Nice video. I have to comment on the brevite backpack. Yes you can fit all that stuff. But it is not comfortable when it’s that stuffed. I own that backpack. I like that it’s small and portable doesn’t look like a camera backpack but when it’s that stuffed it does not feel good. Feels flimsy when fully packed and is not weather proof/ resistant. Pretty pricey for no type of rain proof. Also the Velcro does not hold up for too long only owned it for about a year. It’s a cool backpack for 1 body and 1 lens max. Anything more than that the backpack does not feel too good.

Shooting on a Fuji XH2s. My go to lenses are a 10-24 (15-35mm) and a 33 (50mm)

Yuppp. Haven't used them in a while but Ive been editing on Premiere lately and that's what I've got! Might get some Motionvfx packs to try in Premiere soon.

I've searched everywhere for this, but couldn't find the answer. I'm a beginner. I have a 24 - 70mm f/2.8 lens. I realize I need something wider for real-estate photography. However, I'm wondering if I could get by with a 16mm prime rather than a 16 - 35 mm zoom. The primary reason I ask: Budget. The secondary reason: Would I be missing out on anything by going the prime route? Would appreciate your insight(s)! Thank you for making this content!

Hey! Nope, primes are generally better than zooms in overall quality (if they're within the same product/quality lineup). I recommend the zoom because if you're buying your first kit it can cover everything you need unless you just personally want to get something specific / different. If you're looking at the RF 16mm by Canon it's not quite as good in quality as the L series by Canon. I did a video comparing them a while back if you want to check it out - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DpWDKEQrADI.html - It's a great little lens, just not quite the same color production and quality as the more expensive options. For normal real estate work, I think the RF should be fine especially if you incorporate some shots with your 24-70 like the front exterior + details (if that's the one you're looking at).

Helpful video, thanks! I have a call with a realtor tomorrow who's after an 'in-house' photographer for their business..any advice/questions you think I should be asking..any pitfalls to avoid?? In an ideal world I'd like to be totally, freelance but it could be a good opportunity to learn etc. Cheers!

Congrats! Biggest thing would be to set some boundaries and let them know you plan to work with other people up front if you do. Maybe they have enough work + budget for you to just work for them, though. Let me know how it goes! :)
