My Home Depot in South Dakota has fantastic, large selection of outdoor plants in spring but when it comes to Houseplants, they suck. Same for Walmart and Lowe's. I get depressed in winter when I can't find alive plants at big box stores. If it wasn't for my grocery store having a fantastic floral department with amazing houseplants, I'd need to be committed to a psych ward.😂
My local HD got new plants in Thursday, I grabbed a Brasil right out of the plastic wrapped crate and went back yesterday to see what else they had. Grabbed another Brasil and a string of pearls. Person at register asked if I like the new plants they have. I replied honestly, “No! They don’t have anything compared to other people I see on RU-vid!”
Thankyou for telling us that they're poisonous for the pets and spidermites ❤❤❤ been followng you since you hit 10k love it and wait for your videos you're just so laid back but cool n happy always it's so my vibe and just wish I could go to these places such different varieties here in Aus so it's cool love youuuu ❤❤❤💚💚🌿🪴🌺🌬🍁💚💚💚
My local HD only had one overwatered heart leaf philo and two hanging baskets of golden pothos. Everything in pots was a suv Ilene left from last summer which they also drowned. Some rotting to the point they stunk. I wish so bad they’d get a new supplier of houseplants.
Hi! I can't wait our box stores are starting to get more plants and it makes me so happy. Thank you so much for bringing us along have an amazing week!💚💚
It's starting to warm up here and I have Spring fever. Cleaned up my front veranda and planning what I want to do with it plant wise this Summer. Some Palms and Elephant Ears. Can't wait
That was a good plant shopping video, yesterday I went to Home Depot and I found a Florida Green I scooped it up because we hardly see that plant in my area. I wish Home Depot employees would stop overwatering the plants my plant was so soggy when I got home I immediately had to take it out of the pot and put it in fresh dry soil.
I just got a ficus umbellata at HD last night and now I'm terrified I made a mistake. I cannot find much in the way of plant care tips for this particular plant. I also killed my tineke and altissima last year so I'm nervous to try another one.
Thumbs up Patrick. On the Fiddle leaf fig. Water, once a week if it needs it, good bright indirect light, and leach the soil every 6 months to a year. I use a good well draining soil.
Hey! I just left HD and got a couple plants. I got a ZZ Raven for half off cuz it’s in bad shape. It’ll be good in no time with my TLC lol Thanks for your vid’s. Love youuu! ❤
Hi Patrick would you mind dropping the address to both Home Depot I don’t live far from Costa Mesa and would love to visit both locations My local Home Depot is nothing compared to these two stores, Thanks so much for sharing, love your channel
I am on a Hoya kick and look for Hoyas everywhere I go. I have NEVER seen a Hoya with flowers in a big box store… or anywhere… 🥲 I hope to see mine bloom soon!
I hear you. All the big box stores in my area has the same problem. Plus, because I live in a cold state most of plants are dead and dying. Part of the problem is they refuse to turn up the heat in the greenhouse and the employees overwater the plants leading to root rot. I bought 3 cactus and 2 orchids once. Hours after coming home, two of three cactus collapsed in on themselves from rot and 3 weeks later one of the two orchids also dead of root rot. Very upsetting.
