My dad has the first one with the birds and the third one with the deer and guns he’s had them since before I was born and I grew up hearing them every day. I’m 27 now and moved out with kids of my own and hearing those clocks made me want to get some for around the house

I too would like to know the maker of that 1st clock as well. I believe it is the same one that belonged to my great grandmother. My grandmother has it now and it could use a bit of service as it won't cuckoo on the hour as it should. Awesome collection of neat clocks

I love mechanical objects and for some reason i really like cuckoo clocks lately. It is sad that in our world this craftsmanship seems to be becoming forgotten. I think it would be wonderful to have a career as someone who makes things like this!!! Great collection, thank you for sharing

They are not forgotten, there are many internet sites that sell cuckoo clocks. In Germany many shops continuously sell cuckoo clocks, but you have to be careful now there are also fake ones and electronic ones, which for me are not real cuckoo clocks.

I had the fortune of visiting cuckoo clock show room at Black forest Germany A massive collection of various types at two locations were seen there Your collection is really massive and a miniature form of the showroom It was not possible to hear all the clocks Yur display helped in njoying a few which I had not tried there

I have wanted a Cuckoo Clock as far back as I can remember. The music box and dancers bring a magic you just don't see anymore. I love the chalet style and hope one day that I'll own the animated lovers... waterwheel and dancers....or Maybe get the one with the animated train that goes round from one tunnel to the next. An impressive collection indeed; thanks for sharing! And all of them are mechanical! Congrats for that too! :) Sorry for the maybe naive question but being given the layout of your wall, it seems that the weights of some of the cuckoos cannot make it ti the floor, as there are other clocks beneath them. Does it mean you rewind the above clocks more often or that they are not running the whole time?

Do you have a video that shows what to do if the weight is pulled all the way up on the left but it won't tick tock or stay running? I noticed on my cuckoo clock.the left weight is pulled completely up to the hole in the bottom of the wood and it does not seem to move down at all.
