Yāvarum kēḷir
We will mark the 20th anniversary of our dance center with special video project and performance "Yāvarum kēḷir".
"2000 years ago, an influential Tamil philosopher, a great poet, Kaniyan Pungundranar wrote in Tamil "Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir" which means "All the places of the world are thy living place. All the peoples of the world are thy relatives."
The poem stresses that all people should be bound by one, same moral and legal code and the work reject the division of mankind into various categories and emphasises the universality of all humans.
We are happy to present this video presentation this year, We had so much fun together, such a relief to dance together again !
Ultimately, we want to stay true to our original vision.
Art that beats for Humanity!

Tamil Sathirattam (Bharata Natyam). The art of the Tamils. Originated in Tamil Nadu. Early the dance was performed by the Devaradiyar (Devadasis) at temples. But the Aryan Brahmins stole it from Tamils. There was a Imaginary MYTHICAL person called Bharatamuni who created this dance shastra from the scriptures of Rick, Yasur, Sama and Atharvana. Bharatanatyam . But Actually The original grammar for the Bharathanattiyam /Tamil Sathir natanam is in Tamil Sangam literature SILAPATHIKARAM. & NATTIYA NANNOOL.
