Here are 7 new features that will be in EA Sports College Football 25 that were not in NCAA Football 14. New Teams video: • All the New Teams in C... Kirk Herbstreit on Pat McAfee Show: reelC5TI9y...
same here lol. I just dont like professional sports so im not interested in Madden or NBA2k and whatever. I just play revamped and am still loving but something new will be refreshing
Hahaha we all know EA has failed before the game has even released. I fully expect it to be hot garbage. I have ZERO faith in EA football games anymore. I've been playing NCAA 14 again it is still significantly better than MADDEN today, on new Gen consoles. Ya, the graphics are much better on new Gen but the "gameplay" is still far amlnd away much better, especially dynasty mode and road to glory. As for "real players", no body gives a sh*t. We had that in NCAA 14 because you could download custom roster edits by people who legitimately spent timing editing every roster name for each school. I genuinely hope EA shocks everyone and makes it amazing. But let's be honest, they are only going to make sure the "ultimate team" crap is flawless to milk billions out of dumb gamers. It's disappointing how far EA has fallen. Mmmmmaybe this will be the final straw for them and the consumers will finally wake-up and stop giving them money and people in charge will start being fired. College fan base is much larger than NFL. With 134 teams just in this game alone compared to 32 NFL teams. Again, I hope EA shocks us all and proves us wrong. They have not delivered in ANYTHING they advertise in almost a decade
@@garretttg2196 As much as I hate to admit it you are right but I have a little more hope this time because they had more time to work on the game but I’m not expecting something more than collage teams and new announcers
I miss the old days playing NCAA: -Disciplining athletes for in-class mishaps like cheating on tests, being late to practice, etc -spring games -trick special teams plays like the fumblerooksie, reverse kick/punt returns -heat check/ and how crowd noise made it so that the away team couldn’t always audible -celebrating with the mascot/after excessively running up the score could lead to unsportsmanlike conduct -the risk-reward chess match that playing CB used to have -swat(still be in position to make a tackle), or go for the pick( risk a big play because you mistimed the catch) -fake the pitch on option plays
They had a game where Corso would put on headgear of mascot team he expected to win out of your game you were playing. They didn't have a GameDay for a specific team at a specific location it was just always for your game in a studio.
I’m hoping to see a better focus on pregame traditions myself with much more focus on the marching bands along with quick post game interviews and analysis.
Appreciate it. Football is football. The pageantry is almost the only thing now that separates college from the NFL since the NIL mess. EA really needs to focus on the atmosphere for that separation. Just my $0.02.
I won’t be surprised at all if they don’t. I understand about the need of good gameplay, but presentation is now almost the only thing that separates college from NFL. This is EA’s college game’s team prime opportunity to shine given the fact it’s been since 2014. I’m definitely not getting my hopes up from a presentation standpoint though.
16 team playoff isn't confirmed for real life, only 14. But I'm with you brother, not having customizable playoffs would be crazy, at the minimum there should be a 4 team option for legacy dynasties.
Since new changes are expected like eventual Pac-2 expansion or whatever they work out with the MW longterm, expanded playoff, and further realignment, I hope they do DLC that keeps the game aligned with the reality instead of having to wait a year to buy the next one just to be up to date with FSU in the Big Ten and Memphis in the ACC or something like that
Hopefully down the road or in the game, they'll have team builder *like a 2k style customization, custom bowl game maker, conference maker, stadium builder as you build up your program, budgeting adjustments based on school/booster revenue. Where, you can improve facility/academics areas for recruiting.😅
I really just care about the main thing... Gameplay!!! how each player/position will be, running styles and movements for each player, difference between 5 star recruit on the field than a 3 or 4 star recruit, you can see it in the gameplay. looks and feels like college football in the gameplay!!
I remember reading an article from the producer of NCA football right after it was canceled. He said they had planned to put in create arrival and rivalry trophies in the next installment. I hope that’s something that’s carried into this game.
I just hope with being over 10 years since the last game they really do good with the gear such as cleats hopefully hella options then gloves sleeves arm & legs. Also sock level adjustments not jus the basic 3 options & can we get actual spats that look real not these ones that look like foot blocks in madden 😂
I asumme NIL is gonna be like ps2 era offseason wherw they did the %points of where to focus for the next season i think it was recruiting, off season training and disipline. I remember bad discipline and not sitting guys equalled recruiting penalties and i loved it
I remember a few years ago a former Madden producer said if we want to know the direction of Madden; pay attention to FIFA. The new FIFA plays very well & is graphically amazing compared to Madden & I hope CFB25 follows them versus the Madden model
do you play the soccer games if so how much of a difference is the gameplay and is it some thing madden could use as well because it seems like madden could have used hypermotion but they went with field sense instead
They had college game day on gen 2 consoles so ncaa football 05,06,07,08 I know for sure because I played all those. Lee corso would put on the teams mascot helmet of whoever he was choosing to win the matchup
The NCAA was 99.99% aware that NIL policies were about to change in 2021. Although the Alston v NCAA case was finalized in June, the NCAA, NJCAA, and NAIA were preparing for the change much earlier.
This article and others kinda touch on it. EA was aware of the NIL policies but even if NIL was not allowed, they were going to make the game regardless. www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39569777/new-ea-sports-college-football-game-details-features-nil-realignment
Actually, announcement of the game came immediately on the heels of the Supreme court ruling that college athletes could get paid. So EA wasn't going to make this game regardless, they were waiting on the ruling.
You can preorder a physical copy at select GameStop locations right now, but if you want to wait for the online preorder, I assume it'll be available after the full reveal in May like you said
@@tubbylight sweet. I need the physical copy. Any idea how to find out which locations offer preordering without just calling? I’ve found that just because someone works at a store, doesn’t mean they’re up to date on the game lol
i don’t think there’s a single sports title today that doesn’t contain LESS features than 10 or 20 years ago. less features and endless UT ads is the theme of today. still hoping this might be different!
Ultimately I'd love to be able to go back in history and resimulate those seasons with modern tweaks or simulate the modern day with conferences the way they used to be A lot of people care about real players or dynasty or whatever. I don't. I want to be able to customize everything if I wanted to. And Of I wanted to play an arcade style of game instead of realistic I wamt yo be able to do that too
Please for the love of god no ultimate teams. The game was good because of dynasty mode and recruiting challenges. Taking a small school into a powerhouse was always something that was fun to do.
if they have any sort of x factor shit or abilities like they have in madden then i'll be damn pist. In madden it makes sense but they better not fuck this game up.
Espn gameday has never been in ea sports NCAA football. The closest thing they had was Corso putting on headgear pregame. The setup was he, Herbstreit and Brad Nessler.
We need in ncca 25 is what 2k has been had for about 9 10 years and what madden tried to do with 3v3 but of course madden made it cartoony and unrealistic.....we need a city a neighborhood where RTG players from any school can matchmake with other RTG players from the same school and really get into a 7v7 or 11v11 match or maybe even a whole co-op season to compete for awards bowls games or transfer and become rivals to each other the possibilities are endless
They did have a playoff I believe in NCAA football 98 for the PlayStation 1 it was but like it wasn't it was kind of a you would play the game and you would have Herbstreit Corso pick what team what pick what team you what game you're playing put the game of the week it was
After 3 games most guys will turn off the announcers and skip the halftime report. This college game is a waste of resources that could have been used to build a new Madden
Now they need to add like scoreboard like fox paint scoreboard and espn scoreboard at different times and place and sponsor custom fans bands fan interaction and sports broadcast sponsorship and smart ai stuff they do irl and more injuries
I would have been perfectly fine with fictional players. Helli, I will be super lucky if I could name and/or recognize any current players from any team.
