I kinda dislike the smithing template stuff the fact that you can duplicate it even in vanilla shows how undercooked the idea is also strongholds feel so hard to find in atm9

I thought i'de get the unobatainium smithing template in the end so i've explored for 2 hours but it seems that i was wrong, thank you so much for this video!!

Here a tip for cheesing the dungeon in the other.. It is full of very high quality spawn cages, evokers, mr angry hands, his blue cousin who blinds you, wither skellies… It’s crazy in there. Now I do recommend you give it a go, hopefully you’ll be well equipped by the time you’re taking this on. But it does get tedious after several hours of it. So when you’re going back for your third or fourth visit make yourself a mekanism digital miner, a good battery (ultimate cube/nitro cell etc) and an ender gate/flux point and a well upgraded backpack or shulker box. Set the digital miner up on ground level around outside the dungeon (it is much larger below ground than its footprint on the surface) power it from the battery and power the battery from the ender gate, stick the backpack on the output. And then open the gui on digital miner, add a filter and put any spawn cage (a silk touched one) in there, doesn’t matter if it’s a skelly or spider or whatever spawner, it’s the same item, only difference is nbt data. Set the miner to go right to the bottom of the world (-64) and right to the top of the dungeon (200 or so) and the radius to maximum (32) and set it going. Your backpack will fill with enderio broken spawners and forbidden’s broken spawner item. Once the counter has finished in the miner drop a torch to mark your position, bring up the chunk borders, go across two chunks and repeat. When the miner stops bringing in broken spawners you’ll know you’ve gone far enough in that direction, turn 90 degrees, go to the second chunk and start another row back the other way. In half an hour you’ll have almost completely have stripped the dungeon of spawners and you’ll be amazed how many were in there. Go get your loot in almost peace. There will still be mobs in there for sure but much less chaotic. Please do have a crack at the dungeon before you do this, it is a lot of fun. But it’s a huge structure and it can get tedious. Best. Edit/ps. Another pro tip. Hang onto that digital miner/power supply and backpack combo. Going to be very handy to find all the forbidden ores if you want to make a lot of the stars or a lot of forever gear. Another edit & addition sorry. Definitely add maximum speed and power upgrades to digital miner. Don’t bother with the muffler, it’s not nearly so noisy as other mekanism machines, crusher etc..

Interestingly, mining Allthemodium is not actually locked behind netherite tools. You can get it with refined obsidian tools. System did this in his second episode and it really surprised me because he got it without needing to really go to the nether. His first few episodes were super optimized for getting up and running fast it seemed.

There's also an Iron's Spell and Spellbooks addon that makes any type of Wizard gear into Allthemodium to Unobtanium, and I plan to go Unobtainium Wizard Robe and Boots and Spellbook for that matter lol

3:04 you could also use a refined obsidian pickaxe which is easier to make than netherite if you work with mekanism

I think there is also a stargate portal on the roof of the nether u could try to get. U only need to use a command to get the adress. I know u don't like the mystical, but there are also seeds for allthemodium and stuff like that u could mention, just to let people know and choose there own path.

If you kill enough of the evokers and such, you can get the charms that make them ignore you. Gives you the opportunity to silk touch those spawners!

Dont forget to hammer atleast the first allthemoddium to 2 dust.. so you can enter the mining dimension with a sight emblem ;)

could you please do a separate ' how to ' on making a silent gear night vision and luck charms/necklace/rings ? , i can remember how and cant seem to find your expiation in old episodes @pilpoh

I´ve spent rougly 2 hours looking for suspicious clay in the ancient city i found and cant find any. Is it a 100% spawn in ancient cities or is it just a chance to have on e ??

I went with Mystical Agriculture after getting my initial bits of ATM, Unobtanium and Vibranium to automate the ore gathering. Though I guess it's not truly automatic as I still have to craft up the essences.

I walked over 50k blocks in the other trying to find the dungeon this weekend. Thought I was Moses looking for the promised land. Stumbled across two pig villages and two pyramids. Halfway through day two I went into the configs and hacked the no fly zone. Call me a cheat, I don’t give a toss. My kill count on wither skellys and blazes is several thousands of each. Three hours later and forty thousand blocks north the structure compass finally found one, it was 9,700 blocks to the east. If I’d flown another hundred blocks north it probably would’ve been out of the 10k range, it was just dumb luck.

Doesn't Vibranium also spawn in The Other?

I couldn't find unobtanium template in the library, is there any chance i can find it somewhere else?

I just wanted to clarify something. You can now find Vibranium anywhere in the Nether 64+ on exposed walls only.

Is MA that bad now to get these ores? Was planning on getting a basic setup with bees until I have enough for Mystical agriculture.
