I love how in the last episode or two everyone at the table is wearing the most beautiful, epic fairytale makeup, or the coolest outfits, looking absolutely GORGEOUS, and then there's just. brennan. in his little shirt. the most ordinary looking white guy you could imagine.

I love that Squak is simultaneously sending out both recommendations and a scathing review of the book

The Dev Patel letter is hysterical. The "you're tired ? I'm dying here" was both so predictable but also so hilarious on so many levels.

"GET HIM, COUSIN, GET HIM!" emily and lou were the BEST this season

honestly, at first I thought the Green Hunter bit seemed too silly and sidetracked for all the other kinda serious stuff that was happening, but then once Aabria joined in and fully committed to the Green Hunter being canonically intertwined into their universe, with every NPC and PC being so cognizant of this dumbass book, i grew to think of it as one of the best running jokes to come out of this season.

The "Dearest Dev Patel" moment made me laugh so hard I almost passed out

It’s not nearly the best bit in this saga, but I swear to god “seems MOMENTS away from a *divorce*.” makes me shriek every time

Squak: "I'm Airry Peary~" Rue: "TAKE. IT. OUT!" Never fails to make me laugh 😂

I'll say it again. I have a Airry Peary theory: Green Hunter is a success and Squawk looks to the bloom for inspiration for his next book and tells of the romance between the warrior Hobb and the owlbear Rue. With the portals open the book finds its way into the mortal realm, becoming popular in Exandria under the name Feather Leather.

Squak's "secret identity" transitioning to general public knowledge is everything 😂😂😂

I am 100% convinced that Brennan just forgot the fact that his character Hobb doesn’t know about the Green Hunter secret, and paid the most hilarious price for it.

The Fey courts all discussing some random human book in the midst of perhaps the final gathering just seems so in character.

I've watched this video at least four times since it was posted. Based my viewing, RU-vid recommended a video about secretary birds. When I watched it today, I had the pleasure of learning that European scientists originally named it the Sagittarius, which means... THE HUNTER! Lou Wilson put the biggest bird reference into his character's actions and didn't say ANYTHING ABOUT IT! He just left it there for us to stumble over!

wtf ive never seen a fancomp with this much value added trough informative/comedic/very relatable editors notes. Generally just really nice edits, great topic too, one of the many truly great bits from that season. thats a sub for shure, cant wait to see if all your vids are this good

The best part? I still dont know if The Green Hunter is an actual book that Squak made in the game, or if everyone just collectively hallucinated the book existing and they just push the lie that it does exist and theres a movie being made on this elaborate lie, and i gotta say, i dont know which i want cause both are absolutely amazing

The Lou/Oscar asides and whispers are some of my favorite moments not only of the series but of life so far in total.

I saw someone say this was the weakest of the D20 seasons. Which blew my mind because I've never heard someone be so wrong yet so confident.

On cold winter nights Jeremy Renner makes his way to his study, closes the solid oak doors, pours himself a generous glass of single malt whiskey, takes a seat in a comfortable leather wing back chair and takes a long sip of his drink. He then sets his glass down on a table and pulls out his phone and quietly watches this video as he ruminates on things that might have been. It would not be the first time that he has done this, nor would it be the last.

Ever since Fey and Flowers when I see a casting that makes me happy I say under my breath "They got Renner."

so we have the green hunter of the bloom and the orange hat of the neverafter. we gotta get a violet something hyperfixated upon in another D20 campaign to complete the triad of chronically mentioned secondary colors on this show

I watched this last night and just saw Jeremy Renner was in an accident. This is probably inappropriate, but these two things are now inseparably linked forever. A real tragedy has just become part of my head canon for a ttrpg campaign.

Just to correct Aabria, there is a video on youtube named "Jeremy Renner Tears Up Remembering Performing Musical Theater For Kids (Exclusive)" where he talks about doing Musical Theater in college, performing the Wizard of Oz for a multitude of schools. I guess it didn't warrant a place on his Wikipedia page but it still counts.

This is all I want out of Dimension 20. Just pure hijinks and silliness. This was such a great season.

ACOFAF was the third season of D20 that I tried to watch, but it was the first season where it all finally clicked and made me go back and fall in love with Fantasy High. The Green Hunter sub plot was a big part of why. Jeremy Renner is a theatre kid too btw.
