In this lesson, we go over the classic Jazz tune "All the Things You Are." Originally written in 1939 by Jerome Kern with lyrics written by Oscar Hammerstein II, this tune has become one of the most played "Standards" in the Jazz repertoire. In this video, I show you how I created an arrangement that utilizes simultaneous lines that help create a counterpoint melody through the chord changes. The techniques and devices shown in this lesson can be used in many different styles of music, including Jazz, RnB, Neo-Soul, Lofi, Fusion, and more.
