Beautiful well-bred and triple registered AQHA, IBHA, and ABRA 5 year old, 16.0 Hand black gelding with some of the best names in the industry on his papers.. Bear is as gentle as they come with the funniest personality! He is very well trained and is proven in the show pen with multiple local placings in Hunter under saddle, Equitation, Driving and Ranch Riding. Bear is well trained to drive and placed in the top ten for pleasure driving at Congress. He has also been used to push cattle and does all of the trail obstacles. He is very quiet minded and rock solid to ride out anywhere. In the arena Bear will neck rein or direct rein, he has a nice smooth slow jog and will lope out on cue. Good stop and backs soft. Side passes with ease as well. You couldn’t ask for a more content and carefree horse to ride in an urban setting or out on the trails. I don’t think he has ever been concerned about anything we have come across in our neighborhood. From the charging barking dogs, to the local mini Farm as well all motor vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles, yard equipment, stuff on the curb, etc. Bear is equally good on our steep Rocky trails. He navigates the hills and rough terrain well, will lead, follow, and ride peacefully in any position in a group and is just as content to go out on his own. He loves a bath and loves the water! This is a get along kind of horse and does great turned out with other horses and is fine in a small pen or box stall. Bear is very friendly, very personable and is good about everything. No bad habits or vices and is 100% safe, sane and sound. 5 panel tested NN on all.
