's was Anger, and Mom's was Sadness). Do these teen, hormonal emotions only gain control during puberty? Or do they integrate with the primary emotions as their person enters into adulthood?
Did you know that joy has blue hair for sadness and green dress for discust because one of each for the girls in rileys head if you understand what i mean
You're right that in the first film Riley was 11, but at the very end, when Riley is playing hockey with her new team, Joy says, "Riley's 12 now...." So, she had a birthday sometime after the family moved to San Francisco. Thus, the new movie takes place about a year after the end of the first movie.
Also the personality of island has 5 again, the last movie and Riley’s first date they had 9 islands and now if you look carefully it went back to 5 again can somebody explained to what happen in a video?
aww man i wish i can be voice acting too in inside out movie IS THERE GONA BE OART THREE OMG PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO JOIN ITS MY DREAM TO BE IN A MOVIE
