@Andrew Bailey Yes, but you were being not only an asshole but a brain melting one. If I was more reasonable and less irritated I could have more productivley asked ' 'Why do you want to corrupt the current discourse, what do you gain from this bullshit?'' Alas, I did not and as such I continue to contain multitudes and succumb to my own similar flaws. I can at least comfort myself knowing that caring for animals doesn't much compare to murdering them.
@Andrew Bailey Well I genuinely feel much worse now the idea that feeding eggs to foxes is somehow almost equally as bad as working a slaughterhouse I think put a hair up my ass. My response was unfair because it was illogical and emotionally driven. My sincerest apologies I will try to be more thoughtful not only around you but others in the future, I should have turned this off for an hour before offering either response.
My German Shepherds always loved a raw egg mixed in their food. Makes them eat fast and lick the bowl clean. Plus a cheap way to give them good nutrition.
I'm so happy I came across your videos. They are adorable. I can't understand why anyone would want them for their fur...it's stunning right where it is/right where it belongs. You're amazing for all you do for them.
I did know that there where different colours for certain types of foxes just not this wide. Like it's still beautifull but also a little weird seing a dark coloured almost black fox.
to people asking about valentine's mouth: he has gingival hyperplasia, which causes his gums to overgrow. they talk about it in some of their other videos. he's not in pain and he has surgery to have them trimmed once a year.
Wow!!!❤❤❤ So Many Beautiful Foxes❤❤❤ You are doing such a good service for these Special Animals. I am so Thankful there are "Special People" like You in Our & the Foxes' World 🌎 ❤️. Your Land of Acres Is Being put to good use.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
They are so sweet, some more skiddish than others, but all are very happy, even the slightly neurotic foxes. The singular way they vocalize is such a sweet, mixture of laughter and ecstasy. I find your videos to be uplifting, and help to raise awareness about this amazing species, as the saying "like a fox in a henhouse" portrays foxes to be villains, when they are showing their intelligence and cunning. I love to see them enjoy affection from humans; it makes me realize that there are still a few good, genuinely altruistic people in the world. Isn't a fox shaul something that was popular in the 1920's; I didn't realize that foxes were raised for their coats still, assuming that fur is offensive, cruel and obsolete! I can't imagine anyone that is a person of quality who would wear fur.
@@QuigleTheGnome That is terrible, but at least a cool outcome is the originality and pizzaz that they have. Sucks that it had to come from those though
I see a lot of beauty, love, sweetness and tenderness here 🙂😇 ... this is really deeply heartwarming ❤😊 ... I think that love for our 4 paws friends is also a very good way to reconnect to ourselves ... Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful videos ❤❤ ...
Aaaaaaah, it's so cute how each of these foxes have their own personalities, like how they're assertive or shy, playful or direct, hyper or chillin', I love it
@@sinnamontoastcrunch. Of course, no one should take that as a backhanded insult because you clearly added a smiley face. Being passive aggressive is still you being aggressive
I never knew there was such a variety of fox colors and patterns until I started watching this channel. And I LOVE how excited they get for their egg! They're like my cat whenever I'm cooking. "You have something for ME?"
There's a ritual in our house. My spouse gets ready for dinner, and the cats sit right by him, waiting for their "snips". I cook a little extra meat, then snip it with kitchen shears into small bite-sized pieces. It's hilarious.
@@Jose04537 Thank you for that information. I, too, was wondering about all the wonderful colors and patterns. After liberating the animals, every fur farm should be razed. Like the Romans razed Hattusha; there wasn't much beyond rubble to show anything had ever been there. I wear leather, because I eat beef, why waste hide? I wear deerskin, my kin hunts for meat in the freezer! Not racks, again, though, why waste the hide? I don't know anyone who eats fox, mink, or any other animal 'farmed' for it's fur. That is wrong on so many levels! These are beautiful animals. Those coats look better on them than on a human.✌😸

Hello! Where are your lucky rescued foxes & in what State? Good fun watching each fox gently take his/her egg! What fascinates me is how many different varieties & fur colourings there are. They are so sweet & I love their "mewing". "Great Job" you do caring for them so well.../2 Joan xx
@@thert.hon.thelordnicholson7261 Dude's playing the long con. Get egg, hatch egg, get chicken, chicken lay egg, get more egg. This is Felix's world, and we're all just living in it.
We think of them as calm, mysterious creatures, which is why the “Cat software” saying is popular. But you watch actual videos and realize that no, they’re not calm creatures at all
Golden Retrievers have a very similar phenomenon with their mouth grip. They are extremely gentle with their mouths, and that's usually why they're considered great pets to have with young children
I think you are the most amazing family ever! Thank you for your sacrifice and all that you do for these beautiful animals! I love watching your videos. THANK YOU!!!
I like how they all have their own personalities. Some were hesitant when it came to the human, others came for the egg and moved on, and still more were like "Human! Give me attention, egg can wait!"
My goodness, how floofy everyone is getting ready for winter! Just gorgeous, and so stinkin' sweet. Hugs to you, Mikayla, for the great work you do in saving these babies!
I love how patient you are with the ones that are hesitant. Not feeling well this evening but this brought a smile to my face. Thank you for all the great content, you’re a lovely human.
I must say I am envious of you getting to spend so much time with these beautiful animals 😻 I also didn't realize they could climb trees !!!! Lesson learned for me. Thank you for giving them a safe haven 🥰
I used to give my border collie eggs. He loved them. He would carry them around in his mouth like a precious object. He'd never break them, he just wanted to hold them I think.
EDIT: If anyone else pings me, I swear I'm deleting this comment. I once heard someone describing foxes as "dog hardware running cat software" and seeing them climb onto objects and trees here I can definitely see why
@@elizabethh.9556 Fun Fact: Hyenas closest relatives are mongooses and meerkats. You'd never know by looking at them. Edit: You can actually see their resemblance to the African Civet, although it is further up the infraorder.
@Phyllis Cole There's another comment that says he has some sort of gum condition. The vet is waiting on speciality tools apparently. Valentine is a trooper to put up with that.
@Phyllis Cole to be honest I am not sure. If the vet is ordering the tools though I would hope they at least think whatever Valentines has can be treated.
I love how they all have such unique personalities! It's cool to see some thrilled, a couple who could care less, others who'd rather sleep, some burying them. Really neat video!
Seeing these foxes so elated to get an egg makes me happy. I've personally been struggling a lot recently so videos like these always brighten my day :)
Heeey there fellow depressed person 🙋♂️. I've been severely depressed for about a year and a half now, I don't have the will to get put of bed or eat most days, usually just sleep and cry out of emotional and literal physical pain. I haven't resorted to "takin the old dirt road home" yet if you know what I'm sayin 😉 but I actually broke some knuckles in both of my hands the other day while having a psychotic break, soooooooo just know you aren't alone
@@jerrysmith520 You are not alone in feeling this way. I don't have the willpower to end it but I thoroughly understand the pain you must be going through and I sincerely hope you find your way out of it.
@@Kermit_E_Frog thanks man, I've been contemplating on going to the doctor but I know they'll just give me a bunch of pills and I don't want to feel happy just because I'm high off of meds. I've also thought about going to a therapist or a group meeting but actually saying my problems out loud really makes me feel pathetic and the last thing i want is sympathy or to be patrionized by a person who doesn't have crippling depression or anxiety. I know what o have to do to try and be better but I just choose to stay in bed instead because the weight of my thoughts weigh me down and also the literall weight I feel in my chest 😔
@@jerrysmith520 Don't be put off therapy. I know exactly what you mean about feeling pathetic and not wanting to be pitied. But therapy and medicine can really help. Maybe look into CBT? That can give you tools to help manage things yourself. And seriously, if you are having suicidal ideation and harming yourself, then please, please reach out and get some help. Best wishes.
The different reactions of each of these foxes upon receiving their eggs are priceless. Some are totally indifferent. Some take them and bury them. Some eat them right on the spot. Still others run off with the eggs as if it’s the last egg on earth and their very existence depends on that egg.
T is a good time and a little better but we can go over there 👉 get the boys to the gym then I have the boys in my house 🏠 I’m just not home 🏡 don’t know how much longer is the right side of the car 🚘 I’m just trying a different place for my birthday 🎂 but we can get some more 🎊 then if 😢 can come to my room if we need it then we could just have it on our porch for the weekend or whatever it will take me and the girls 👧 and then I’ll come get ABCDEFGHJ ABa ABCDEFGK
@@karamoonstonewolf2534 yea but then how would they get eggs in the wild then? I heard or read somewhere a while ago that foxes had eggs in their diet, but never really bothered to think more on it until now. I wonder what other criteria in the wild do that people don't usually think they can do.
@@bethanydavis9023Okay thank you. I don’t know much about foxes, but I can give you a l m o s t every detail about wolves! I’m a wolf fanatic, you should see my room lol.
Vixie seemed so polite. if anyone's curious about Valentine's mouth like i was, it seems to be a genetic deformity called Gingiva Hyperplasia, where his gums constantly continue to grow. i also found notes that this effects fur quality in those afflicted, but i havent verified that
Yes I was immediately worried for Valentine and wondering what was wrong with his mouth. Thanks for the clarification. He looks like he's an elder fox and I thought maybe his teeth had fallen out and he had a really bad infection. Poor boy. I hope he isn't in any pain. I'm glad he is being looked after by a good steward of the Earth. This is the way humans are supposed to be to the Earth and nature. Not hostile and destructive.
I’m just glad he’s still eating, playing, happy, and loved by Mikayla and the foxes. Valentine is such a trooper, and Mikayla is super awesome for giving all the care he needs.🦊🦊❤️
@@Mc-lv3rq I totally agree Mc23 that humans are suppose to be stewards of the Earth which includes wildlife, trees, everything nature. I'm glad these foxes has a chance to live out their lives in an open space where they are fed, protected, and cared for. I didn't know foxes comes in all different colors. They are beautiful!!!!
Appreciate what ýou do. I live in Dublin city we have many city foxes wh i have seen many times. I have also seen country foxes when i was younger. We only have Reds but they are amazing
